They should have shown us footage of the original game and not portable. I remember Persona 2 having bad controls. I don't quite remember what was wrong with it but it wasn't as simple as Persona 3 even though I eventually figured it out. Did PSP versions of the older titles fix that?
Honorable Mentions: *Social Links -In the original, it was possible to break social links if you neglected them for too long or pick certain dialogue options. Here, not only has that been removed, but criteria for reversing them have been mellowed. This means while it IS still possible to reverse social links, you can still go through them at your own pace like in 4 and 5.
There was also the Jealousy Mechanic with P3s female social links. After the first one, occasionally you would pass by an ongoing female social link, which started a ticking timer that, if not stopped by finishing the one you were on or the S-link you were spotted by, if that hidden counter hit 0 your S-link would potentially reverse or, worse, break outright and you would have to spend time un-reversing it or the link would be completely unsalvageable until your NG+ playthrough
And that's a BAD THING. OGP3 was all about thwarting mankind's twisted desire to end everything before the appointed time. Which was the ENTIRE THEME of OGP3; DEATH and the WILL TO LIVE.
Was fatigue that bad? I remembee dealing with it at the start, party members would fatigue quickly. But two or three full moons in, I don't even encountering again except for when party members died too often.
Its basically a case of minor annoyances that grated people`s attentions, especially if they didnt practice the art of `Save Scumming` where plenty of `older games` that didnt have things like auto save or the ability to save whenever and even `restart from the beginning of the battle` to deal with a bad roll, due to units having lowered stats, which further grate attentions in the original persona 3, though less of a hassle when you can command them to follow orders in later versions of persona 3 and the other entries basically being less on those bits. At the very least it felt more `organic` that you could actually get punished for sticking with the same cast constantly or even forcing too much cheese grind spam in single runs, which was why stuff like the Reaper and plenty of other dungeon-centric games included to prevent infinite grund-scumming. Game design back in the era of PS2 VS now a days has definitely changed in loads of ways.
I've only played P3P on Steam so my experience is limited, but it wasn't really an issue at all. Semi-careful timing of your dungeon runs, plus the occasional energy drink, totally bypassed the issue. You could argue it was a little bit of busy work, but was so easily managed it was a total non-factor.
Having fatigue was an actual benefit. If you went to see the school nurse, he would give you medicine. If you took it, your courage increases with no negatives.
yeah, wasn't the biggest deal, really. unlike p5, you weren't necessarily trying to rush doing the content at once, because it's not like you were wasting social sim upgrade time, at midnight, unlike p5 where it was either afternoon shit, or something that would boost other stuff. earlier might warrant multiple trips in a few month's time, but later, it'd basically be like doing 20 floors, and just swap to the b team, rather than truly be 'problematic' for most people.
@@BladeSerphidk man I played a lot of PS2 games that focused on being fun, and that fatigue mechanic just sounds like a lame mechanic that could make the game a chore playing and I’m glad it’s no longer in the series. Final Fantasy 10 was a great 2001 ps2 game that didn’t have annoying mechanics like that and u could even use every character in battle not just the main character
I don’t even want to hear that a lot of the original voice actors wouldn’t sound the same. If the original Japanese cast can return after 20 years and that’s not a problem, so could have the original American cast.
The problem is that one of them(Vic M) likely wouldn't because of recent controversy. I imagine some of the OG cast probably didn't want to come back if the whole roster wasn't.
As someone who only played P4G A FEW DIFFERENT TIMES to get that perfect ending once! I love the music and darker tone of P3 and reloaded looks like the perfect time to jump in. I have seen the ending, little clips of it both the whole thing so I’m most excited for the ending and the music!
6:58 For any new players, don't let the omission of "The Answer" discourage you from feeling like you're missing out. The Answer is pretty unanimously disliked by the community because it was very grindy/boring, and the story regressed some of the characters development for the sake of drama. So it being omitted from this release isn't the worst thing ever. That being said, if they do eventually make it a DLC or Golden/Royal rerelease, they could do a complete rework of it and fix the issues it has.
I believe The Answer is already confirmed for DLC. Because of that I'm waiting for a discount before buying the game, I'm not paying a possible $100 just to get an "upgraded" FES.
The Answer is the worst shit ever. You have to fight your own teammates. It hurts me a lot to see Koromaru get hurt by me (aigis). I just cant continue playing on that part. The Answer is just so bad because no more social link or stuff that makes persona game a persona game
@@EyeofKoruption i hope so. I actually dissappointed with reload. Everything about the story dialogue is exactly the same as original. Tartarus is still random shit like mementos on p5. But at least p5 has palaces and u can jump around and do detective stuff or something. They could have introduce new slink character or some prequel stories about aigis or something. But P3 reload is almost the same as original but they charge us 70 dollars for it. And thats without all those dlc and now they going to charge for the answer too.
They change a bit of the story as well. Junpei was more jealous of MC in the original P3 game and wanted to stand out on his own, but now he is super buddy-buddy with him. I remember because he was that much of an a-hole that I removed him from my party when party members were available.
Didn't he apologize after the train mission. Also yea og junpei was an asshole, though if you chose femc on p3p he would be less harsh on ya which I find to be nice (even though it required mitsurus guidence)
@@Kiko_mirai Yes, but I believe it was a little later than he did in the story if memory serves me right. It has been a long time, so memory isn't 100% here. Though I believe it still took him a little while after the incident to stop his grieving with not being the leader.

