Khalid Mehmood first of all I love Snow. I have been a fan of her since she was in Sky High. Her talent to play snow and killer frost is awesome. The writers gave us a peak of what it would be like if it was Barry and Snow. The writers are not scared. They are telling the story in their vision. Now I would like to see her finally find her true love 💕. Snow and Barry do have a very special connection. I will continue to watch all of the videos, they are great! Telling me to shut up, wow that really wasn’t necessary, it’s a TV show. With that passion though maybe you should try your hand at writing. Have a good one.

To me, this scene is absolute proof that the writers are scared of SnowBarry. This scene should definitely have been included. Not just because its a SB scene, but it would have made so much sense when watching the show
That Rant is so FACTS that's almost sad. Which is why I'm not watching next season but I will watch all of your SNOWBARRY videos in the future. It's the same thing I did with season 4 and season 5 doesn't give me hope except that video you made with your theory on Caitlin.
Ok... I originally had commented on the official video few weeks ago but I have to paste them here too. It's gonna be long, but I've held this in for years! What... 😳 Dude, there's so MUCH in this scene, I could literally end up writing a thesis decrypting this. Just look at their body language! Look at the way Barry LOOKS at Caitlin. There's something so genuine and authentic in those eyes. They way he listens to her, the way she knowingly smiles- _she knows him better than he knows himself._ The way he expectantly looks back at her to see if she "approves"-until she said, "Better". The biggest thing is, it's all so NATURAL. This scene doesn't feel contrived at all and I believe much of it's got to do with Grant & Danielle's seamless chemistry together. No wonder this was deleted. This is a big threat. Caitlin's subtle ways by her suggestions and question concerning Ralph, they push Barry to be a _better hero._ Which takes me back to S1 during one of the show's behind the scenes interview... The *"Woman behind the Hero"* wasn't Iris West at all- it's Caitlin Snow. I didn't say that. The show itself did. The way he just *HAD* to look at Caitlin as she leaves the room… *_Barry basically just gave himself away._* His looks just linger on Caitlin and in the show, it happens on the most random of shots too-there are plenty of memes and gifs around as evidence (and of course, your awesome vids!). I think it’s because Grant and Dani are just naturally really good friends in real life but the thing is- *WHY* does the director, particularly in this scene, *HIGHLIGHTS* it? It literally ends up being a close up shot too. We know that in film, they *_never_* “waste” shots. It’s too expensive to just "put" random shots. Close ups are carefully CRAFTED-actually, all types of frames for that matter. The type of lens they use; for long shots, medium, close ups; the light set ups that go with them, and etc-there’s a lot of designing that goes behind the scene to compose a frame. So somehow, the director capitalizes on what’s natural between Grant and Danielle. If Caitlin is simply just another significant member to Team Flash, then why oh why do Barry’s eyes just _have_ to *follow* and *_linger_* on Caitlin-and NATURALLY so. *You know what the message ends up conveying?* (whether they intentionally meant it or not)- *"I **_VALUE_** THIS WOMAN. WHENEVER SHE LEAVES, I **_HAVE_** TO GET A LAST LOOK AT HER."* Bruh. That spells like _LOVERS_ to me, instead of being mere “friends” (even Grant has been on record saying Barry and Caitlin’s scenes feel “romantic” at times 🤣🤣). Pfft. And ya know what they say-the best lovers are the ones that are the best of friends. They can put it on the script in a 1000 different languages all they want and talk themselves blue till they start frothing at the mouth, how Barry and Iris are "best friends" but what the writers and directors have ended up SHOWING is that it’s really Barry, Caitlin, and Cisco that fit that description best, rather than Barry and Iris. Ya gotta SHOW it, not just SAY it. With Barry and Caitlin, between their parallels, how they fought FOR one another, how they TRUSTED each other, RESCUED each other, becoming each other’s *SAFE PLACE,* seen each other’s weaknesses but _never_ discounting each other just because of their limitations, bringing out the BEST that is in each other (just as this scene is explicitly showing!), especially in S1-it really shows that they have a *WORLD OF **_THEIR OWN._* And that world has been built brick by brick. It has been *EARNED.