Kids want to sit around and do nothing, well Dad, is going to change that...get out there and run. The kids have goals: 9-year old twins have to run 1 mile and 4-year Jersey has to run half (1/2) mile. Can they do it? Dad calls them lazy, but will he regret it?

Great seeing the kids getting some exercise which is always important! They all did great! Perhaps focus on building up their stamina first though versus pushing the speed aspect. Exercise doesn’t have to be competitive to be enjoyed, although understand the mentality to succeed can be motivating too. Have fun at the track!

Y’all run the same but if I had to choose I would pick Alexis
They did so well. Ava was reticent at first and then powered through. You can tell Alexis expects a lot of herself. Shell keep pushing herself forward. Jerz is going to be so advanced for his age, keeping up with his big sisters. Good stuff!!

Hey Justin the mile ends for everyone at the same spot. The stagger makes up the circumference difference so that it can end at one spot.

Jersey is such a warrior he’s 4 and he’s running half a mile
I honestly am proud of them and I would actually wanna do this every day. I am a twin and me and my sister love netball and might wanna make it go pro but we are always inside by choice and my twin and I actually love running around. When we were young, instead of sitting down and watching TV, we would climb out of high chairs and march around on then floor. Our oldest sister would just watch us. So now I just wanna say be resilient and never give up. :)

So good. Kids definitely need to get out more especially from the computer, games consoles etc. When I grew up, my parents had us in all sports activities. Good job justin and ami, on teaching them to get out and enjoy running.

This is a goal daddy wants for them! Which might feel more like punishment!! Maybe ask them what is a physical challenge they want to over come and let them do a goal of there own! I think they will have more fun completing a goal that they set!
I struggle with walking one mile. They should have time to build up to a mile. It's a goal to reach over time.... the summer. Stay blessed.

If he regrets saying the kids are lazy as the thumbnail where’s the apology to them. Don’t only say you regret it… tell them you are sorry

Just so you know 4 laps around a track is a mile not 2. And if you start at the numbers when doing 1 lap you end at the finish line you don’t have to end at the numbers

They can all stop running at the finish line. That is how it goes but it is great to see Justin pushing them to the limit. Kids these days don't run around then they become unfit and believe they can't do anything .

I think they both did good no matter what if Ava was running it slow that doesn’t mean nothing that still means she’s fast and Alexis. She was fast too.

This is a good way to keep the kids energized but this is still kind of harsh to call them lazy
Woo hoo! Well done kids! And whoever was in lane 3, ran the farthest! (They all start out staggered to give the outside lanes the same distance as the inside one, but I think they all end up at the same line to finish - someone please fact check me.) So kudos to Alexis in lane 3. 😉

When running a race the finish line is the same distance for everyone. They should all end at alexis’ lane or Jerseys lane since she is lane three. The other two are running a shorter distance then Alexis.