Why do you keep alluding to Persona 5/Royal when P3P, also released on PC, also had several of the features? Persona is more than 5, in the same way the main SMT series is more than 4.
Perhaps, but 5 had something about it and probably why it has had three sequels/spinoff that aren't dancing games or whatever those 3ds games were. Final Fantasy is more than VII, but we all know what the face of the series is.
@@questworldmatrix I don't like P5, but out of all of the Persona games, I can say it gives the most control and be as fast as you want. The other Persona games are slower and feels stiff in comparison. I just with the quality of the spinoff games remained consistent... *cough* PQ2, P3 & P5 Dancing *couch*

I would have made some more changes -Putting Makoto and Kotone together, after the initial choice of the protagonist (the only one with multiple summons), the other is a Sees member and confidant -New personas for the non-protagonist, also Kotone his Orpheus is called like a muse and Thanatos also had a sister, Keres the goddess of violent deaths and fallen warriors -As confidants Makoto is Hanged in her route and Kotone Temperance in the other Ken will not be a romantic story - Improve the tower with traps and elemental planes such as fire, water or ice -Incorporate minigames into school activities (after watching Phantom X) As a third sport for Kotone, rhythmic gymnastics, if he is in a swimsuit, she in a leotard..
I know in old Persona 3 you didn't have Social Links with any of your male party members because every Social Link with a female character resulted in MANDATORY romance. It really bogged down the game when you progressed far enough in a girls Social Link you were locked into them until you maxed the Link because if you interacted with other girls they'd get mad lock the Social Link forcing you to waste days unlocking it.
Ive played about four hours today. Ive played a little of the remastered version, but I only started it. I can tell I'll be putting in a lot of hours in this.
No they haven't Reload is just a prettier version of the PS2 game. FF 7 Remake is a great example of a remake. New Content but keeping most of the core story

I love this game. As someone who onece aspiring to be a graphic designer / game designer, this make me rethink this was what made me once wanted to be one. Even though its was a long lost dream, i am glad enough i can enjoy this game as a player
I dont mind with the new VAs. I started out with the original and of course amazing but to have them revoice again will be different considering its been years. Its like final fantasy 7 remake with new VAs and they still did a great job. Im just happy to getting back to this game. My favorite of the series
First persona game I tried, Persona 3 Portable on psp.. that was some good ol time, my favorite scenes always during summer vacation and equipping yukari/mitsuru with battle panties lol 😂
Can't play it sadly since i've got it from the game pass. And if you download the game in there everything (and i mean) Everything is in Chinese texture bit lame. I have no idea how to fix it did already a few looks up but all ended up in loose hopes.
Honestly liking it so far and yes I'm a persona virgin, I started on five royal but I bought this and went ahead and bought persona 4 as well because I heard how good they were. So far pretty good even though I'm still in the beginning, like floor 15 in tartar sauce so haven't seen anything yet but I heard how crazy it gets. There are obviously a few bugs to fix like Yukari's bow going backwards during attack animations but the game was just released and it's nothing too game breaking so no biggie. Tbh I didn't necessarily watch the video as I wouldn't know what the original thing was and I never played this game so... but I'm willing to check out the rest once I beat it or get far in it.

