i want to thank you for being a blessing to me because of you i have a life that has meaning because you hav taught me so much if it wasn't for God and you i wouldn't be here so GOD bless you always.
Love the design! I really wanna try this and make a bigger version of this too, as a matching place mat!
I am definitely going to try this out this weekend. I have been following your videos for about a year now and I have learned a lot from you. I had a heart attack in mid September of 2019. And the doctors don’t want me to have any stress. Now that I a new video from you to learn. I’m excited ☺️
Lisa stay tuned for more 😊
Ooh I like these, much prefer them to boring old coasters. You can wash them and they look fun, saw a few nice suggestions for other ideas folk had, you lady ,inspire so many of us 😀 🌸🌼🌻🌺🌹 have some spring flowers.
I’m going to make this for my daughters doll house. Sooo cute!!
That will be cute Gina
I'm going to make this for Daughters Doll House Sooo cutell
What a great idea ☺
Hi Denise mam thank you so much for the feed back I loved the design
Love this mug rug tutorial and can’t wait to make a bunch of them. Thank you Denise!
I knew it !!! Your mind and creativity must work overtime. You are a treasure and still the Queen of looming. I love this pattern.
thank YOU my friend !
Loving the new method to change colors!! Thanks Denise for another awesome pattern, I appreciate you!
You've done it again, Denise! Another great project! I just made one and now I'm gonna make lots more. I like how you explain some steps. It puts new knitters at ease.
Thank you Jennifer 😘
The flat knit stitch creates a very tight stitch. U-wrap is a little looser, e-wrap is the loosest stitch.
This is an awesome pattern. I'm thinking the soap needs one of these. It also looks like it could be made into a small foot rug by multiplying the amount of knits by peg, and using a 40 peg loom.
You TRULY have among the absolute BEST tutorials on planet earth. If you're not a teacher in real life, perhaps you should have been. Awesome, awesome work.
Thank YOU Tana thank you so much ! 😘
I love how this project looks so good & like it was made professionally/kinda a complex pattern (esp.2 someone like me who is a beginner,or an average person who doesn't knit. It looks like something that was really hard 2 make imo)..
These are so cute and useful for so many things!! And I've just bought loads of cotton for scrubbies!!
Thank you Denise for making awesome videos! These are so cute can't wait to make these for family for next Christmas haha
Another wonderful pattern, thanks again for the step by step tutorial.
Those look super cute! On a side note, your nails always look so pretty.
Thank YOU. I try to do them before every video. 😘
I can’t wait to make these for gifts! Thank you for the instruction!
Love this how fast it looms up and it is great to use those small balls
I love projects where I can use scrap yarn 😁
Love it Denise!!!! Went to Walmart and bought a big 700 yarder of Peaches and Creme cotton to make some 😁.......🙄🙄🙄🙄 I didn't need to buy any...but the addiction was strong....lol 💚💙🧡💜❤ I love mug rugs!!! I think i will make some bigger placemats
Vaun we’re creative twins my friend- I was thinking the SAME 😘😘😘
I am very much thankful of this channel . I am learning a lot
Thank YOU 🥰
Fabulous!! I love all your patterns. They always turn out great! They are keeping me busy while I nurse my broken foot! Thank you
Oh dear! Feel better and happy knitting.

It’s a bit different from other yarns - no stretch so heads up

Awesome!! Starting now , love the bright colors.
Love ❤️ love my loom
Those are too cute!! I love them!! (And you 💕) Hugs! 😘
These are great Denise and I just bought lots of cotton yarn! Wasn’t sure what I would do with it but now I know. Great tutorial as usual!
This is a pattern I can make while at work, yeah!!!
Cant wait to try
I love this how pretty on the table thank you
Hi Denise I love your patterns I am going to try making it on a rectangular loom
GREAT ! But keep in mind that you will need to block this project to help it look it’s best.
Looks like an adorable project. Great colours too! Thanks so much for sharing this with us.
Love love love it.
Thank YOU 😊
Soooo cute!! Nicely done my friend ❤
How cute! Love this pattern!

