- Everyone thinks twins are best friends - they are, but they also fight...a lot. Lately, Ava and Alexis, identical twins, have been fighting a lot. Sometimes it seems like they don't even like each other.

As a person with 3 siblings we fought all the time. As we got older we respected each other’s boundaries and got really close. This is all just growing pains and developing boundaries. They will ALWAYS love each other.
That is so true siblings are going to fight that is all apart of life and as they grow they are really going to love and respect eachother and they're never gonna want to be apart I strongly feel like Ava and Alexis will definitely love and respect each other along with jersey ❤
Get use to it from a mother of twins. It's a stage... They need their own space, not physical space, but natural space... Different friends, hobbies, etc... Different is the key word. My girls are now 35! They love each other but they wanted to be treated as individuals. I hope this helps!🙏🏾💅🏾
As a twin, I can agree with you @Monica the main reason we argued growing up was the fact that everyone treated us as if we were 1 person instead of 2 separate individuals. We fought because we needed our own identity instead of being forced to do the same things and have the same clothes and toys. I intentionally failed the entrance exam to a really good j/hs because I didn’t want to go to the same school as my twin sister. I got my wish and I was sooo much happier. There was also little to no fighting between me and my twin because as we got older we were able to have our own separate styles (she dressed very girly and I dressed very tom boyish) separate friends as we went to different schools and I was able to have my own hobbies separate from hers. We are still close to this day.
As a twin this doesn’t help now but they will be best friend again. This bring back memories. My twin brother would just walk by me when I was playing with my dolls and I was ready to fight him. Now as adults we are super close. We became friends again middle school

I remember when Alexis was constantly being patient with Ava, being interrupted and patiently waiting her turn then having to wait for mom or dad to intervene. I think Alexis is trying to establish her boundaries as a sibiling.

Give them time to miss each other. In school they shouldn't be in the same class. It's great they have their own room. Just because they fight doesn't mean they don't love each other.
Yes Justin is right, it is just a sibling thing. I believe anyone who has sisters or brothers has gone thru that and of course you love them. I had a brother that picked on me constantly, he wld just want to annoy me n make me cry. But today we wld do anything for each other...the bond is there for life unbreakable. As for the computer issue, maybe you cld schedule times for each child for the week 🤔 😉 good luck with that. By the way Ava n Alexis you just keep getting more n more beautiful. Your hair is gorgeous and you have a beautiful tan. 😍
This is actually probably healthy that they dont want to be the same and want to set boundaries with eachother as well as have their own idenenties. I say that because ive seen identical twins that cant even function without each other and become very co dependent as adults to the point it affects them with finding relationships and jobs as they get older💕
Aww they'll be just fine. I appreciate this video because I feel a lot of us were worried of the rivalry they were portraying. Justin asked the question I was waiting for..DO THEY LOVE EACH OTHER and they answered that without hesitation. Hopefully this passes and causes NO damage. 🥰🥰
I feel it's part of group, so naturally they will out grow it when they get older, when maturity sets in. But you need to keep talking to them like you are doing, trying to make them understand thing about life. What's good and not, what's acceptable and what not, the of sharing, looking out for each other e.t.c, (which are things that makes up your family values) eventually they'll get the hang of things and get along again, respecting the now established family values.
But most importantly, you as parents shouldn't be seen doing or saying the opposite of those teachings in there presence, cos kids learn faster observing what parents do. Love ❤️ you guys. 🤗🙂

AWWWWWW !!!! I hadn't watched any videos in several yrs from you all and look at them !!!! They're growing up so much !!!! My last vid i remember was w/ their lil brother and he was still "sawed off" maybe a yr old. I remember watching his first hair cut.....WOW !!!!! I now have a couple new granddaughters and grandson's so i totally get it. LOLOL I'll have to go back and catch up on their growing. This is too much fast fowarded !!!!LOLOL God bless you all
Mz. Cynthia here! I think it's a stage they are going through. All those challenges against each other, school, Jersey, new birthday ... yeah, it's natural. I fought with my brothers because I had to watch them all the time. We shared food, though ... and ice cream, candy, stuff. We could pick on each other, but YOU couldn't pick on us! Still ... be a Happy Family!
They'll really get over it and will come to love and respect each other so much. I think it's just the way they are bonding. ❤
I have an identical twin, when were younger , we argued all of the time. Our mother would explained to us do not argue. She had a sister and they never argue. As time went by, we stopped that behavior and went grew to respect each other. We are the best of friends!