No you dont the female version doesn't change anything beside some dialogue choices. And the Answer has been data mined so it will probably be a DLC since the Answer is long its about 25-30 hours extra gameplay.

I don’t mind the new voice acting but I wish they’d used the original music. They redid the music and it doesn’t have the same impact. Music makes the nostalgia.
It was only the main character, who can change weapons but also why would they remove that ? In reality I’m likely going to equip whatever has the largest numbers which would either be single handed swords or two-handed swords. The result would be the same but I would still like the option
Persona 3's boss battles were far from just being hp sponges. They were more like puzzles. This review is strange on this regard. The weapon shifting was only for MC too.
If i recall correctly, i had no idea what the spells and abilities were when i first played P3 since it was my first Shin Megami Tensei game. I dont recall good descriptions of the attacks in the original. My first memory of the game was "what's Agi???" Lol
I'm enjoying the game so far. It's very nostalgic, as my first Persona game was 3. The changes do make the game easier, but i like them because i dont have as much time as i did in high school. Although the challenge isn't there, i still have good memories of the original. My main gripe with Reload is the high price tag. I will say that P4 and P5 did a better job with party member development. I remember wishing some of the social links in P3 were reserved for the male party members since they are skipped in favor of a harem and randos. I'd recommend this if you are feeling nostalgic and have the cash for it. Otherwise, you should wait for a price drop or pass on it.
Tired of all they doing is leeching off their previously overhyped style and works AKA P5 they didn't even brother to change it beside the blue theme and adding water motifs... without those everything is literally Persona 5... Also this is slightly inaccurate as foe the Japanese cast is the same and Elizabeth's English VA is returning(?)
Their track record says that they will do just that in a few years. Persona 3, Persona 3 FES, Persona 3 Portable, Persona 3 Reloaded. Wonder what they’ll call the new complete version in a few years.
Gonna pass on this until the eventual “Reloaded and Ready” version launches lol. I love Altus but we all know the real game is after their 2nd release of the main entry. Though for P3 they may not do it but I have my doubts about it. I think they know they can just keep printing money by releasing the P3P version as well.
I would love to play this day one but I got the feeling they’re going to realize an ultimate version at some point for full price same as they did with P5 which piss me off till today. So I’ll wait patiently for the full version to come out

