@@maximumhaller4156 It's the details that matter. They have taking out the details that make star wars star wars and made something else entirely. You could make an argument that these movies or shows would be good if they were not "Star Wars" movies and called them something else entirely.

This is something I should be hyped for. But I’ve heard so much bad stuff and Disney already literally made me decanonize an entire trilogy of movies in my head. I just want my suffering to end. I just want Star Wars to be good and respected again.

There are so many people still out here enjoying Star Wars. Yes, the franchise isn't perfect, it never has been, but I'm still having a blast with it. You can too.
Thanks man. I do love a lot of Disney Star Wars. The only thing I don’t like is the sequels and Kenobi. Streaming is also the main reason for all current shows being poorly distributed and produced. Star Wars is just a victim of that. Wish they could just make a great movie to get people to care again. Hopefully this team can pull together like Andor so we can at least have a good tv show. And hey a pre phantom menace with Jedi order should get any Star Wars fan automatically hooked. Hard to mess that up.

First
I'm not excited after hearing the cast at SW celebration. "The best parts about Star Wars is there is no good or evil, depends on what side you're standing on."
And "Star Wars is very like patriarchal" when there is literally Princess Leia, Padme, Mon Mothma, Holdo, etc. and George Lucas' wife (Marcia) helped make SW.
And the SW "Hasn't felt like a safe space always for people of color." Has she never heard of James Earl Jones, Billy Dee Williams, Samuel L. Jackson, John Boyega, Ahmed Best, Forest Whitaker, Hugh Quarshie, etc.?
And a final thing, Leslye Headland is a former personal assistant for Harvey Weinstein.
