Another solid video! A good friend of mine lives on Melrose its a nice community. Lots of great live music comes out of the royal george I doubt that 5 million Scoville wing taste good prob made with nasty tasting pepper extract. Cheers ! Keep em coming!!
@@minischism5438 Yeah , a lot are closing but the nicer ones are still thriving, especially countryside pubs offering good food and cheaper Weatherspoons are also still doing great business, they are always packed. I’m British and spent 13 years in Winnipeg, I’m back home now as I felt increasingly unsafe in Winnipeg and I guess I was bored too. I do love Manitoba though and it’s nice to still see the city through UA-camrs like yourself.. I’m also a citizen of Canada and may return in the future but I doubt I would live in Winnipeg again.. 👍
i was born and raised in transcona from 1962 to 1981 and lived on 617 victoria avenue east ...both bus stops were right in front of me i am glad to say ..in the last ten years or so i bike to transcona for the hi neighbor festival not as much the last five years maybe once i love to think back biking down the streets close to my home and think about people who i grew up with and sometimes bump into them downtown when i worked at the convention center
I was the electrical engineer when Flyer doubled the size of the plant in 1996/97. My company m2engineering. Was a big job. Then in 2008 I bought Warren's Corner sports across Pandora West and built a 12 unit apartment development in 2009. Still have it and am building a 8 unit at 701 Pandora W. Rezoning was just approved. You walked by the dump.

Woolco was way before my time 😀. It’s nice to know he’s been kept. Could so easily have been dumped. Unless, of course, he’s sentient…
@@minischism5438 they did a huge rehab job on that statue sometime in the past four years.

BE CAREFUL TAKING THE BUS IN WINNIPEG LOTS OF UNSAVORY CHARACTERS
If you keep to yourself and don’t make yourself look like a target you’ll be fine.
Way more savoury ones! I enjoy the adventure.
You must miss British pubs ? The ones there are utterly soulless..
True British pubs are going, too. I think I was a tad too early for these. I reckon it gets lively a bit later?

That’s a great connection with Flyer, just before I started there…
