    100g of margaine or butter
    1 tablespoon of golden syrup - go stead with this as adding more makes your flapjacks go really hard (I made this mistake :o).
    100g sugar
    50g oats
    50g self-raising flour
    75g crushed cornflakes
    Instructions
    1. Weigh out all of your ingredients.
    2. Mix together the sugar, oats, self-raising flour and crushed cornflakes.
    3. Melt the butter and syrup together either in a microwave (ensure you use a microwavable container - not metal), or in a saucepan over a low heat until the margarine or butter has completely melted.
    4. Pour the margarine and syrup mixture into the dry ingredients and mix together.
    5. Use the back of a spoon to push your mixture into your greased baking tin.
    6. Bake in the middle of the oven on 180°C (fan) for approx. 15-20 mins. Check after 15 mins.
    7. Cut into slices and leave to cool.