* And so, too, has earned *OUR* faith in their story. Believe me. I was OPEN to WestAllen cause in the comics, they are canon. But this Barry and Iris in the show, is *NOT* the Barry and Iris in the comics. I apologize for the LONG reply! I’ve been a quiet observer all these years but this scene finally brought it out of me. Snowbarry is STILL a threat. I tried looking for the interviews and went back to CW's site but couldn’t find it. They were really Character features that they did to promote the show when it first began, which was all the way back in 2014. That’s probably why it’s not up anymore. Funny enough though, it was _Candice Patton_ that “hosted” the features, saying, there’s always a “_Woman behind the Hero-_*and that is Caitlin Snow"* 🤣🤣 Another thing. Something isn't adding up. For this scene to exist in the first place, *somebody **_had to write it._* So I'm thinking, either the writers' camp themselves are divided in the vision; or the big wigs up there are pulling all the shots; or the writers _simply_ didn't expect this scene to turn out this way. Well, we know the director for this scene sure highlights and capitalizes on Grant and Dani's easy and seamless chemistry. That tells me that he believes in them. I'm sure he didn't have to like pull teeth outta them. Everything is so organic and so genuine between Grant and Dani, therefore Barry and Caity. So give Grant and Dani a simple dialogue, it'll still end up being genuine, authentic, _and_ *trustworthy.* **When I wrote this, I didn't know that Tom had directed it-though the thought had crossed my mind. I read somewhere here that he did. NO WONDER. Dude knows what's up. Also, with scenes like this, even though they got deleted, I'm still not convinced that SB is completely out of the ring. Why then highlights Barry looking *FIRST* - and I mean FIRST!!! - at Caitlin when he came out of the speed force last season? *_AND_* smiling the way he did- *completely* unhindered, and *_instinctively_* so, in the way that Caitlin, too, was, when she looked at him. It was _so completely_ *RANDOM.* And that's my whole point. In filmmaking, _no shot is "random"._ Pfft. Something's afoot.
I needed this so much !! Granielle has so much chemistry that it really only is pathetic not to put those perfect and peaceful scenes in the show. It was 50 seconds and you’re right: It changed the season completely. It still makes me mad. But I am also glad I got to ship Barry and Caitlin. Ty for this video!
When was the last episode they were actually alone in a room, 3x15 in the medical bay? Sounds about right, and that was for about 10 seconds after everyone left them alone after being upset about Wally being trapped in the Speedforce, then...end of episode! At least Caitlin was allowed to stay since she's Barry's doctor and was treating him. There was one scene in Season 4 where Barry and Caitlin were coming out of the med bay after he had gotten his ass handed to him yet again by some weak metahuman, but we never got to actually see a conversation, just an offscreen interaction. It's unreal and the writers are so transparent. They refuse to allow Barry and Caitlin to be alone anymore because they KNOW they have more chemistry than WestAllen. Sad storytelling.
The Mad Science of Bobtown In fairness, ratings for all shows dwindle in the later seasons. Fans eventually get bored and want something new. The only difference is the RATE of decline depending on how fast or slow the show goes to shit. I finally just gave up on the show around early Season 5. once they brought in WestAllen’s daughter with her “schway” dialogue, I knew it was time to bail! Lol Also, I was at a point where I couldn’t stand or couldn’t care less about half the characters, namely Iris, Ralph, NoraJr, and Barry himself. I don’t think the show was really any good after Season 2 anyway. I just thought Season 3 was a bump in the road, then Season 4 was worse and I didn’t hear good things about Season 5. I just watched the Crisis clip of Smallville’s version of Clark and Lois, my favorite comic book couple ever, and got a bonus seeing Iris disappear (I know it didn’t stick). I wish the writers had made that happen on The Flash years ago and maybe the show would have been better than it turned out to be.