This has me wondering if Persona 4 will get a remake too. I know Persona 4 Golden is available on the PlayStation Store now, but with Persona 3 getting this remake treatment why not complete the trilogy with 4 too?
I thought Yuri Lowenthal is voicing Yukari's dad and the former actor of Shinji voices Mitsuru's father. Akihiko's voice sounds very different to me. Junpei and Mitsuru are almost spot on. Aegis also sounds less robotic. Persona 3 is almost 20 years old? Old 👴... If Michelle Ruff still sounds like she did in Persona 5 then she could still voice Yukari. Yuri Lowenthal and whoever voiced Shinji probably could too. Who did the characters voice in Tears of the Kingdom? PERSONA! It sucks not being able to control other characters. Persona 4 and Persona 3 Portable fixed this. You should be showing us footage of the original Persona 3 and not Portable since the Portable version fixed that issue. I find myself playing the Persona 4 or 5 music when in battle. Come to think about it I have not heard Snow Queen or Maya's theme. I prefer to hear alternate music when traveling through Tartarus. Was the original Monad door the place where you fight Elizabeth? I hope The Answer is released as DLC. Having no fatigue is convenient. There actually was a time where I went to Tartarus and I didn't realize that everyone in my party except me was still fatigued for some reason. Seriously if the main character got a chance to rest up I see no reason why everyone else would be the same. It's not like Junpei is that hard of a worker. 8:47 I NEED YOUR HALP!
Yep beside Monarch and fatigue removal,it's a downgrade. There shouldn't be 3 versions of this game that you need to play in order to finish the story. Can't wait for the next 3 versions that add and remove a mixture of features.
Worst thing about reload so far: 1- Aki sounds like middle age man 2- No more “But you’re unreliable” to Mitsuru 3- They remove sissy trans on the beach event because fear of homophobic 4- They fucked up “Da da daaa da” part on Master of Tartarus soundtrack and Memories of City sound a lot worse. 5- I realise Persona 3 much much more inferior to Persona 5 , Tartarus is still very fatiguing because it still the same thing again and again , u have to run around again and again.
People should know that Reload's script has changed about 30% of the dialog. It is a huge downgrade and the characters lack so much personality that made the OG great
Throw in the potential chance of this one getting the `Golden` or `Royal` treatment, when the original one had TWO remakes between Portable & FES, one could easily expect despite the fact they did not `include` `The Answer`, that it could be forced in later as a DLC upgrade alongside re-releasing the game with additions, such as maybe even a new story for an extended story with Door-kun, since all the extended stories of P3 thru 5 definitely aimed for those pushing the roof even higher.
This is literally why I'm considering not getting it...a remake where the changes aren't the biggest doesn't feel like it should be full price especially when it's free on game pass but we'll see

How the fuck does "time" have anything to do with a literal physical burden?? You could get fatigued doing some things in a very short amount of time, too. That is just a mentally [redacted] explanation. The theme of time in the OG had nothing meaningful, story-wise or artistically, to do with that moronic mechanic, it was literally just meant to make things annoyingly tedious, not a difficulty to overcome. I didnt mind the fatigue system in p3 because i use every character in every JRPG i play anyways so this never bothered me, its a good way to add variety to the JRPGs i play, that way i dont get bored or burnt out by using the same boring party throughout the entire game, thats why the idea of mains is a foreign concept to me
So this is an easy verson of the original.....yeah i already hate it i feel like the golden or enhanced versions make the game too easy and boring its kinda why ive given up on the franchise as a whole. Dont get me wrong its a great series of games but it was the fatigue and mishaps that made the game challenging and more fun.

The only thing they did, as far as I know, is remove an unnamed trans-coded (or GNC? Im not 100% sure) side character, whose original intention was to be a 150% the butt of a joke with some Japanese-style absurdity-humor joke of "HUUUUUH? youre not a GIRRRRRL? RUN AWAY!" sort of vibe while at the beach, because by today's standards that's pretty darn distasteful.

@@KeithElliott-zd8cx I played 3-5, and 3 obviously had no idea about how to properly do the Persona formula yet. Also the story was presented horribly, none of the arcs of characters were given enough or proper screen time to have any kind of meaning, and after their arc ends, they’re just people who talk and stretch out conversations to an unnecessary and tedious length. Also it doesn’t help that most of them are either boring and/or overused stereotypes they did absolutely nothing to spice up. Persona 5 didn’t do this, since the characters all added their own spice into a conversation. And Persona 4 had a lot of… offensive stuff going on like sexism, homophobia, pedophilia, but you know what? I’ll take that over boring, because at least it’s memorable, and at least they tried being funny, even if it sometimes ends up being the most horrible kind of humor. I can’t imagine Persona 3 Reload being good at all if they don’t change the game from the ground up and make it unrecognizable. The dialogues and the characters need a LOT of reworking to a point where they need separate wiki entries from the original characters, and give the villains just more room to be intimidating, man, come on. Even the old Final Fantasy games managed to do a better job at building up characters and villains alike. Now I won’t say too much about the gameplay because apparently it’s been changed to be like Persona 5s, which is good cus the old gameplay was ass, but they better change up Tartarus big time. Give it a better theme song which doesn’t sound like the sound designers just gave up (seriously, no amount of rework can save the tediousness of the Tartarus track) and just make it more appealing to go through. I literally played through Persona 5 three times in a row (for completions sake) and going through Mementos NEVER became boring. So Tartarus doesn’t have an excuse to not be good in this Remake I should also mention that I never played Doom, so shut your trap. Can’t you just accept that Persona 3 is bad instead of shaming the people who don’t like it? There’s barely anything worse a fan can do, you’re just like all those Final Fantasy 2 and 13 Stans who blame everyone else for their game not being popular, except yours somehow avoided that fate for no reason at all. If I had one yen for every time someone told me I didn’t like P3 just because I’m not used to old games or games like this, I could buy Atlus AND Sega and force them to burn every copy of this stupid game and Reload

