How to Fix a Wobbly Side View Mirror on a Ferrari F430

- The Sideview Mirrors on the Ferrari F430 are known to get loose and wobble. The fix can either be very simple or sometimes it can be difficult. When it goes well, it may be as simple as tightening some loose screws. When it goes poorly, you have to get a bit inventive. In this video, I show you what it looks like to fix the mirrors when it goes well.

Yet another superpower has been demonstrated!!
Haha right
Hey Dan, I had the black F430 at COTA cars and coffee, your GT40 is insane. Loved seeing it.
Very cool! And thank you
I would have put some loc-tite on those screws so that they don't come loose again.
Yeah probably should have
Stiff suspension = everything that can come loose will come loose. Nice and easy DIY vid.
Plus the engine harmonics
Hello NGS….wheres the steering wheel adjustment lever on the Scud?…..I mis-laced my owners manual……ty
Same place as any 430, under the steering column
@@normalguysupercar got it….ty 👍
Dewobble it Dan! DEWOBBLE IT!!!!
LOL
$500 at dealer. Great video
I wonder if they replace the rubber block for that or just do what I did....
Are you and Josh still getting along with the cats?
The cars are long gone
Why not add lock tight to the inner bolts so I doesn't happen again?
Probably should have
Wobble baby, wobble baby, wobble baby, wobble (yeah)
Get in there, yeah, yeah
Lol
I'm amazed no one has tried something like urethane instead of rubber for those. If you guys wanna try it, I'd be happy to try to make you one out of urethane if you can send me dimensions. My treat.
I think the catch is the limited numbers of people that would want it. But yea, urethane would be WAY better. If you can make stuff from urethane, a much better item might be the engine mounts. That would be very interesting.
@@normalguysupercar I'd be down to give it a go. I enjoy doing that kind of stuff. I ended up making strut tower bushings that are NLA for some oldschool maseratis for a friend and a group of his fellow car nuts.

Interested in a set if you do make them as the ones on my F430 are shot
The more you know
Yes sir
@@normalguysupercar one of the things that I think is important is the way you always ( at least with me) answer back with your followers. Keep up the good work! Hope to see you someday if you ever come down to Sicily to try the worlds oldest race track. “The Targa Floria”
Fk, this is better than gumball
Haha thanks
You hit that paint about 4 different times with the ratchet and screw driver. You also rested the mirror on the paint. 🙄
Ohhhh noes! It's fine
That was way too easy. Can you use a torque bit in a screwdriver instead of a ratchet or will the door be in the way?
Yeah, the door gets in the way and you risk scratching it or stripping the screw.
Didn’t at one point early in your UA-cam career you had available for sale small parts to fix both the wobbly mirrors snd tail lights on F430s? (I am a long time subscriber)…
I never had parts to fix the mirror. We used to sell parts for the tail lights.
Like “100!” Woo
Woohoo!
wobble, wobble !!!
Yup
