The tortured, hates himself just a little bit male main character who loves the badass (politically, intelligence-wise, and magically) female main character is there. Please read it! Nectar of the Wicked didn’t do it for me, too spicy not enough plot. HATED the MMC. The 2nd book was better though and we got dual POV and a lot more plot (more like the first 50 pages of book 1). Completely agree with all your thoughts on that

I think about Cassian constantly. If you love Nedra and Cassian read Embers & Light ff. It’s not finished but it’s worth it.
