Hi David, I’m about to make a purchase. It’s either going to be the plunge pro XL, which I have owned before. Or it’s going to be the “ all in“.
The reason I had the plunge pro XL is because there was so much more room to fully submergent compared to the plunge classic, which I also had preowned. Believe it or not I was able to sell them both at close to the same price I bought them for because at that time nobody wanted to wait for the long shipping delays from the plunge.
My question is, were you easily able to fully submerge in the all in?
I know when I had the plunge classic, it was a small challenge to keep my knees submerged while fully dunking my head. I am about 6’1 tall, but I’m a lot older than you, and it’s harder for me to crunch up to fully submerge.
Nice! I would totally go for the All In. The new "non slanded side" makes for a way easier experience controlling how and when you fully submerge. so you no longer prefer the barrel position as you did a few months ago you now prefer lying down for the cold exposure?
I absolutely LOVE the active position of the barrel. I personally prefer it, but for the Plunge tubs, these two offer a totally different experience. This review is really just comparing the All in vs the XL Plunge

Just got the XL and surprised how loud the humming sound is of the water pump. Was the sound difference between the two that noticeable? If so I might look into upgrading
