If this really is independent then that's pretty pathetic because they put a lot of the same stereotypes that Hollywood does. If this isn't funded by globalist than that would mean the filmmakers copy and pasted a lot of the same formula thinking it was their own artist minds. Like the guys allowing ugly women(were supposed to think are hot) to walk all over them and the guy being portrayed as awkward. Even the things he says that aren't awkward(some stuff) is still portrayed as something we the viewers are supposed find distasteful or lame based on the reactions of those around him. I'm not that far into the movie yet and so far it's not nearly as bad as Hollywood movies...but if added a few extra things to the formula there'd be no reason not to just resort to a Hollywood movie at that point. When people don't know how to make their own art it kind of takes away the whole point of independent films.

It seems to me, and I could be wrong, but having attended the birth of my four children and more than a few Grandchildren, the primary sound inside the machine during the
travel sequences was that of a fetal hearthbeat.
Just finished watching this movie. What a great film! Films like this just prove you don't need 100 million dollars to make a quality movie. Bravo!

Five years after this movie was made an EV cars are everywhere now. All of the major car manufacturers are producing them. ... Even Toyota. This movie is ahead of its time!

Respect to everybody involved in this movie, which I consider a "rough diamond"! Imagine what these guys could produce with an extra $100,000.- or more added to their budget...
I believe that a larger budget could be more of a distraction.

Kudos to Peter D'Amico who was all over the place in this movie. Fantastic music and outstanding
guitar work. I'm going to watch this again, if only for the music. This is not to sleight the cast and
writers who also did a stellar job. This was a superb film.
Yes, he was, Fernesque, Peter D’Amico is the sound of Reset. He wrote the score for the film, and played a big part in all of the sound f/x, including creating his own. I spent many days and nights in his studio just watching him work. In the scene where Glenn walks across the ally in a bathrobe, Peter D, thought it had a western gun fighter look to it, so he composed a similar minded musical piece. In the final garage scene with old Pete, he thought it had a Phantom of the Opera feel, so he wrote a piece with organ music that brings Phantom of the Opera to mind. I could go on and on, but Peter D’Amico’s creative brilliance is there for all to see, hear and feel. Thanks for watching, twice, lol, and for your great comments. SAS

Really good film. Well acted especially by the two leads. Interesting script in what turns out to be a time travel love story. Well worth watching and well done to all involved in the making.
This isn't half bad which means it's twice as good as an average Hollywood production.
Wow!!! Really a good movie for movie lovers and the black and white filming added a lot to it. The lack of special effects would lead one to believe that this was made in the 50's. The pretense that Time Travelers can only alter the past for the time their in it is but really the only thing that changes is you an interesting thought. I to love the fact that it was a low budget film and that no big name actors were involved. Very high on the must watch list.
Well done, kudos to cast and crew. Better than most of bigger budget shows seen. I wish that I could do that, Everyone has regrets....................

I loved this movie. All I the positive things I could say about it have been expressed in the many comments.
Though I'm loathe to admit it :) I grew up in Calgary, and the scene at 12:24 jumped out at me. Sure enough, that strip of road is on 17 Ave in 'Forest Lawn' area, about a 15 minute walk from where I grew up. Kind of cool to see some of the landmarks that I still remember, even after having left it 30 years ago. I've been back since, according to google street view, the bowling alley and 4 seas restaurant are still there, as of May 2017. One weird thing though in the movie it seems that 36 st where the '300 loan for $20' sign is, seems like only 1.5 blocks away, but according to the street view, its almost 3, and cannot even be seen easily when standing in front of the bowling alley 'in street view' at least. Weird visual anomoly. Maybe due to 'time travel' ;) I'm a sucker for time travel movies, watched it all the way through, more scenery from my childhood, that church for the funeral was right across the street from where I went to high school. This movie is worth watching, 'slow' by some standards, but worth it for the analysis of how they treat their discovery and the lengths they go through for love.
The premise is not only clever but the story is told so well. I love how the movie lets the audience know the “time machine” is not working before the main characters with the guy’s still broken leg. The movie has solid emotional payoff. Descent jokes (“time for plan b”). Love it! What else have these guys done??? Links???
Excellent. It did rely on the story, which was pretty awesome I think. And the characters were likeable, well played. It was a good film and one of the best I've seen in a while.
A strong film, good primise, good believable acting, good score, b&w throw back to night of the living dead, great choice!

I must honestly say, that I really enjoyed the movie. The storyline made it actually believable. And that is why I was able to watch it to the end. Great movie, great acting, and the soundtrack for the movie is superb!!! You have to make another one. I look forward to seeing it.

