LaunchBox/BigBox community is really impressive. With Brain and ETA tutorials they contributed so much. On a different note, since LaunchBox/BigBox is the best frontend on windows and android, hopefully the team is planning a version for linux. Usually linux's versions are used for the low end pcs and the emulation station frontends like barocera are used for that. it will be perfect if we could port our launchbox/bigbox to linux's as well for the low pc's or single board pc's.
Hello, I have applied all the procedure mentioned in the video, but the changes are not applied in LaunchBox. Only the Default and Old themes appear to be available when searching for the theme and applying the changes.
First, make sure that you have a premium license, as custom themes are only available to them. Then, if you are LaunchBox 12.11, you can go to Tools > Manage LaunchBox Themes, for an in-app way of downloading and switching themes.
Have downloaded and unzipped themes, but when I try to use any it will only show the default, not sure why it is not working and I do not see anything in the forum to help. I am on 12.9 btw
This means that when you unzipped the theme, you told windows to create a new folder, creating a Steamy\Steam\[theme files] situation (or a Big Details\Big Details\[theme files]). Is there a way to have box front for consoles and screen shots for arcade? Currently if I choose box front, it changes yo box front for arcade which there are no box fronts so I want to use screen shots for arcade. Any help? Thanks
in LaunchBox, you can change Image Groups on a per platform basis, so you would just need to select your Arcade platform, and switch the Image Group to Screenshots. You could also accomplish this by changing your image priority settings in the LaunchBox options.
Selected Neon Deluxe Arcade but how do I show the fanart background whenever I click/select a game? not open it, but just clicking on it. It was showing up in the default theme.
Some themes act differently than others, depending on what the theme creator codes into it. If you haven't already, I'd recommend making a post over on the Neon Deluxe Arcade thread on the community forums.

You could have started the video saying that custom themes are only available in paid version of LB.

Do they have a per console art background theme? Just thought it would be a nice touch distinguishing the Sega's from the Nintendo's ect.
There would be nothing stopping a user from creating a theme that has platform specific backgrounds, but I don't think anyone has created one.
