so pretty much, the press around movements work the shortened position of the pecs and DB bench work the lengthened? Would the seated cable press that you have posted on ur IG also be the lengthened position because you can't reach around the sternum?
hey how can i modify the cross body tricep pushdown to emphasise the shortened position of long head. Should I move straight back or move sideways away from the cable to do so. And while doing this excercise, should the cable always be at eye height or can it be higher? Thank you for all the useful information.

Literally zero reason whatsoever unless you just want to limit your gains. Muscles grow more when trained in lengthened positions.
