I think the bigger point here is that bikes and cars are just very different. Normal cars are nothing like racecars, normal bikes are really not that far removed from racebikes. The average commuter car has about 10-20% the power of a racecar, is build to never see a racetrack and to be nothing but practical and economical. The average motorcycle has 50-75% the power of a racebike, is build to do daily riding but also see a racetrack if you want to.
Just a month ago I met a rider that slapped Ferrari stickers over his Panigale. When I asked why he said: “They’re made by the same company, it’s Ferrari, it’s the same”. I said I was pretty sure Ducati was owned by Audi VW. He insisted Ferrari makes Ducatis… Most embarrassing discussion with a fellow rider 😂

I think Ducati is the Ferrari of Motorcycles. I've been around and ridden all types of brands but Ducati is definitely the head turner. A certain level of respect and charisma comes with the brand. I drive a Ducati Supersport which is by no means the best model, but I get ushered to park in front of Malls and Clubs the same way a Ferrari would. The feeling is quite amazing. My second point is their size to power ratio in relation to other brands is unmatched! Great content! Keep it coming!

Yeah I would agree. I’m coming from an r6. Sold it about 3 years ago and picking up a 2018 959 tomorrow. Has a few high end mods and only 2k on the dash. Originally wanted a 636 or mt-09 but for the price I took the Ducati since it was less then 12 grand and less then the 636. The mt-09 wasn’t much less so I figured it was the best bang for my buck. However I’m not a huge Ducati fan so it’s not much of a status symbol for me. I love the BMW. That’s the bike I really want.

I think the mistake of this video is comparing the Ferrari with a Supra and not with another superbike with a similar amount of hp. Hell, compare the Ferrari with a 911 Turbo or a Mclaren 720s and there you will find the differencies. Ferrari is about style, passion, feeling when using its perfomance, it's Italy at its finest. Not the most reliable, not the most track focused, but it really makes you feel special. And that's exactly the same as Ducati. Both in the Sportbikes and the Supercars world there are 3 Italian brands that are the jewels of the category but with 3 different approaches. If you want style, status, history and a lot of red buy a Ferrari or a Ducati. If you want angular and aggressive looks and a more sporty and barebones feeling buy a Lamborghini or an Aprilia. Tell me you have no fucking clue about cars without telling me. The F8 Tributo doesn't compare to a V4R, nor a GR Supra. The F8's competition would be a GT3, Huracan, or a V4S with electronic suspension. The V4R would be equivalent to a 488 Pista, 458 Speciale, or a 765LT. Meaning track specials. Also being the entry point, the F8 Tributo doesn't require more than money to buy.

In the new world the Ferrari is embarrassingly slow and expensive. Even compared to cars. The Tesla MS Plaid is 100k and beats the Ferrari in acceleration and can still take the family to Disney World. AND, it will not poison you and pollute.