It is so vital because they saw THEMSELVES as villains and this moment is them accepting that they can be good and acknowledging that they have chosen to be good (especially after seeing how wrong things could have gone if they ended up like kf and Savitar) so if they got these powers and didn't immediately want to use them for evil then the other metas were victims of DeVoe's circumstantial plan

The writers are basically telling their story to force a boring relationship only because of canon and suppressing all the good storytelling through the natural relationships Barry has established with other characters. Iris is his wife, whatever, but it's absurd for her character to be in StarLabs and sucking up screentime that belongs to Caitlin and Cisco. The romantic stuff is one thing, but Iris is not qualified to be in the lab at all.
Candice probably gets paid more since she has a lot more scenes than Caitlin and Cisco But I don't even know to be honest , but that's probably what it is
It's this kind of moment that resonates to THE Barry Allen everyone knows and loves from season 1. He's forgiving and understanding especially to those who he misread as a bad guy (i.e. Tony Woodward, his childhood bully). Why delete such a short but very poignant scene which doesn't only show Barry's change of heart, from seeing everyone having powers to be another villain to understanding that not all metas are out to destroy humanity (too much? I know. Hehe) but also Ralph's character (which I think is kind of here and there but whatevs...) finally getting recognized by the HERO of the show? Imagine that! How the main character came as a lovable dummy to an actual hero who did everything to save all that he could to self loathing hero, because he knew he couldn't save everyone, to realizing he CAN be THE VILLAIN and making crazy and pathetic attempts not to be one to repremanding himself for doing so thus sacrificing his life by being in the speedforce to save everyone, yet again (I'm looking at you Iris) to getting out and being crazy, to be a jerk-kind of a hero to "realizing he should give people another chance" kind of hero. Wasted opportunity there. I have never watch a full episode of season 4, because of a number of reasons, but I felt that I didn' t miss much. Sigh.... Well, looking forward for your vids and Caitlin's character arc next season. Thanks! P. S. If they really want a convincing redemption-of-a-character arc they should turn to Zuko of ATLA, I know it's far from any charcter but the writer's made it very believable to see through the eyes of "THE VILLAIN". Oh thank goodness, my titanic theme is back lol I was wondering if you were gonna do this one and man right on the money with every word. The fact they're cutting character growth for our "main" character is pathetic, plus a scene that was basically the narrative lynchpin for the outlook that season, Barry's growth as a character, and the conclusion to the arc between Barry and Caitlin that episode. Deleting it is just horrible writing and why? Because they're scared of Snowbarry? Guess so because I have no other explanation. You're so right about how relaxed they are alone though, I would love to have this Barry all the time, he seems so healed and complete. When they're alone it always feels so intimate with how calm they are and how deeply and easily they breath. The titanic theme was almost like the perfect background music for this scene lol Though I don't actually believe we're the minority. I think people are scared to say anything though, no one wants to be attacked and called a racist. No one wants to go against the flow. But when they give Snowbarry (plus original trio) any leeway at all the ratings go through the roof because it becomes engaging to watch. The casual viewer doesn't like WA (they're here for what season one had comic and science solutions and engaging story and characters. All of which WA destroys with forced solutions, cringey dialogue, and scene hogging) and no they may not be super Snowbarry shippers but man even they have noticed the lack of interaction between Barry and Caitlin and find the fact this scene was deleted weird and wrong. Even if it ended and they went with WestAllen, at least we would have had SnowBarry for real. I haven’t watched a snow barry video in so long, because the show for the past two years or so has been forcing Westallen and barely giving me any SB scenes. I’ll always ship them, but a part of me knows they’ll never end up together. The flash just isn’t the same show it used to be, I miss Caitlin and Barry’s relationship so much!

Also its not like they didn't even have time to include that clip, episode 4x04 ended up having a time mark of 41 minutes and the average episode is 42 - 47 minutes. This clip is less than a minute long they could have easily included it.

👏🏻 100% 👏🏻 Snowbarry could happen. If the Flash were to be following sort of the Arrow’s pattern, than Barry would leave Iris (the comic lover) and go to Caitlin (the hopeful lover). Just like Oliver left Laurel for Felicity. But it may be too late for that to happen. While looking back at season 4, the whole season was about Iris. It’s ridiculous. But hopefully the producers will get their heads out of their asses and give good conversion between Barry and Caitlin

I went to Google Trends. Compared Snowbarry to Westallen. Websearches... Meh (Although there was a lot of SB around the first season of the flash). I couldn't say the same about UA-cam and picture searches. There's almost no point where Westallen beats Snowbarry. Could that possibly state something about the SB fandom? That we are much stronger than we assumed? And that possibly we could make a change to the direction of the show? Hopeful to say the least.
What the writers dont understand is that if they give iris and barry a better storyline they don't have to feel so threatened by Snowbarry. i dont think its a chemistry thing because the actors are themselves good but with dialogue they are given it doesnt allow them to portray such emotion connections. Like imagine Caitlin saying "we are the flash" or even Cisco... it sounds so dumb, why would they force poor Iris to say something so idiotic

