@@koala_queeenhonestly, you will never get good drugstore shampoo. It’s all so watered down that it doesn’t matter if there are “good” ingredients I. It, then you’re stuck washing your hair every to every other day becasue it will never clean your hair properly. So in the end, you’re using more cheap shampoo than you’d be using if you used salon shampoo, so you’re spending more money on garbage when you could spend a bit more and get actual good shampoo. I found an organic natural brand from a salon called Loma. Great price, $40 for shampoo/conditioner duo, and I can go 4 days without washing my hair now. The bottles have already lasted me 2 months and are still over half full. It’s cheaper in the long run to buy salon shampoo. And better for your hair. I’ll never go back.

You can always look up the ingredients in the shampoos she listed. INCIDecoder is a good place to search for products by ingredient or to get general ingredient explanations. Just avoid EWG since they're not science based.
most safer shampoos will be made up with a majority of organic ingredients. Toxic ingredients in most common shampoos can include sodium laurel sulfates, ammonium laurel sulfates, PEG, DMDM Hydantoin, chemical fragrances, methylisothaizolinone, plus many others.
“Its fragrance free need i say more?” were watching you for information that we should know since you are a professional so yes i think you do need to say more
As a hairstylist of nearly a decade, I can share with you you, that you are not intended to apply harsh hair shampoo on your hair. I've seen hairlines of numerous people, and I noticed that people who were using strong shampoos generally had poor hair line. So I advise only to use natural shampoo cleanser only. I personally use and recommend to use litttleextra cocconioon shampoo only. Also, do hot oil massage two times a week as it improves circulation and promotes hair growth.
@@emmc1105depends on if you have fine or coarse hair. I have fine to medium and I use Loma. It’s salon grade, organic and gluten, paraben and sulfate free. Best shampoo I’ve ever used and feels so light. Cost effective too! If you have coarse hair, I’d probably go with Moroccan oil products.
There was a wonderful shampoo sold in the 80's called Carmie. First ingredient was purified mountain water and it went on from there. For adding moisture and shine and bounce, it was perfect. Haven't seen this since then. Wonderful for dry hair and hair health. 😭
I really miss the aveeno pure renewal shampoo and conditioner. I used it for several years before they discontinued it a few years ago and now it’s super expensive on Amazon as they go though backstock. It really was the best drugstore shampoo though- left my hair so soft and shiny and healthy and I’m still trying to find a good replacement edit: Found one! I've been really loving the function of beauty products. They're so customizable and bonus I feel like a witch making a potion when I'm mixing all my different hair goals together
The Aveeno OG one was the bomb I agree! However, FOB made my hair fall out in clumps! I returned it. FOB is not for everyone and I have fine wavy hair.
I learned a secret about drugstore shampoos, and it’s not necessarily what ingredients are in it, but the concentration of the ingredients in the shampoo. Drugstore shampoos are so watered down, it doesn’t matter if they have a bit of fruit or some good oil in it, you can wash ten times and not make your hair clean. Professional shampoos are way more concentrated, and have less fillers and other stuff. Once I learned that, I threw out my old shampoo and I only use salon grade shampoo now.
@H Rose I use sauve conditioner which can go for 3 dollars. And shampoo I just use basically any head and shoulders conditioner. And since have shorter hair it usually lasts a while and I get nice hair from products that together cost 8 dollars
@@Queer_Derg Thats awesome!! I try and find some that work but have to move around. Head and Shoulders works great!!! I have my best hair days. LoL Thanks for responding!
No hair is fine with drugstore shampoo. You just haven’t tried salon grade yet lol. If you have to wash your hair every to every other day, your shampoo isn’t cleaning your hair. I go 4 days without washing hair, and I can extend it another day if I have to with dry shampoo. I use Loma brand, it’s salon grade but still cost effective. If you try salon grade you’ll never go back. Difference is concentration of ingredients, not necessarily the ingredients themselves. All drugstore shampoo is watered down, no exception.
Hairtage by Mindy cause breakouts on my face and scalp. It also caused breakage, buildup and itching. The smell of most of the products is not pleasant. Shea moisture has been my go to. Watch out for old and heavy products that don't work for your hair type. Everything is not for everyone.
same. I love my hair smelling good and its part of the experience for me. As for skin and body care I go fragrance free. but haircare? give me the delicious smells
My husband only used brill cream n he’s hair he had the most gorgeous thick jet black hair and the scent was lovely. I only use a little moisturiser on my hair and warm water, it stays ever so soft. Soap and shampoo strip and dry the hair never use these products. My grandmother used to use a little almond oil and she would simmer mint leaves in a pot and then let them steep and cool and use the solution as a final rinse. Her hair had a beautiful scent and texture. 🌟💛❤️
I have really thick corse curly hair that literally will stick straight up as it did for first 20+ years of my life. But I found a shampoo and conditioner that even if I just wash and condition my hair it stays down and my hair has defined curls and is SOFT for first time in my life. Yes it's kinda expensive ( $29 for both the shampoo and conditioner bars) it's Viori. I know it works for me ( they have shampoos and conditioner for most hair types.
the few on your list I've actually tried don't clean very well at all. I'd need to repeat a couple times for it to work. I've used mane n tail for years on my waist length one length hair and it allows it to grow way past my chest/belly area.
I used a Loreal salon product over 10 years ago, Elastocurl, combined with a shot of their oil for a couple of years. It was the only product that held my curls, made them shiny and didn't make them crunchy. Then they changed the formula, added a very strong fragrance and made it watery. I looked EVERYWHERE trying several brands and even one almost exactly the same formula, and NONE were even close. So the $35 for about 8oz was worth it. Also, my late mom commented many times about how nice the fragrance was.
I’ve been using the Shea moisturizing shampoo and conditioner, no fragrance, no sulfates. It leaves my dry, frizzy, wiry, coarse hair very soft. I add a couple of drops of pure essential oils for a little scent. What are your thoughts on this Shea product ?
