Any small warm and damp (your exhaled breath) airspace against an impermeable membrane with a temp difference on the outside (gradient) with suffer condensation. It's a universal problem with single skin bivvies. To mitigate it, if not completely, if bivvies are the thing, try the Geertop Plume 2 (a lot cheaper) which has more volume and better ventilation, or Snugpak's Ionosphere, which is more of a bivvy/tent crossover. And way more expensive.
I prefer the Geertop bivy, which has another pole at the foot end, as well as a vent down there, both of which give better ventilation than the Snugpak, and a much drier experience!
All micro tents suffer from the same problems . No room to store gear , cannot stop contact with the outer leading to drip floods and then there is condensation. All Very Good Reasons to NOT BUY . Snugpak is good gear but please take note of ratings . They are accurate.
It's all condensation mate and damp, from when things get cold at night. It's the down side of non breathable. It's only really a summer option.

Yes I’ve just ordered one! Thank you for watching 🙂
@@DazBurbyUntamedWild Much better, having used both.
No doubt some wet got in with the conditions, but I think at this time of year it's a lot of condensation for that type of material.
Definitely not for me after seeing this, I think I'll stick to a small tent that has ventilation.

Completely agree. Thank you for watching
