When I used to work on dozers or machines with tracks the first thing we did was pressure wash the area where we were working, makes life so much easier, dirt and grease make a hell of mess, much easier to see what you are doing when the dirt is gone. Not possible if we were in the field but a must when in the workshop.
🔧Thank you. 50 yrs ago, whip smart old man had 700ac farm nxt to ours. Laid dead Cat tracks across a big creek as a crossing bottom & could drive trucks & tractors across without fear. Rinsed dirt & winter road salt like a dream. He was WWII vet, one arm, never knew him to break a sweat. Used to bird hunt with him, he could walk my college legs off. Beyond tough. Miss him. God bless you & God bless America. TFS
I really enjoy your equipment and project videos. There are already a ton of other channels about hunting fishing and wildlife. Hate to see your content change
best use for used track is to keep as an emergency spare lol. I've seen a brand new track come apart and defect. nice to have a spare to get by on
now that you cut yours....... raised bed, pads to throw down and drive your dozer on so as not to mess up concrete or trailer decking ext
I really want to see you and Wally fixing things and will it start videos I'm not into fishing or hunting I prefer it just you two it's not the same without you two together 😢
Those were good days. But seasons come and seasons go. Me and Wiley are still good buddies and I know he appreciates you watching his videos!
🔧🛠🔧🤠 I'm with you bud. What a job on a hot day.
I am really looking forward to you doing hunting and fishing. Hopefully you will still mix in videos like this as well. You are a great dude with a great personality. Keep up the great work keeping us entertained! God bless you and your family!
Thank you!
USE YOUR MACHINE OR ASK SOMEONE WHO DOES IT EVERY WEEK, YOU ARE DOING IT THE HARDEST WAY POSSIBLE!!!!
🔧 That went easier than the last time. Good job everybody! 😎
Sure did.
Always get the back on the sprocket and roller first. Push that front idler into the rail after removing the bleeder for the tensioner ram. This allows the front end of the track to swing right into place.
Awesome job Hank I new you could do it it is just finding a to do buy yourself.
Wow new tracks all ready I will stay with tire machines and use over tire tracks
Those are winter tracks we use them in minnesota all the time for winter.
Good job and God bless y'all
The struggle was real today! Good job by everyone!!
We bought a track from them a few months ago, they are very nice. Highly recommend.
🔧🛠️ used track. Bridge on soft mud path.. lots of uses on a farm..
Yeah I'll use them to fill in ruts I think
That was pretty cool! 🔧🔧🚜
There isn't any of it that looks easy of putting those new tracks on that front loader, Hank lol.
That sounds Great...
Looking good!
Howboutcha! If you were to put a ratchet strap or a chain and handyman jack around the track, could you remove a plug give a squeeze and shorten up the adjuster? I'm thinking wrestling the new track on would go easier if the adjuster was shorter.
Hey Hank when you had the track on the top of sprocket and front roller might put it in reverse try to make easier by yourself I have tried that and worked great
Go Hank awesome job
Love this channel!! 👍
You should have put wooden blocks under the skid steer in the front so if the bucket rams licking past the seals. Just magen if you didn't have a tractor or something else to lift it up so you could open the door
True!
Great job Hank,
You are persistent for sure, glad the wife was able to take the controls.
Heck those old ones havent been on long.what a waste of rubber.they should make steel ones.snooky pa.❤😂😂😂😂😂
🍾 Good job
Glad you got that job done Hank good video
Use oil to clean out those fittings.
Nice glad u are going in a different direction
Good work
Everyone I have seen replaced before the tool that was used to cut the trac was a grinder.
Doing a great job!! Keep it up!!
Didn't think those current tracks were that old. I remember when you and Wiley changed them.
That was on the T250. Different machine.
🔧
Nice solo job Hank 😊
Good ur learning
well that sucks that you are going away from the trucks and equipment oh well
Yeah it’s a real shame
I know I'll lose some subs, but spending time hanging out with my granddaughters is the most important thing.
@HamiltonvilleFarm family first that's 100 percent.as for me I'm not going anywhere I'm still going to watch
Boy I tell you what Hank I bet you you had fun doing this job didn't you man getting these new tracks on I'm surprised this time you really didn't have a helping hand while doing this though dude cuz I know how much trouble you had putting those other tracks on
so you went from a will it start channel to a quasi construction/maint channel and now you are abandoning what made your channel and going to what amounts to a hunting vlog like channel ? welp guess that means less to watch i wont un sub or anything like that but i have 0 interest in hunting
what made my channel big was tractor videos. Thats the content that really took off when my channel started to grow. (Got to 156k subs less than 2 years) The will it start content maintained that and continued that success. That's why I started the second channel "Hank Hamilton" so I could get back to my roots and do tractor content.
😊
Someone who doesn't like hunting but rather spend alot of money on meat and prices are ridiculous 🙄 😒 if you were a farmer, hunter or a fisherman you would literally understand I have not brought meat, milk, eggs or vegetables in like 25yrs and I probably haven't stepped foot in a grocery store for about 12yrs cause I'm a busy, busy man my wife and kids do all the shopping lol
So you're going from will it start stuff to hunting and fishing and trapping?
Sadly yes shame really
Yep. We are going in a different direction for the channel starting next month. Happy to have you stay with us.