is it just me that was okay with the party commands? like i just played the fes version just recently on original hardware on hard new game 1, and didnt have a problem telling my team to do what i want them to do. like it was the same with ashley from RE4 original, like people had so many problems with them but when i played it i played it within the rules of the game and used ashley or put ashley in a safe place. it really wasnt bad but since you're playing with another set of rules unlike other games people all hate it and cry. same with people crying when players hopped from persona 5 to SMTV thinking they were the same
I still don't understand why supposed missing content has fans irked or it is an actual point in a video about 'biggest changes missing in P3R'. I never expected it to be there, because Atlus had made very clear this was a remake for Persona 3. And both the answer or a female protagonist weren't in there, so I wasn't expecting them to be in the remake for Persona 3. So I don't understand what is there to be irked about. You may hope to get more than what was promised, but getting 'irked' about not getting more than promised seems just childish and kinda stupid to me. And I heard that people outright refused to play or buy the game because they didn't get the Portable female protagonist and/or the answer from FES into the remake of the original Persona 3.

yeah, wasn't the biggest deal, really. unlike p5, you weren't necessarily trying to rush doing the content at once, because it's not like you were wasting social sim upgrade time, at midnight, unlike p5 where it was either afternoon shit, or something that would boost other stuff.
earlier might warrant multiple trips in a few month's time, but later, it'd basically be like doing 20 floors, and just swap to the b team, rather than truly be 'problematic' for most people.

A FEW DIFFERENT TIMES to get that perfect ending once! I love the music and darker tone of P3 and reloaded looks like the perfect time to jump in. I have seen the ending, little clips of it both the whole thing so I’m most excited for the ending and the music!
6:58 For any new players, don't let the omission of "The Answer" discourage you from feeling like you're missing out. The Answer is pretty unanimously disliked by the community because it was very grindy/boring, and the story regressed some of the characters development for the sake of drama. So it being omitted from this release isn't the worst thing ever. That being said, if they do eventually make it a DLC or Golden/Royal rerelease, they could do a complete rework of it and fix the issues it has.
I believe The Answer is already confirmed for DLC. Because of that I'm waiting for a discount before buying the game, I'm not paying a possible $100 just to get an "upgraded" FES.
The Answer is the worst shit ever. You have to fight your own teammates. It hurts me a lot to see Koromaru get hurt by me (aigis). I just cant continue playing on that part. The Answer is just so bad because no more social link or stuff that makes persona game a persona game

They change a bit of the story as well. Junpei was more jealous of MC in the original P3 game and wanted to stand out on his own, but now he is super buddy-buddy with him.

@@Kiko_mirai Yes, but I believe it was a little later than he did in the story if memory serves me right. It has been a long time, so memory isn't 100% here. Though I believe it still took him a little while after the incident to stop his grieving with not being the leader.

-Putting Makoto and Kotone together, after the initial choice of the protagonist (the only one with multiple summons), the other is a Sees member and confidant
-New personas for the non-protagonist, also Kotone his Orpheus is called like a muse and Thanatos also had a sister, Keres the goddess of violent deaths and fallen warriors
-As confidants Makoto is Hanged in her route and Kotone Temperance in the other Ken will not be a romantic story
- Improve the tower with traps and elemental planes such as fire, water or ice
-Incorporate minigames into school activities (after watching Phantom X) As a third sport for Kotone, rhythmic gymnastics, if he is in a swimsuit, she in a leotard..
I know in old Persona 3 you didn't have Social Links with any of your male party members because every Social Link with a female character resulted in MANDATORY romance. It really bogged down the game when you progressed far enough in a girls Social Link you were locked into them until you maxed the Link because if you interacted with other girls they'd get mad lock the Social Link forcing you to waste days unlocking it.

