    Pretty sure you dont get snow and ice where you are at, but we do here in Canada Land.
    I'f you've ever sheared a valvestem off, there is still a way to get yourself home that i've had to do onnce myself and a few others. ATV's and expecially SXS's break through iced over water thols and create shards of ice that can cut your valves stems clean off.
    1) Take a few of your tar strips and plug the valve hole up tight.
    2) Most of the small 12V compressors will come with a small needle valve to inflate basketballs and the likes.. KEEP THIS
    3)Use that small needle valve and shove it in the mess of tire plugs stuck in the hole where the valve stem once was and inflate. When you remove the needle it should self-seal.
    Ive also seen piece of wood whiddled down to fit in the valve stem hole and use gas and a match to pop the tire back on the bead.
    Happy trails and keep your wits.

      We don’t get hardly any snow here in TN, we did when we lived in PA but never had to do this valve stem repair method. Thank you, this is a great tip for sure! I may need to share this tip because I’m sure there’s plenty of people who have this happen. Thanks for your support and awesome feedback my friend!👍🏼

    I'm sure there is a sponsorship with this brand but he you checked out sidewall slugs? We have used them multiple times and had good luck so far. Definitely not a permanent fix but even less prep.

    • @FishersOffRoad
      @FishersOffRoad  2 роки тому +1

      No sponsorship here buddy, I paid for everything. We use these on more internal repairs on our rentals which the Slugs can’t do. This was just an emergency sidewall repair option. 👍🏼

      Happy to help buddy! We still have five Can-am’s, LOL… We were staying focused on one machine this year for a more focused build and series of videos. We’re in the process of getting some new Commander Max’s for our rental fleet so you’ll see more Can-am content coming early 2022. 👍🏼

    Between this and tire plugs with a high quality tire you dont even need a spare tire.