How did you know I just bought a heap of cotton? Great as always
I got my eye on you ! 😂
@@LoomaHat 😂😂😂
Got my cotton yarn on sale in anticipation of this video dropping and already thinking how I can make a "cat rug" size version of this :) thank you...this is my after work therapy
A think a cat rug would be awesome 😻- someone else said they were making one.
@@LoomaHat oh great! can't wait to see what everyone makes
This is so cute! I love your videos ❤️ You always make such adorable things and I can't wait to try making them myself!
Thank you for the great pattern
Thank YOU for the thank you !
Lol so cute I love them . Your freaking amazing denise.
Thank YOU Maria 😘
Looking forward to trying thhis. It will give me something else to make aside from potholders. Thank you!
Potholders 😀 I should make some of those !
Oh...I love it 💜
Hi Denise thank you so very much. You are fantastic. Could you use a chain stitch cast on and cast off? thank you again.
You can but keep in mind that you can’t tighten that cast on later- so if you’re using a large gauge loom - it might be a bit loose.
Love these so very cute mug rugs. Hugggggggs
❤❤❤ Thank you!
Thanks so much 4 another wonderful project & making such an informative, awesome video Denise! I was just wondering tho, since this is flat & straight if I should happen 2 try using my long(scarf) loom that has the same guage as my round set, will it still look basically the same(& I would be using the same steps/following your instructions on here,of course)?
Que originales,te han quedado muy bonitos😍😍
Gracias ! Muchos besos! 😘
Your fantastic!!!!
Soo cute!!! I can't wait to make these :)
Thanks I like this
Denise, does it have to be 100% cotton yarn? And thank you for always sharing your talents with all of us!
Thank YOU for the thank you 😊. And no, doesn’t have to be cotton. I’ve used acrylic and it turned out great. I believe any fiber works with this project.
Lovely, thank you :)
Thank you Denise! Should we block the project when it's finished?
Do you think you could come up with a cute golf club cover
Can I use acrylic and other synthetic yarn for this project? Or does it have to be cotton?
This is absolutely adorable and I understand why you chose to create it in cotton but I was wondering if it was OK to make it an acrylic as well or if I should solely stick to a cotton yarn?
You can use acrylic but whenever fluids are involved- cotton is your best bet
Do you think the Bernat Maker Home Dec yarn would be nice for these? These are a 5 weight though. I have 5 skeins of this yarn I thought these might work.
So cute! Can we loomknit a little Llama to put this little rug on? 🤗
oOOh Wow - that is a GREAT idea !
I don't know if I'll get a reply since it's been a while since this was posted, but I am confused.
The first cream colored section on your mug rug is the cast on plus 5 rows. But the second cream colored section (at the end) is only 3 rows plus the cast off. Is that correct? It seems like the cast off side will have a narrower band of the first color.
I noticed this after I made mine. It is noticeable. I'm gonna subtract that extra row of 1st color. Need the knits for second color or you get purl dash.
Hi Denise I just wanted to know if we can do this project on a long loom please help because I just loved this project
Luv it could you share the size thanx
Do you have any other stitches to take the place of purl stitch in this pattern?
YES - but stitch pattern would have to have the same number of multiples if you want an easy substitute. Here is a collection of stitch patterns loomahat.store/collections/stitches
suporte para pratos eu uso quantos pinos? gracias
How do you do that with a boye long loom?
Is there a cast on we can use besides the ewrap? I can never get mine to tighten without looking like a five year old got ahold of it 😭
Hi,when you cast on do you go to the right or the left?
Over time I've gone in both direction. This is old video - I don't recall what I did with this one
Ok thanks
Did anyone else have a hard time with how tight this knit was? I had to start over three times because my yarn would tear apart. I used 100 percent cotton. Really enjoy the pattern though. Just hope I can get through it with this tight knit
Raven are you using the Uwrap or Flat knit?
Can I use wool yarn for this as well?
yes you can
Did you use cotton or acrylic yarn
Hi Kathy - I used cotton.
What brand is this yarn
I like the vedio Excellent 👍😍

Does anyone know how many you can make with the amount of yarn listed in the materials
It’s in the supply list. Look for a link in the description.
Can you do this project on a long loom instead of the round loom??
Yes, as long as it's 5/8-inch gauge.
Denise todo lo que tu haces está bien lindo 😊, quisiera comunicarme contigo, tengo una idea que puede resultar en un patentado.
its a great project but this loop pulling thing is not working out and im very dissapointed.Isnt there a better way?
I love these - they look great! However, I used the same loom and did exactly the same as Denise but my attempt was nothing like hers ☹️. Am I the only one? I’m going to try knitting them on needles, which is a shame because I love the loom 😕.
OOooh no- how do they look different? Did you block them?
I’m sorry Denise, I don’t know what you mean by ‘block’.
I watched more of the video and saw that, until you stretched the project, yours looked similar to mine. I think the reason why mine looked quite so bad is that the yarn I used was too big 🙄. I will try again with something a bit thinner. Thanks for your help ☺️.
Here is a video ua-cam.com/video/THNi1KkmRUg/v-deo.html
Same. I just made one and my cast off was SSOO much wider than the cast on. But I have the feeling it's my yarn, not the pattern. I'm trying another one in a different yarn.
EDIT: cast on was wider, even after pulling the loose loops. The cast OFF was very narrow even compared to the body of the fabric.
Really nice .. can you translate it to Arabic please
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻😍😍
Hi mam can we make this on a long rectangular loom
Yes, definitely - you just need the same amount of pegs.
Love the design but the video quality was a real struggle for me. Especially near the end with it going so so fast AND the camera losing its focus on what was being done... I completely ruined my first mug rug right when I was almost finished 😔
I don;t see any difference with flat knit or u-wrap, other than how you hold it. Is there?
The flat is a tighter stitch. The more you bend the yarn the looser the stitch. That’s why the eWrap , where you completely wrap or bend the yarn around the peg is the largest and the most loose.
Stitches are way too tight. You have to mention the gauge of the loom and the yarn you're using, as well. I tried a few rows and was not impressed with the side edges. I'll be looking for other patterns.
24 peg round looms are 5/8" gauge and by looking at the yarn you can see it's #4- cotton @@ritaschiferl3615
What if your OCD wont let you use odd numbers? I avoid odd numbers like the plague.
No problema my sweet Looma. Cast on 20 pegs and keep rolling.... I mean knitting. 😊
I’d like to send you a picture of a blanket I made on the Zippy Loom. Is there an address I can use for that?

I accidentally used a 5/8 loom. Sigh.
Hi Marian - this project was done using a 5/8 loom. Almost every project I’ve made in the last 2 years have been made using 5/8. I wanted to make sure you didn’t need any specialty looms.
Oh! Mine seems looser- I'm brand new- could my loom be bigger than that?

How did you make your scissor fob see you can keep a needle in it