Good job Hank and Tommy
Put a wood block under the track to get it on the machine
🔧🔧🔧 doing awesome job hank
Your bucket is creeping down don't rely on the bucket push it up and block the body of the bobcat and you door won't get stuck closed
Hey take your forks and push in your front roller and the tracks will fall on
I been told if you tilt the cab b4 you start taken tracks off its much more fun cause u just tilted the cab 🎉
🔧 well done!
🔧
By the time you get this comment u'll probably already have it done.
@17:13 Hank, Idk anything about putting tracks on.
But what I suggest is putting ur fork under the bottom of the track then working it on.
Yo Hank i think you should sell that John Deere 450J because of the shape it's in and buy a brand new CAT D3 or a D1
Dp put new tracks on the skidster ❤❤❤
I feel bad for you.Have to change that track out in the garage on the concrete.A lot nicer and lot easi changed many tracks And now my body's telling me so.
At fifty seven i'm pretty damn sore I got forced into retirement by my doctors. They didn't quite like the shape of my body
They are nice tracks
Chainsaw with chisel tooth for old track removal..
Tractor and machinery safety 101, NEVER work on anything that is suspended by hydraulics, best way to get a smack on the back of the head from the forman (early 1970's) when I was an apprentice was to walk under anything only supported by hydraulics, he had seen people killed by faulty hydraulic equipment and he didn't want to see another. At the time I thought that he was pretty mean but his advice probably saved my life.
🔧👍...you got it Dude...
People would have paid good money for those old tracks
I really hate to see your content change 2 hunting and fishing I really enjoyed your content that you've done from day one I understand you want to spend time with your granddaughters but it seems like they also enjoyed it doing the stuff you been doing with them
ig you'll have to repack the hydraulics on the lift cylinders on the Bobcat hopefully it's not the hydraulic pump 😔 it sounds like you need new zert's
Don’t forget with the tracks being new they will need to be tightened up again
Would have been nice to have some help 🔧
Thanks for many months you've given me in watching your Channel. But I've got used to your first concept with you and Wiley. Finding and seeking old equipment seeing if you guys can get it started. That was very excitable and desirable for us old dudes. Now your new concept is about Farm Life. Don't get me wrong I think it's wonderful for people who enjoy it. I do wish you the very best. But I must unsubscribe because I'm not into Farm Life. And I will continue watching don't be Wiley. I were hoping you two guys would have stayed together as friends and continue to be adventurous. It was fun to watch you two guys together. God bless and the very best to you the farm and the girls. ❤&✌️
🛠
Hank when are you going to try out a Case Minotaur, we can set you up🔧 tidewater
If everything is going smoothly you know something is bound to happen 😂
True!
Circular saw with a metal cutting blade works better, but a Sawzall works too.
I wouldn't cut them may need a spare later
Just get in and drive the track on
i don't like the manual grease guns they're a pain
Tracks don't take 15 mind to put on I work with heavy equipment for many, yes I have done many by myself
I been humming that Old tune “No buddy knows the Troubles I SEEN…” 🥵… 🔧 wooow this is definitely a 2 person job, ? (Also) I’m thinking someone at over TYM marketing Dept 🤓 is trying to figure out how to show this in showrooms to help explain to buyers why 2 Tractors might just better than One 😉👍 Love watching these !! Great know-how getting passed along to those of Us who will eventually 🤞 have a skid-steer added to our equipment shed on the homestead.
Painful to watch , we changed ours out and put on new sprockets and idlers in about 25 minutes per side.

Hanks are you still going to have your other channel since you are going to be doing other stuff with this one
yes sir.
@@HamiltonvilleFarm OK thanks for answering my question
Raised Garden Beds
You’re going to blow a hemorrhoid out of your butt pulling on that 😂
Use a Chainsaw 😂
🔧 When are you bringing the jokes😆and music references back to the channel?
🔧💪
It seems that you do things the hard way take a little time to think things out before doing something that you are not sure about it works
Must not own a power washer and I would have not cut tracks keep them for a spare set just me
👍👍👍🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸❤️❤️
🔧🔧🔧🔧🔧🔧🔧🔧🔧🔧🔧
🔧🔧🔧🔧🔧🔧
The track needs to be titer
Sure is alota tools in here lol lol
wrench 🔧
Yeah I'm still here I just don't have a wrench emoji
Why do you not ever lean that dit off before doing tracks ? Lol
🤦♂️🔧🔧
Wrench 🔧
So you and Wiley aren't doing anything together anymore
We haven't filmed together since March or April. But we are still good friends. Make sure you're watching his content too. I know he appreciates it
Well, it’s sad that Hamilton Farms has decided that they’re going to change their whole platform and become a hunting and fishing platform and is not going to be doing anymore Automotive or can we crank it up or anything like that anymore? That is sad I came to their channel because I enjoyed the content they were doing, but they’re no longer going to do that so I think they’re going to lose a lot of people that will go somewhere else that they can see this content. It’s a shame. They made this decision publicly and said that they were changing it to a hunting and fishing channel will miss their old content. 😢😢😢
Thanks for what you did watch. We appreciate that. I know we will lose some subscribers, but at the end of the day, it's more about being with my family. I appreciate your support.
