Seen some ppl give good feedback on some Frostmoth teams in the VGCPaste Discord to get to Master Ball rank. Might still be a bit early to tell if it'll be comp viable vs the many rain teams we keep seeing.

Frosmoth has long been a fave with it's amazing ability, nice to see it being moderately viable... really liked that one moment where they realize their only answer to it was the Dondozo and you had Rilla right there...
I love that team with the Rotom-Mow/Cut/Grass/Whatever. Reminde me of my favorite early Sword and Shield team. With TailRoom options and imprison on the Gardevoir, I assume...
Frosmoth is definitely one of the top bugs on my squad! I didn’t play much of the restricted regulation since there’s no restricted bug mons but when I did my frosmoth kept all special attackers in check ☑️
I was actually using almost the exact same team, except for sinistea instead of rillabom, some of my moves were also different, i was having a bad time against dondozo, definitely didn't think to run disable encore, i might try it later, other troublesome stuff includes basculegion, volcarona and dragapult.
@@zashinunes8191 Leftovers heals 1/16th of max health every turn, rounded down. So at 160hp, you get 10hp healing (10 x 16 = 160). At 176 you get 11hp healing (11 x 16 = 176). It was probably leftover from Reg G when every ghost had to go normal so they don't just auto-lose to Caly-Shadow. Team creator may be short on tera shards to change it back. That's my guess.
@@zashinunes8191 Considering they went for the safe play with Make it Rain instead of risking the Shadow Ball through redirection, that turn 1 tera makes no sense. Keeping Ghold on field seems questionable anyways, but having anything switch into a potential Population Bomb probably isn't fun either
Don't.. don't give me hope. I love Frostmoth. Beautiful pokemon and cool moves. Hopefully we can make it work!
It does work tho when you see teams of 4 or 5 special attackers like goulhdango and typhloshion
Facts! I don’t even worry about them because frosmoth will become a WALL after one quiver dance.
I think James can make almost any Pokémon work specially on this regulation