With Barry and Caitlin, between their parallels, how they fought FOR one another, how they TRUSTED each other, RESCUED each other, becoming each other’s *SAFE PLACE,* seen each other’s weaknesses but _never_ discounting each other just because of their limitations, bringing out the BEST that is in each other (just as this scene is explicitly showing!), especially in S1-it really shows that they have a *WORLD OF **_THEIR OWN._* And that world has been built brick by brick. It has been *EARNED.* And so, too, has earned *OUR* faith in their story. Believe me. I was OPEN to WestAllen cause in the comics, they are canon. But this Barry and Iris in the show, is *NOT* the Barry and Iris in the comics. I apologize for the LONG reply! I’ve been a quiet observer all these years but this scene finally brought it out of me. Snowbarry is STILL a threat. I tried looking for the interviews and went back to CW's site but couldn’t find it. They were really Character features that they did to promote the show when it first began, which was all the way back in 2014. That’s probably why it’s not up anymore. Funny enough though, it was _Candice Patton_ that “hosted” the features, saying, there’s always a “_Woman behind the Hero-_*and that is Caitlin Snow"* 🤣🤣
Another thing. Something isn't adding up. For this scene to exist in the first place, *somebody **_had to write it._* So I'm thinking, either the writers' camp themselves are divided in the vision; or the big wigs up there are pulling all the shots; or the writers _simply_ didn't expect this scene to turn out this way. Well, we know the director for this scene sure highlights and capitalizes on Grant and Dani's easy and seamless chemistry. That tells me that he believes in them. I'm sure he didn't have to like pull teeth outta them. Everything is so organic and so genuine between Grant and Dani, therefore Barry and Caity. So give Grant and Dani a simple dialogue, it'll still end up being genuine, authentic, _and_ *trustworthy.*
**When I wrote this, I didn't know that Tom had directed it-though the thought had crossed my mind. I read somewhere here that he did. NO WONDER. Dude knows what's up.
Also, with scenes like this, even though they got deleted, I'm still not convinced that SB is completely out of the ring. Why then highlights Barry looking *FIRST* - and I mean FIRST!!! - at Caitlin when he came out of the speed force last season? *_AND_* smiling the way he did- *completely* unhindered, and *_instinctively_* so, in the way that Caitlin, too, was, when she looked at him. It was _so completely_ *RANDOM.* And that's my whole point. In filmmaking, _no shot is "random"._ Pfft. Something's afoot.

When was the last episode they were actually alone in a room, 3x15 in the medical bay? Sounds about right, and that was for about 10 seconds after everyone left them alone after being upset about Wally being trapped in the Speedforce, then...end of episode! At least Caitlin was allowed to stay since she's Barry's doctor and was treating him. There was one scene in Season 4 where Barry and Caitlin were coming out of the med bay after he had gotten his ass handed to him yet again by some weak metahuman, but we never got to actually see a conversation, just an offscreen interaction. It's unreal and the writers are so transparent. They refuse to allow Barry and Caitlin to be alone anymore because they KNOW they have more chemistry than WestAllen. Sad storytelling.
and ratings for The Flash are going down
The Mad Science of Bobtown In fairness, ratings for all shows dwindle in the later seasons. Fans eventually get bored and want something new. The only difference is the RATE of decline depending on how fast or slow the show goes to shit. I finally just gave up on the show around early Season 5. once they brought in WestAllen’s daughter with her “schway” dialogue, I knew it was time to bail! Lol Also, I was at a point where I couldn’t stand or couldn’t care less about half the characters, namely Iris, Ralph, NoraJr, and Barry himself. I don’t think the show was really any good after Season 2 anyway. I just thought Season 3 was a bump in the road, then Season 4 was worse and I didn’t hear good things about Season 5.
I just watched the Crisis clip of Smallville’s version of Clark and Lois, my favorite comic book couple ever, and got a bonus seeing Iris disappear (I know it didn’t stick). I wish the writers had made that happen on The Flash years ago and maybe the show would have been better than it turned out to be.

