Great video. How do i do this with a ps4 on 9.00 and a USB? I tried putting PKG files on the root of the USB then going to the 'debug' menu to install but it shows no PKGs are found
What format is the usb drive? You need exfat or fat32. Maybe test another drive if that doesn't work
@@thomaszielinski4326 i tried both with formats. Switching USBs solved the problem for me.

sorry noob question, how are you supposed to connect the jailbroken ps4 to the wifi where your PC is also connected if it will risk of being updated to the latest version or sony's server could possibly detect your ps4 running on a jailbroken software and risk of getting banned?

i was able to install some games until it started to give me an error has occurred (CE-32918-3) I uninstalled one of the games I had installed thinking it was the PKG files was corrupted but its not letting me install those games as well

Hello, I've tried the method with the Remote Package Installer a couple times. But every single time when it's about to end downloading it says "Could'nt be installed". Is there a fix for this?
maybe the .pkg your using is corrupted or broken. Try a different .pkg

Its pretty annoying that there is not app that lets you download the games. Kind of like the switch.... Or going to a website and letting you download them directly from the ps4

it's all trial and error, some links work others don't. you have to download the newest version of the direct pkg installer and try links, dlpsgame is a good website to start in

You can use ftp, go to user/app and look up the game's code you wanna back app, for example CUSA01373, open that and copy the app.pkg to your pc. Look up how to use ftp if you don't. I may make a tutorial sometime later

Did you download as rar files? You have to extract if that's the case.

@@latashelar5682 I tried but my external HDD is my dedicated extended storage I had to reformat it Everytime I plugged it to my ps4 as extended storage.and reformat when connected to the laptop since it couldn't detect the HDD after the PS4 formatted it. I just downloaded IPI and downloading games that way and today I'm going to try remote package installer. Just sucks I don't have extra Ethernet cables so it's all wifi.

doesn't depend on speed of the internet, it depends on the speed of your router and the ethernet cable, you can have no internet and still install game ( if you have them on your pc of course)