Honestly liking it so far and yes I'm a persona virgin, I started on five royal but I bought this and went ahead and bought persona 4 as well because I heard how good they were. So far pretty good even though I'm still in the beginning, like floor 15 in tartar sauce so haven't seen anything yet but I heard how crazy it gets. There are obviously a few bugs to fix like Yukari's bow going backwards during attack animations but the game was just released and it's nothing too game breaking so no biggie.
Tbh I didn't necessarily watch the video as I wouldn't know what the original thing was and I never played this game so... but I'm willing to check out the rest once I beat it or get far in it.

No you dont the female version doesn't change anything beside some dialogue choices.
And the Answer has been data mined so it will probably be a DLC since the Answer is long its about 25-30 hours extra gameplay.

It was only the main character, who can change weapons but also why would they remove that ? In reality I’m likely going to equip whatever has the largest numbers which would either be single handed swords or two-handed swords. The result would be the same but I would still like the option
Persona 3's boss battles were far from just being hp sponges. They were more like puzzles. This review is strange on this regard. The weapon shifting was only for MC too.
If i recall correctly, i had no idea what the spells and abilities were when i first played P3 since it was my first Shin Megami Tensei game. I dont recall good descriptions of the attacks in the original.

I'm enjoying the game so far. It's very nostalgic, as my first Persona game was 3. The changes do make the game easier, but i like them because i dont have as much time as i did in high school.
Although the challenge isn't there, i still have good memories of the original. My main gripe with Reload is the high price tag.
I will say that P4 and P5 did a better job with party member development. I remember wishing some of the social links in P3 were reserved for the male party members since they are skipped in favor of a harem and randos.
I'd recommend this if you are feeling nostalgic and have the cash for it. Otherwise, you should wait for a price drop or pass on it.

Gonna pass on this until the eventual “Reloaded and Ready” version launches lol. I love Altus but we all know the real game is after their 2nd release of the main entry. Though for P3 they may not do it but I have my doubts about it. I think they know they can just keep printing money by releasing the P3P version as well.

I thought Yuri Lowenthal is voicing Yukari's dad and the former actor of Shinji voices Mitsuru's father. Akihiko's voice sounds very different to me. Junpei and Mitsuru are almost spot on. Aegis also sounds less robotic. Persona 3 is almost 20 years old? Old 👴... If Michelle Ruff still sounds like she did in Persona 5 then she could still voice Yukari. Yuri Lowenthal and whoever voiced Shinji probably could too.

It sucks not being able to control other characters. Persona 4 and Persona 3 Portable fixed this. You should be showing us footage of the original Persona 3 and not Portable since the Portable version fixed that issue.
I find myself playing the Persona 4 or 5 music when in battle. Come to think about it I have not heard Snow Queen or Maya's theme. I prefer to hear alternate music when traveling through Tartarus.

Having no fatigue is convenient. There actually was a time where I went to Tartarus and I didn't realize that everyone in my party except me was still fatigued for some reason. Seriously if the main character got a chance to rest up I see no reason why everyone else would be the same. It's not like Junpei is that hard of a worker. 8:47 I NEED YOUR HALP!
To be fair... the UI for the original persona 3 was pretty good. Fast. Persona has always been great at this, and Royal and Reload don't hold back.

Worst thing about reload so far:
1- Aki sounds like middle age man
2- No more “But you’re unreliable” to Mitsuru
3- They remove sissy trans on the beach event because fear of homophobic
4- They fucked up “Da da daaa da” part on Master of Tartarus soundtrack and Memories of City sound a lot worse.
5- I realise Persona 3 much much more inferior to Persona 5 , Tartarus is still very fatiguing because it still the same thing again and again , u have to run around again and again.
People should know that Reload's script has changed about 30% of the dialog. It is a huge downgrade and the characters lack so much personality that made the OG great

Throw in the potential chance of this one getting the `Golden` or `Royal` treatment, when the original one had TWO remakes between Portable & FES, one could easily expect despite the fact they did not `include` `The Answer`, that it could be forced in later as a DLC upgrade alongside re-releasing the game with additions, such as maybe even a new story for an extended story with Door-kun, since all the extended stories of P3 thru 5 definitely aimed for those pushing the roof even higher.