It is so vital because they saw THEMSELVES as villains and this moment is them accepting that they can be good and acknowledging that they have chosen to be good (especially after seeing how wrong things could have gone if they ended up like kf and Savitar) so if they got these powers and didn't immediately want to use them for evil then the other metas were victims of DeVoe's circumstantial plan

It's like I like cookies and I love them so much I could eat them for weeks but however I would end up Getting Diabetes it is a thing of being it a bad thing its hurting the show's ratings Wasting it all on Westallen, Iris's Undeveloped Character and Her Hypocritical Moments and Raplh Dipney
The writers are basically telling their story to force a boring relationship only because of canon and suppressing all the good storytelling through the natural relationships Barry has established with other characters. Iris is his wife, whatever, but it's absurd for her character to be in StarLabs and sucking up screentime that belongs to Caitlin and Cisco. The romantic stuff is one thing, but Iris is not qualified to be in the lab at all.

It's this kind of moment that resonates to THE Barry Allen everyone knows and loves from season 1. He's forgiving and understanding especially to those who he misread as a bad guy (i.e. Tony Woodward, his childhood bully).
Why delete such a short but very poignant scene which doesn't only show Barry's change of heart, from seeing everyone having powers to be another villain to understanding that not all metas are out to destroy humanity (too much? I know. Hehe) but also Ralph's character (which I think is kind of here and there but whatevs...) finally getting recognized by the HERO of the show? Imagine that! How the main character came as a lovable dummy to an actual hero who did everything to save all that he could to self loathing hero, because he knew he couldn't save everyone, to realizing he CAN be THE VILLAIN and making crazy and pathetic attempts not to be one to repremanding himself for doing so thus sacrificing his life by being in the speedforce to save everyone, yet again (I'm looking at you Iris) to getting out and being crazy, to be a jerk-kind of a hero to "realizing he should give people another chance" kind of hero. Wasted opportunity there.
I have never watch a full episode of season 4, because of a number of reasons, but I felt that I didn' t miss much. Sigh.... Well, looking forward for your vids and Caitlin's character arc next season. Thanks!
P. S. If they really want a convincing redemption-of-a-character arc they should turn to Zuko of ATLA, I know it's far from any charcter but the writer's made it very believable to see through the eyes of "THE VILLAIN".

Oh thank goodness, my titanic theme is back lol I was wondering if you were gonna do this one and man right on the money with every word. The fact they're cutting character growth for our "main" character is pathetic, plus a scene that was basically the narrative lynchpin for the outlook that season, Barry's growth as a character, and the conclusion to the arc between Barry and Caitlin that episode. Deleting it is just horrible writing and why? Because they're scared of Snowbarry? Guess so because I have no other explanation. You're so right about how relaxed they are alone though, I would love to have this Barry all the time, he seems so healed and complete. When they're alone it always feels so intimate with how calm they are and how deeply and easily they breath. The titanic theme was almost like the perfect background music for this scene lol
Though I don't actually believe we're the minority. I think people are scared to say anything though, no one wants to be attacked and called a racist. No one wants to go against the flow. But when they give Snowbarry (plus original trio) any leeway at all the ratings go through the roof because it becomes engaging to watch. The casual viewer doesn't like WA (they're here for what season one had comic and science solutions and engaging story and characters. All of which WA destroys with forced solutions, cringey dialogue, and scene hogging) and no they may not be super Snowbarry shippers but man even they have noticed the lack of interaction between Barry and Caitlin and find the fact this scene was deleted weird and wrong. And if the *nonshippers* are noticing the jig is definitely up and the writers better start paying attention to what makes the show good before its too far gone.

Even if it ended and they went with WestAllen, at least we would have had SnowBarry for real. I haven’t watched a snow barry video in so long, because the show for the past two years or so has been forcing Westallen and barely giving me any SB scenes. Snowbarry could happen. If the Flash were to be following sort of the Arrow’s pattern, than Barry would leave Iris (the comic lover) and go to Caitlin (the hopeful lover). Just like Oliver left Laurel for Felicity. But it may be too late for that to happen. While looking back at season 4, the whole season was about Iris. It’s ridiculous. But hopefully the producers will get their heads out of their asses and give good conversion between Barry and Caitlin

I went to Google Trends. Compared Snowbarry to Westallen. Websearches... Meh (Although there was a lot of SB around the first season of the flash). I couldn't say the same about UA-cam and picture searches. There's almost no point where Westallen beats Snowbarry. Could that possibly state something about the SB fandom? That we are much stronger than we assumed? And that possibly we could make a change to the direction of the show? Hopeful to say the least.