I think you guys are doing a great job. The fan who mentioned spending alone time with each of the twins might help them. Ask what they want to do. I would love to see if they choose different things. Away from eachother , like the other fan said may make them appreciate eachother more. Otherwise this may be the way they get along. Mom and Dad. Let them have their own space and they have to respect it. For the big computer... timetable. They are going through growing pains. Certain things you need to be flexible with and certain things they all have to know which is a non-negotiable
You guys are hilarious I grew up with two sisters and we had designated days of the week to do chores, or who rode in the front seat. On Wednesdays I did my laundry and on Saturdays I was able to ride in the front seat

Arguing is normal for simblings the twins are so pretty and beautiful jersey is so smart and I just want to say mom and dad are just so murcher and are fantastic parents the way they stopped the twins when they fight I love watching videos from the Muclure family I am a big fan of y'all the twins are lucky to have such loving sweet parents ❤️❤️

I can’t really speak on the topic on how to resolve siblings fighting because I’m not a parent, but I do have a younger sister. We used to fight all the time when I was in elementary school and she was in preschool. It will get easier once they reach the teen years. I would recommend you let your children try to resolve things on their own, and if the situation gets too dangerous, they can come to you guys on their own, and you can step in and intervene.
Prank them, see how they react. Tell them the other is going to live with auntie forever🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Reminds of my sister and I when we were kids. We are 16 months apart. We fought and fought. Now as adults we can’t get enough of each other.

My younger sister and I used to fight like cats and dogs, and we're not twins! I'm 2.5 years older than she is, but we had to share a bedroom. As we got older, the fighting became less and less, and it finally stopped when we both went away to college....in separate parts of Florida! It gets better, Ami! Give it another 10 years!

This is how sisters are I have there are three of us girls I'm glad they have a new dog but I always miss ace and I know he's not coming back and will never know why but my guess is he must have knocked Jersey down Jersey might have been doing HiYa on him and Ace might of snapped at him .
But he was a really big dog and he was so beautiful but I think with the life they had with their social life he might have been too protective and they have a lot of people around all the time that could have been the reason to so this little dog does work better for them I just want to know that Acr is happy.

I actualy have a sister who is a 9 year old and am 13 and we fight but we have separate room and I think is just part of life💕
Now that they are displaying more individuality, Let them each sit down with you all as mediators and work out a plan for boundaries for their space. Make a chart and help them enforce those boundaries with each other. Mainly being respectful of each others space. Get permission, do not just take with the understanding that sometimes the answer is no. Sharing is good but some things you do not want to share. Let them come up with reasonable non-negotiables. Of course you all are the adults, so final say is yours. Set a computer schedule for all three for the big computer, not negotiable. Hope this helps. Your family is beautiful! Best to squelch some of it now before it gets worse.

I know your pain, my twins fight all day everyday and it's annoying.
When we argued, my parents punished both of us. It taught us to 1) fight quietly🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣, 2) stop annoying each other, 3) problem solve quickly and 4) be respectful to each other.
The punishment was consistent and immediate. I mean on-site. 🤦🏾♀️🤣🤣🤣🤣
As soon as they heard a raised voice, a punishment was coming, no exceptions.🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
This is why the twins fight. When the twins were younger I asked the parents why are you encouraging them to compete so much vs teaching them to love and protect each other? I commented on how the losing twin seemed so crushed. That causes the losing twin to feel awful. Which turns into anger, resentment ect. Now the parents are trying to make the twins look bad and they're the people that stated it all. The twins probably dont understand. It's the parents mistake.