I didnt mind the fatigue system in p3 because i use every character in every JRPG i play anyways so this never bothered me, its a good way to add variety to the JRPGs i play, that way i dont get bored or burnt out by using the same boring party throughout the entire game, thats why the idea of mains is a foreign concept to me
So this is an easy verson of the original.....yeah i already hate it i feel like the golden or enhanced versions make the game too easy and boring its kinda why ive given up on the franchise as a whole.

The only thing they did, as far as I know, is remove an unnamed trans-coded (or GNC? Im not 100% sure) side character, whose original intention was to be a 150% the butt of a joke with some Japanese-style absurdity-humor joke of "HUUUUUH? youre not a GIRRRRRL? RUN AWAY!" sort of vibe while at the beach, because by today's standards that's pretty darn distasteful.

Also the story was presented horribly, none of the arcs of characters were given enough or proper screen time to have any kind of meaning, and after their arc ends, they’re just people who talk and stretch out conversations to an unnecessary and tedious length. Also it doesn’t help that most of them are either boring and/or overused stereotypes they did absolutely nothing to spice up. Persona 5 didn’t do this, since the characters all added their own spice into a conversation. And Persona 4 had a lot of… offensive stuff going on like sexism, homophobia, pedophilia, but you know what? I’ll take that over boring, because at least it’s memorable, and at least they tried being funny, even if it sometimes ends up being the most horrible kind of humor. I can’t imagine Persona 3 Reload being good at all if they don’t change the game from the ground up and make it unrecognizable. The dialogues and the characters need a LOT of reworking to a point where they need separate wiki entries from the original characters, and give the villains just more room to be intimidating, man, come on. Even the old Final Fantasy games managed to do a better job at building up characters and villains alike. Now I won’t say too much about the gameplay because apparently it’s been changed to be like Persona 5s, which is good cus the old gameplay was ass, but they better change up Tartarus big time. Give it a better theme song which doesn’t sound like the sound designers just gave up (seriously, no amount of rework can save the tediousness of the Tartarus track) and just make it more appealing to go through. I literally played through Persona 5 three times in a row (for completions sake) and going through Mementos NEVER became boring. So Tartarus doesn’t have an excuse to not be good in this Remake
I should also mention that I never played Doom, so shut your trap. Can’t you just accept that Persona 3 is bad instead of shaming the people who don’t like it? There’s barely anything worse a fan can do, you’re just like all those Final Fantasy 2 and 13 Stans who blame everyone else for their game not being popular, except yours somehow avoided that fate for no reason at all. If I had one yen for every time someone told me I didn’t like P3 just because I’m not used to old games or games like this, I could buy Atlus AND Sega and force them to burn every copy of this stupid game and Reload

is it just me that was okay with the party commands? like i just played the fes version just recently on original hardware on hard new game 1, and didnt have a problem telling my team to do what i want them to do. like it was the same with ashley from RE4 original, like people had so many problems with them but when i played it i played it within the rules of the game and used ashley or put ashley in a safe place. it really wasnt bad but since you're playing with another set of rules unlike other games people all hate it and cry. same with people crying when players hopped from persona 5 to SMTV thinking they were the same

I still don't understand why supposed missing content has fans irked or it is an actual point in a video about 'biggest changes missing in P3R'. I never expected it to be there, because Atlus had made very clear this was a remake for Persona 3. And both the answer or a female protagonist weren't in there, so I wasn't expecting them to be in the remake for Persona 3. So I don't understand what is there to be irked about. You may hope to get more than what was promised, but getting 'irked' about not getting more than promised seems just childish and kinda stupid to me. And I heard that people outright refused to play or buy the game because they didn't get the Portable female protagonist and/or the answer from FES into the remake of the original Persona 3.