That was BY FAR the best time travel movie I have ever watched - on all levels: script, photography, acting, music etc. It clearly demonstrates that even the thickest budget can't make up for a great idea! 👍

Wow, what a pleasant surprise! I always loved independent movies, but this one was such a great story; well thought out, none of those pesky plot holes. Even the casting was excellent, and the characters thoroughly fleshed out, and well played. I felt invested in the welfare of the main characters pretty early on. Truly better than much of the big-budget Hollywood stuff in the last few years...especially throughout 2020! Award winning stuff here...hope the creators get due recognition. Well done!!!

Yep, I hear you, Parrish Thomas, I think we all would like to travel back in time and change things.. but, as other time travel stories has taught us, once you start pulling on those threads of time, everything starts to unravel, and usually for the worse. 77 was a fun year for me, I’m old enough to remember it. time machine repair man what a great job,get paid every month only do job once.
It wouldn’t be necessary, bc you’d go back in time before it broke down. Or you could go ahead to the Future and get it repaired easily, or get another time machine.
I would go back in time every so often, put the new time machine inside the one I traveled in and bring it back, forwards to my starting point in time.

Low budget and kind of hokey in the beginning, but after development, the ending was worth the wait. Music sounds like Pink Floyd and reaches. A unique perspective and an original plot. Well done overall.

Ricky Walton - Shake your head all you want - maybe you'll shake some sense or good taste into it. If you _honestly_ think (as does uzi1951) that 'The acting was better than most big budget movies.' ....all I can say is, you must be watching comic-book trash and car-chase blockbusters. The acting in this vid is abysmal, almost to the point of being funny (but not).
The last time peet went back in time to save his girl why dodnt his friend go back with the camera 28 days befor and leave the loto ticket info and the warning of 5 16 drunk driver kills your girl? The camera worked showing the reset funeral. Just dont time travel together. I just fixed everything or the camera was a plot hole
Like Colin Paterson wrote earlier, the music really had that Pink Floyd sound, at one point you think you are listening to a Pink Floyd song, incredible!!! The acting was fair and the story was cut short, if you ask me, with an abrupt end. But it's a lot more enjoyable than most low budget movies.

Dear fellow humans, if I gave credentials they would mean nothing. Suffice it to say, I am not just impressed from a technical perspective, I am overawed emotionally. The obvious aspects of script, plot, cast, choice of filmography, etc., aside, this is a wonderful film. I will be sharing it with everyone I know. It is a romantic similar to Primer, equal to any Dr. Who arc. You have inspired me out of a lethargic and sickly modus to have hope in both our species and our culture, and that is no exaggeration. I appreciate the herculean, sysyphian task you've accomplished, and wish fervently more would tread these boards in similar style. Blessings to you and yours. Anything more you have, the world sorely needs. See you after the Reset.

Not sure why you chose black & white, but the cinematography was first rate! Really rich use of all the tones.
I'm a sucker for time travel. This was better than most. Sort of a Deja Vu meets Groundhog Day, except Phil gets to choose to repeat. I like scruffy Peet at the end. Seems like it needs some sort of twist after that involving a clever use of the machine, like he gets to go back and stay with Nikki. Maybe Glenn agrees to unplug the machine after sending him back for the last time?
Aha! Thank you for helping me make sense of this. I guess I got stuck on the fact that they had millions of dollars the one time and then all of a sudden they didn’t and it just was pretty choppy for me. I like the point of it but, maybe I wasn’t watching it closely, but it also seemed a bit confusing for me and I am a sucker for time travel plots.
Absolutely loved this movie. I've thought for a long time about doing this. I got a neurological disease at a young age and not long ago lost my father and the love of my life at different times but still wish I could change things for the better. So we should live very day like it's the last with our loved ones. Because it just may be.

This is the best movie I've seen. Loved every minute and paused it while making dinner. 1:33 minutes in 2:16 minutes, I was also Time traveling.

I'm really glad I came across RESET. Your reasons for making it are on a par with my reasons for making movies. Your's are turning out much better than mine. Peter D'Amico's music is perfect for the moods. The scoring was very smoothly doen.
Zero budget was lower than I even suspected it may have been. Please, make more if you find the time and the inspiration.

This is my third time travel movie today, due to an injured foot.
Others were "Tomorrow Ever" and "Alistair1918", both unique and worth watching.

Forget about the music (although it was extremely good). This was beautiful, and demonstrated the human condition. It left me in shock. I had to return later to make a comment. Thanks (seems stupid to say it), but thanks anyway. That's as good as it gets.
