  • Let's chat about using the Cricut Autopress for small business. How will it work if you are doing multiple pieces? What are the benefits and drawbacks? This video is sponsored by Cricut, however, all projects and opinions are my own. I am making several projects today to test the AutoPress when making many of the same item together. Watch this video for tips and tricks for making your projects as quickly as possible with both the AutoPress and the Cricut Explore 3.

    Angie how do you always convince me to buy products. 😫🤣 I was skeptical at first but seriously the autopress may be a great investment.

    I just got my auto press, I am loving that you can press so many items at the same time. It is so easy on my hands and arms, because of the auto open and ease of closing the top of the press.

    I've been saving my credit card points for a heat press using my Amazon card.. I just recently realized I can also use the points as dollars and have started selling some of my very many unused craft supplies to justify purchasing the auto press. I'm more than half way there!! Going to have what I need my May(I can just buy it but this is more fun lol!)

Also maybe a video on using the oh crap I printed too large sublimation oops projects lol. I have quite a few. I’m sure we all do. 🤣❤️

    Hi Angie, thank you for these great vids. One question: For ceramic ornaments do I need to use anything on top to press them or can I put them straight in with just butcher paper? Thanks x

    • @AngieHolden
      @AngieHolden  10 місяців тому

      I find that just butcher paper works well on those. You might read the instructions where you purchased your ornaments to make sure.

    Thank you Angie for yet another great video. I just purchased an Epson ET 8550 along with 13x19 sublimation paper. I’m currently shopping around for a heat press machine and got excited when Cricut came out with the autopress (I have the large easy press). Would I be able to create an “all over large t shirt” with the Cricut autopress? If so, can you do a tutorial on how to go about it?

    • @AngieHolden

      I would say yes but I haven't tried it.

    Hi, I love your videos. How long can I design on DS? I see the Cricut print in a roll. Is it limited to 6.75 x 8.25? Thanks

    • @AngieHolden
      @AngieHolden  2 роки тому +2

      You can design any size. The size you can cut depends on your machine.

    Hi Angie, Thanks for posting this! I have a question regarding how to properly press HTV on the front and back of a t-shirt. Currently i just have the 9x9 easy press and i put a mat inside the shirt, flip it and press both sides. How would the auto-press help my workflow? and is it possible to over-press HTV??? that's something i've always worried about while just using my easy press because one of the logos is larger than 9x9 so i'm moving the press to cover the entire design and also flipping the material back and forth so just always have wondered if you can over-press! Thanks in advance for any input!

    • @AngieHolden
      @AngieHolden  2 роки тому

      It is actually possible to overpress. I would probably put the AP mat inside in that case. Or even an EP mat like I did the tote.

    Have you tried a size 3xl shirt? I wonder if it is easier or harder then a 15x15 press. I do like the round corners. The points on the Tusy. The shirts get stuck

    • @AngieHolden
      @AngieHolden  10 місяців тому +1

      I haven't tried a 3X but I haven't had issues with the sizes I have done.

    Why did you press the coasters with the infusible ink side down? I really wish the press was a little more comparable to traditional presses price wise.

    Have you seen any issues dnldng svg, or png files with cricut design space?
    I've been trying since last Fri, and cricut either crashes, or hangs when I'm in load page.
    I tried calling them yesterday, I'll try again.
    Would like to see a vid about this, if it's happening to others.
    I just bought 3rd maker, and now can't download my designs.
    Love your videos.
    Keep up the good work.
    Thanks

      I just got off the phone. The Cricut rep was helpful, and had the same problems with PNG and SVG files. I'm using a font from Creative Fabrica, and it's possible that's what Design Space is having issue with. The font is called Abella, for anyone reading this.
      Thanks for responding, and I hope no one else is having this issue.

    I notice you don’t use a Teflon sheet. I thought it was necessary in pressing?

    • @AngieHolden
      @AngieHolden  2 роки тому

      Not needed for using HTV that has a carrier sheet unless what you are pressing to needs protection from the heat.
