I actually liked her back at season 1, i cant understand how she got to be so bad....

Selfish but she nearly killed herself to save Barry, stabbed herself to save team flash, and all she ever does is sacrifice for everyone else so selfish is about right.
They are probably racist it seems to be popular to bash black characters. She's just a bit bossy and her main passion of being a reporter was a better role than leading the team. They seem to be getting her back into that direction. But overall she is an ok character willing to take big risks.

Another point is if snowbarry somehow happened(which is impossible) wouldn’t all the westallen fans leave the show(which again is a huge part of the flash fan base)? Also, if Barry and Iris somehow got a divorced and dated Caitlyn wouldn’t that cause drama? I mean the last thing the fans of the flash wants is drama. I mean they practically have a daughter in the future which means snowbarry will never happen! It will never happen next season, or the season after that, and so on. So, stop your ridiculous theories about Nora somehow being snowbarry’s daughter, when she is BLACK! I am sorry but westallen will never break apart and snowbarry will never happen. Get it through your head! If they ever liked each other why didn’t they date when they had numerous times that they had a chance? You guys literally hate on iris just bc Barry choice her! Like if she walks or talks you guys r there to say something about her! Yes, Iris character sucks and the writers need to improve her character! If Barry and Caitlyn even talk or if one of them even looks at hem for like .1 of a second you guys r there to say they like each other. In episode 8 a lot of snowbarry fans said Barry liked Caitlyn bc he cried for her when she god damn got KIDNAP by a MURDERER SPEEDSTER. Wouldn’t you cry if one of ur best friends got kidnap, especially when you blamed it on ur self? It doesn’t mean you have a crush on them, it just means you care for them, like any good friend! Lol even when Iris died in the future, didn’t we see Barry all emo and depressed bc the love of his life died! Come on! Look I am not a westallen fan bc I could care less about a relationship in a superhero show! Just to remind you the flash is a superhero show not a rom-con so leave it alone! Plus if you actually knew anything about body language you'll understand their actions, barry overthinks iris and Caitlin is scared of confessing because she thinks she'll get turned down, and if Caitlin didn't like Barry, then why is Barry the only person that can easily trigger killer frost, and even DeVoe said that to get killer frost, she needs to be frightened by someone's death, like her bestie but he said he can't kill the flash yet, so I'll kill your other bestie, Barry is more than a bestie to Caitlin especially since DeVoe is a genius and has been spying on the team for a long period of time.

@Funants Designs yeah but the writers told her to do that and they knew about it, so it's either just them writing Iris as a terrible person, or the writers finding a reason for Cicada to hate Iris so he goes after her, so the flash will start taking Cicada seriously, because right now he hasn't really done anything except going around killing defenceless not so meta-humans.
I see it this way:
If Iris could beat Cicada, then he's not a good villain and they Nerf Barry hard...
Since the dagger takes away Barry's only way of defending himself I wouldn't say he's being nerfed

One thing good about this episode that there wasn't much killer frost. Don't get me wrong. I love killer frost as much as all of u do... But there should be episodes where only caitlin shines. Otherwise caitlin will become useless and the only thing good about her would be killer frost. Seeing red was an opportunity for killer frost to shine... Now I want to see more episodes that give caitlin to shine. I want more snowbarry than flash frost. (flash frost is also cool btw but we already got it in the previous episode)

I liked the comparison between Barry and Caitlin in this episode but it was still terrible how does a villain that team flash couldn’t beat end up being easily defeated by iris what the hell that was some lazy writing about this episode and also Nora trying to get Sherlock (I’m gonna call him that instead of his real name) distracted so he won’t find out her secret oh man Nora why? The only thing I liked about this episode was some snowbarry scenes and Barry and Ralph fighting by each other sides to take down goldface and his crew other than the rest was terrible like this is my top 5 worst episodes of the flash

Also, if Barry and Iris somehow got a divorced and dated Caitlyn wouldn’t that cause drama? I mean the last thing the fans of the flash wants is drama. I mean they practically have a daughter in the future which means snowbarry will never happen! It will never happen next season, or the season after that, and so on. So, stop your ridiculous theories about Nora somehow being snowbarry’s daughter, when she is BLACK! I am sorry but westallen will never break apart and snowbarry will never happen. Get it through your head! If they ever liked each other why didn’t they date when they had numerous times that they had a chance? You guys literally hate on iris just bc Barry choice her! Honestly, I feel like with all rumors cisco might be leaving at end of the season, (and don't be surprised if he does to pursue other projects). Is mostly because of the lack of character development these past 2 seasons have given him. Iris would've ended off perfect if she died at S3, (due to how horrible her character has been written the past few seasons, and without any development at all either). Here's the way I see it. I would've killed Iris off in S3, because I feel like that in S4, Caitlin, Cisco, Wells all trying to save Barry from going emo (dark) and shit would've been really cool. And Savitar still kicking around would be perfect for "fillers episodes" or sub-side plots. Also would be the first "bad guy" to officially win against Team Flash. In fact, S4 could've been a hint to a relationship between Caitlin & Barry happening. As they would get closer. (Personally, because Caitlin lost his husband, Ronnie 2 times to be exact). I also really enjoyed HR & Cisco chemistry so it would be even better. Also, somehow Iris dying could motivate him to keep the City safe and keep being the flash, and taking care of Joe, (words Iris said to Barry in her "death message") In Arrow they had the balls to kill Laurel.. to just say "hey felicity and Oliver is going to be forever" so idk.

Yeah, and she puts everyone in danger. Remember when brought back in season 2 with called Barry to rescue her from the men that were shooting at her. Again in Season3 with Wally, when she convinced Wally to help investigate another group of people selling illegal guns.

I remember I started watching The Flash because I like the power of superspeed, then I fell in love with Cait so much and I liked the Team Flash (the real Team Flash, that included only Barry, Caitlin and Cisco). but it all went wrong when Iris came along. and it pisses me off that West-Allen fans see this as a racism or some hate but it’s all about the fact that the writers really do a poor job of writing Iris’s character! i think i’ve never seen this before. Iris’s character is so inconsistent, so confusing, so dull and so ridiculous! and she seems to be the main character now, not The Flash, wtf!
