The best thing to do is get your best gems to rank 5 first before leveling the others to 5. I would only go beyond rank 5 once I get all my magic find bonus. It makes a huge difference when farming for material and gear.
Just a heads up Echo, you can craft and then trade in Mothers Lament gems for Fervent Fangs in the battle archive shop! I believe up to four of them. Just for those looking for more Fervents!

You can also trade 1 mother's lament per day for fervant fang. This option is in empowered battle pass shop, this new thing where you can buy cosmetics. You can say it in your video cause i think that a lot of people don't know that.

Seems like you are going long way around to lock and unlock your gems. You dont have to go into inventory separately to do so. Open then prompt to uograde gem, and you'll see the pad lock from there. Also dont need to replace the gem to a separate gem to upgrade it from 1 to 3 or whichever. You can access you gem bag from jeweler screen (bottom middle tap) and upgrade it from there. Lot of back and forth you did there but you can cut some of those steps down. You're progress is coming along great. Appreciate the vidoes and the walk-through.
You can unlock the gems from the upgrade screen, click the gem and it allows you to unlock it, no need to go back into your bag, it can all be done from the gem upgrade screen!

Yo guys i have a question, i have reached lvl 799 and now im stuck at that lvl with 14k cr could get it up to 14.5 but how do i get to 15.8 seems impossible (im f2p).our whole server is stuck at 799 and we relatively new server so my resonance is low
Cr on primary gear is purely based on paragon lvl, so at 799, you should be able to just slot in any 6 primary items at the max cr, regardless of stats. Can do the same with gems, demonic remains, etc. Forget about stats and set bonuses, just load up with cr. That is only requirement for helliquary bosses. Once you're over recommended cr for it, it's easy mode.
@rorycampion5890 I think you missed the part where he said they're a new server and everyone is stuck at 799. Not that simple to just get a carry when no one else can do it either.
If it was constant, it would be great. But half the time it boosts all skill dmg, other half is primary attack. So even at rank10 with a 24% boost, it's only helping 50% of the time. Other gems like pain clasp, bsj, berserker are always in effect.
In other words, P2W system... It would be nice to include in the title (with 3 plus stars gems) so we wont even trhink that a F2P player could actually get ressonance easy and fast. Kinda click bait title...
I whant to elaborate for exaple for 2/5 star gem you need 50 gem power for rank 2 keep in mind if you have 3 rank 2 star gems it gives you 90 reso and takes 3 rank 2 star gems to give you 90 reso while 2/5 star gives you 110 reso this guide is good if you havent got all 2 star gems to rank 3 and to rank those 2 star gems you need 75 gem power

Just got my pain clasp to rank 10 today. Next is mothers lament and then fervent…. Takes a long time even with 2*s
