Good selection of liverpool pubs for that end of town..plus a brewdog and a spoons...that jukebox in the Swan is normally booming...shall be over in town tonight for a concert so probably be in the baltic
You have your work cut out doing Liverpool in two days, You have given us a few good tips for our next visit. We always end up on Dale street, apparently, I can't remember. Keep up the good work.
Alright mate, boss video! Im gonna recommened a few more pubs to check out for next time you visit! Check out, the railway, lion tavern, the croc, scruffy murphys, the erbele, the posthouse, lady of mann, pig and whistle! Most are reasonably priced and you'll enjoy them i think 👌 can suggest more too if you wish 👍
Did Liverpool whilst of a union conference about a decade ago. Loved the Baltic Fleet as they still had their own brewery (Wapping) out the back at the time. Did all the usual famous famous ones like the Philharmonic and Peter Kavanagh's etc.....Got roped into a couple "sing songs" with the locals in two pubs on Dale Street aswell. The only place on the mainland where I've found beers from the Isle of Man. Good times.
LOVED YOU MADE A TWO PART VIDS ABOUT MY ADOPTED ENCHANTED CITY ,MATE !....I SWEAR DOWN ....I;LL KEEP BOTH PARTS FOR EVER ...❤️❤️❤️❤️🔥💥😭🎵⚽🍺🍺🍺😂🤪👍🏻🙏🏻...HAPPY BIRTHDAY HOLLY ....AND MERRY CYRISTMAS LADS 👍🏻🙏🏻🔥💥🎅🏻🤶🏻🏴❤️❤️❤️
The belvedere, the ship and mitre, the denbigh castle the Excelsior, the dead crafty, Thomas rigbys, the dispensary, the lion tavern, the vines, Liverpool brewing co, the crown. The Blackburne the Caledonia. The list goes on and on
You picked some good ones and some bad ones (spoons and einsteins for example) for me. You missed some brilliant places including some breweries- The Ship in Mitre (THE pub in Liverpool), Black Lodge (its on king dock street!), Hobo Kiosk, Albert Schenke, The Grapes (Roscoe Street one), Roscoe Head, The Dispensary, The Beveldere, Dr. Duncans, Dead Crafty, Ye Hole In Ye Wall, The Denbeigh Castle (same people who own the bridewell) and of course Azvex Taproom
This was only day one mate haha.... we're getting to a few of the ones you've mentioned today for sure! Then we will just HAVE to come back for rounds 3 and 4... haha... what a superb drinking city this is...
Yeah 100% the Munroe has been through couple of iterations including a Greek restaurant 🤦. But it hasnt been shouted about as only been reopened last couple of months after being the one of the lasted acquisitions of 1936 Pub Company (owners of the vines, red lion, Queens on Hope Street). As you said they have just opened St. Peters Tavern this month.
I'm a Scouser , I find going out in Liverpool in the afternoon till about 8pm is the best way to enjoy a drink , after 8 all the divvies come out
I do love Liverpool. Probably one of the best places I've visited.
Happy Birthday Holly!

enjoyed that, thanks. You should have kept walking up the hill to Knight street, The Grapes is the best boozer in Liverpool bar none
The Shipping Forecast hosts some great bands in the basement, The Hives and Editors have played there
The pub company is called the 1936 pub company
The La Go is one of my favourites

Cooper's Town House... :-)

The Vines Big House is the most impressive out of them. I believe it may be owned by the same company as monroes

You didn't go back to Fusion, where you made your TNT commentary debut?😂. Love the series, nice to see such a positive review of the city's boozers!.
Been in Bridwell in the cells in the 80s lol
It’s £2.80 a Guinness in La’go bro! I shall see you later on tho. Big Aaron x
Also I learned on my visit that Chicken in Liverpool is pronounced as Shickin. Just channel your inner Jamie Carragher
The Munro only recently re-opened, so it wouldn't have been mentioned......
Liverpool is the best city in England
Agreed 👍💯
CHRISTMAS (SORRY LADS)😂😂😂😂❤️🙏🏻🎅🏻🤶🏻👍🏻
😅
Not a tale .. Dickens used the experience for research
