I’m going to call it now. The civilian version of this laser won’t be close to production at shotshow 2024. This is almost 2 years out still, which is annoying. They should’ve unveiled it next year.
People complaining about the price probably don't have night vision to use with it anyways. NV is an expensive game and 2k for a good civ laser is a steal when a comparable device like the Mawl c1+ is near 4k.
You don't need to have NVGs to complain about the price of a laser. Example If gas went to $25 a gallon and people complained, would you say "People complaining about the price probably don't have a vehicle to use it anyways." Yup that's how dumb you sounded. the reason Night vision is an expensive game is because of ignorant people like yourself who believe its Justified and pay it. Scams work because there will always be fools to scam. If I charged $400 for a hamburger it wouldn't make a hamburger that I charge $200 for magically a steal there still 2 ridiculously overpriced hamburgers IDC what special sauce I have on them. good NVG run about $5,000 with 51 degree fields of view, if you want to have a better view you can increase it by 47 more degrees for $40,000 more. Yup that makes perfect sense. All I know is if you think $2,000 is a steal because there is a model out there going for $4,000, than with NVGs out there going for $45,000 then NVGs for $25,000 should be a steal. but No that's not how it works. The standard tech in NVG uses a strategy called image enhancement and it has similar function to old televisions and computers. when I say old Im talking 1930s. Tech so old and primitive that its useless for anything other than overpriced primitive NVGs in modern times. there not overpriced because there worth it, there overpriced because the government wants to keep them out of as many civilians hands as they can. You can have a problem with that or you can pretend its justified.
Yep, its not a cheap game. If the OGL is good it will be the cheapest VCSEL LAM on the market. I will say the raid xe civie is still a really nice LAM and really comparable to my NGAL

Eotech really dropped the ball on the nomenclature of the OGL. The name OWL was right there. Not sure if it matters, but of the next gen LAMs out there this is the only one you have to spell out. The NGAL and mawl you can just say. Even if people argue about how to pronounce the former.
@@hicksc1498 ooooh, you right. I forgot. Though, I think they could still get away with it considering the OGL would be an On Weapon Laser. As a law talking guy, I'd think that argument would hold water.

@@Christoph-sd3zi Image intensifier tubes are still incredibly difficult to fabricate, the technology doesn't really have any meaningful consumer analogs. Lasers on the other hand are literally everywhere.
