This war veteran has much energy and enough character to share with everyone! Stephanie has traveled the world and now works for the government. Although her journey has taken her around the globe, a part-time van life invites a new view of the backyard of the United States!
She says it's the perfect size for a solo trip with a functional kitchen holding a two-burner stove, small sink, and microwave. The mini fridge and pantry support enough storage for food. The main living space has two cozy couches that convert into a bed, and the popup section has room for a bed with an elevated view out of the screened windows!

If the roads are calling you then there can be something to it. Just make sure to not go into a dealership thinking you are just looking around, and then 2 hours later, handing them a $2,000 none refund deposit check like I did. 🥰🥰they saw me coming that day. What a beautiful home! I think I like your set up better than any I've seen on here. The only thing I would have to invest in would be some type of small convection oven as I like to bake! Going to subscribe to your channel to follow along with your adventures and family. Love your personality! I'm retired from UPS, Louisville, Ky. I'm 70 and have lived a great life with no regrets except....wishing I'd traveled a bit more and seen more of this beautiful country I so love. I'm a USAF vet, 1974-1978, then USAFR 1980-1985. I know how hard military service can (and was for me) be for women. Thank you for serving, both military and civil service. I retired from the FAA in 2006, went on to working for the state of Texas at a mental health hospital. I retired from that in 8/2021. Now I watch a lot of UA-cam and found your channel. You're so right, we have much to be thankful for here in the USA. Your home is marvelous and I wish you well!

Thank you for your service! Great job! This is a lovely home on wheels and the loft bedroom must be fun in scenic campsites. I loved the office space and swivel chairs, so cozy. Also love the twin bed bench seats - very functional.
Some of my tips for van life:
1. Add an extra shelf to your medicine cabinet. Make 4 holes for a shelf pins, hot glue them into holes, add shelf.
2. Swap out the watering can for a 2 gallon garden pump sprayer. Pump it up for pressure. More compact and saves water.
3. I cut my hair short for lengthy van travel. Saves a lot of water on shampooing. Hair dryers are electric hogs.
4. Not sure why you have a glass panel on top of your stove??? Its a grease pit, too heavy, and serves no purpose. Why not add a range hood with fan instead?
5. The damaged long front step - no worries. Look at how Humble Road used 80/20 (brand name is 80/20) extruded aluminum struts to create a good looking and functional front step. This is a common problem among RVers. Always a low lying rock that you hit your steps on. 😬
6. Insulate those rear curtains better. Most heat and cold comes in through glass windows. I would sew in some Thinsulate backing, then sew rubber cloth on top of that (facing the UV rays on glass side). Roclon blackout rubber fabric from Fabrics.com. Thinsulate is on Amazon. You will notice a huge difference.
7. The bike - is a thief magnet. Cover it up with a custom made cover from Sunbrella type fabric that is UV resistant and water resistant and mildew resistant. Choose a dull color like grey or black. Don't draw attention to that costly bike. Use bungee cords to hold cover in place so it does NOT look upscale. Make it look unattractive. Also post a sign next to it 'SMILE! YOU ARE ON CAMERA'.
8. I would also get a French Press that is more compact and uses no electricity. Coffee makers are electric hogs. Plug in on shore power or use Press when boon docking. Get an insulated steel press not glass.
9. None of the commercial RVs come with enough battery, inverter, solar, power set up. You may want to add more solar, get a 300 AH Lithionics Lithium Battery, a True Sine 2000 Watt Victron Inverter or MultiPlex. Make sure that your Charger is fully charging batteries, as most are poor quality. This is the device which recharges house batteries from shore power 110V. They use outdated models. This is why building your own van is better in the long run.
10. When in Utah, it helps to keep The Book of Mormon on your dashboard when driving (free in motels). Elsewhere, keep The Bible on your dashboard. Add some police, firemen, NASA stickers on your windshield and bumpers. This helps with police stops. And of course, you have 'Veteran' stickers. No one will mess with a veteran.
You have a lovely home with such bright pretty colors and good functionality. Its so nice to see how much joy this lifestyle is giving you and opportunities to travel and meet people and family. You have such a lovely personality. Thanks for the tour! Bon voyage.

With the kitchen towel holder, a trick to stop it from unravelling on the road is to leave an elastic band on the holder with the roll, then just pop it round the roll when not using it.

When I camp I use a 2 gallon hand pumped lawn pressure sprayer for my shower. usually only use 1/2 of it. it's amazing how little water you use when you have to carry it from somewhere to your camp!

This is an AMAZING van. It's first a van which is smaller than a bus and much easier to handle than buses. It also has TWO bedrooms, which I find so rare in vans. I'm content it has a bathroom and IM IN LOVE with the pop up bedroom. It's such a great idea! The dinette is also amazing. I've watched many tiny home tours and I think this is one of the best rv tours. Such greatly designed. Also, the lady is so kind! She seems so fun!! Yes!!!! I mean it!!! Please do better than me and invest in an inspector BEFORE you buy. Pretty much all RV manufacturers will have warranty issues to deal with but some have a more dreadful reputations than otherwise. Be informed and then you will have managed expectations. 😉🌺
