Edit: Really regret not letting this Arasaka guard at 3:37 finish his sentence :D Also, really, really, really miss the mod that finished the reload animation if said animation was cut short due to something else. In this case, it's the Projectile Launch System. That mod was simple, but really fucking preem.

@@notting2640 I know Morgan Blackhand is supposed to be this legendary badass, but the only thing keeping V alive at this point was pigheaded stubbornness and determination to spite death itself. I doubt V could beat Blackhand in a straight fight, but unless Blackhand had gone through exactly what V had, staring death in the face literally every minute of every day for months, he wouldn't have a chance of pulling this off.

@@notting2640 Morgan blackhand never managed to kill a less advanced/strong adam smasher. V solos smasher while dying, AFTER soloing most of, if not ALL of arasaka towers security force, he's CLEARLY much stronger.
Doing this specific ending always feels so awesome and badass. Hoping to do this ending again soon with the same mods updated. And of course making a video of it :D
@joeyip1528 I played through after 2.0 on very hard and it just felt right to me. This ending was supposed to be really difficult. When you die, you get credits instead of a load screen.
@@Invincible_FallsDepends on your build really. Grenades do good damage, and have lots of variety at the cost of being slower to use. Launchers are much quicker, and can fire in a burst with the Relic perks in Phantom Liberty, making them really good at crowd control. (Tip: use the launcher with Kereznikov while aiming more towards enemy legs) All in all, I'd say that the Launcher is better suited for a build using assault rifles, LMGs, shotguns, and blades. Whereas grenades pair better with sidearms, sniper rifles, throwing knives, and Netrunning.

@@Invincible_Falls With knives and silenced guns, I recommend grenades. The recon grenade acts as a lure whilst also highlighting enemies like a mini Ping. There's also the EMP grenade to disable enemy cyberware and GASH Antipersonnel to kill enemies at low health. The standard grenade is great for more focused damage on a few enemies at a time because you can pair it with the "Pull!" perk to do more damage when you shoot it mid air. The launcher really only works for a highly aggressive and tanky build that is right in the thick of combat causing mayhem and taking friendly fire from your own explosions. The burst fire from the Relic perks really encourages crowd control/vehicular destruction. And oh yeah, the grenades/launcher are also focused in the left side of the Tech tree. Pyromania perks are some of my favs.
This, plus something poetic about Johnny ends up getting along with a corpo from arasaka and them taking revenge on the corp that threw them out like garbage

I never thought ‘The Lobby Scene’ from the Matrix could be topped until I played this game. It’s like the Grand Master Keanu Reeves has passed on the torch to us
I have yet to get this ending but i was dying of this itch to get it because you cannot believe how incredibly frustrated i was to build up my character to be this best solo netrunning merc that could handle himself after seeing the cruelty of night city from the corpo side and in the street side. Having to only rely on either johnny, the aldecados, to help me live but with sacrifices being made. Then the other two pathetic options to give up my free well to corpos again or rest peacefully, in the end. I was internally screaming "let me just run up in that building and show them what a dying ex corpo merc can do!" I never discovered this secret ending until after finishing the game but i withdrew going back cause news of big updates were coming.... now it's 2024 and they're all finished updating and i got a new dlc to explore. Truly a good year to be a gamer.
Yeah, I get it that they wanted an ending where it's you and Johnny against Arasaka, and for that Johnny must want to do this or whatever, but I really don't like how hidden/difficult to obtain it apparently is lol. It should always be an option, even if Johnny disagrees, because it should be up to V to say "yeah I don't want anyone dying for me today". Also, both Aldecaldos and Rogue endings aren't guaranteed, so I suppose the base game only has Hanako, "ending it" on the roof or the "secret" ending lol.
Finally someone using the PLS with a Sandy too is diabolical, this is the current build im using, usually i use the PLS with a Cyberdeck, uploading overheat and contagion while shooting arm rockets = maximum carnage
I remember doing this shit with an OP melee Sandevistan build and half the fight took place in slow motion and involved people dying before they knew what hit them
I had a coworker that described this to me before I'd seen it, earlier version of the game so it was buggy as shit. It was great because V is tearing ass through people while Johnny T-posed menacingly at them.
I should have done this ending, I built my character as a self-healing block of tungsten with a sandy and that shotgun that sets you on fire but shits out damage, and LMG, and that SMG that shoots fuck tons of bullets. I imagine it probably would have went pretty well, on average I could get around 6 shotgun kills per sandy, and thanks to the axolotl I could jump right back in and keep going, in combination with the blood pump, the heal on kill, and the talents that reduce cooldown, saying it would have went well is probably accurate.
@zakk3le598 I didnt play until after the 2.0 update but I love the melee and don't care about the ammo part because the melee is fun and kinda op and I love it Also the reload after melee is so satisfying
I'm using a mod called Projectile Launch System Rebalanced. It always annoyed me that in promotional videos and in Edgerunners the PLS was portrayed as this really powerful piece of cyberware that could dish out devastating damage, but in game it's barely a fart to higher tier enemies. With the mod you're able to change the explosion damage and AOE values. In this gameplay the cannon was set to the highest amount of damage possible. Against boss enemies the PLS still isn't able to clear chucks of health.
I have just shy of 1000h on PS4+5 but I'm not intimately familiar with the inner workings of this game on PC (yet). Are you using a reshade or upscaled textures or something? Looks too amazing to be true; I mean that in the best way possible. Killer gameplay btw.
I don't think a mod causes V to do the weapon inspect animation The mod Always First Equip might've had an option to make V do said animation more frequently, but I'm not entirely sure

He's completely maxed out at 20, 20, 20, 20, 20 with thousands of perk points spent in total. Keep in mind this is was played on 1.6 so Cold Blood was a thing and made some of the damage dealing aspects a lot stronger. For the Projectile Launch System i used a mod to make it do more damage. Can probably be found on Nexus as well. For the Malorian 3516. I used mods to make the damage higher and firing rate faster.
"Canonical" V would probably be using Mantis Blades with a Sandy of some sort and maybe a Cyberdeck on top of that. Best info we have about Canon V are E3 trailers and such. Hard to say what would be the real canon V

I'm on console so sadly I cant experience the mods But anyways, CDPR should really consider taking notes from this style of HUD and UI for the next game. This actually looks like something reasonable that'd be on your Kiroshi optic.
This HUD mod is based on the E3 HUD that CDPR used in the gameplay showcases. It really is just better. Even tho the HUD mod used in this video doesn't exist anymore, at least i think so.

By "Lore Accurate" i mean playing like the "Canonical V". Canonical V or the "Official V" would be the V that we see in promotional art, trailers etc. The V that is in the official story of 2077. Edit: I'm slightly intoxicated so this answer may not entirely comprehendible. My apologies.
I believe it means how V would be portrayed in the source material. For V to accomplish what they did in any ending of the game the act of defeating Adam Smasher in head on combat on Smasher's own turf makes V one of the most dangerous and capable people in the lore of Cyberpunk that we know of. Morgan Blackhand being the other who I personally don't know if he (Blackhand) has ever actually beaten Smasher to the point of being able to kill him like V does in all the endings. So being "Lore Accurate" means portraying V in this way. By the end of their story as an unstoppable terrifying presence on the battlefield.

This older footage. Most likely patch 1.63 or something like it. So probably the QianT Warp Dancer Sandevistan. The arms come from the mod Arasaka Cyberarms. The left one is the DeusFlex2 and the right one is the Arasaka Arm.

This is an older versio of Cyberpunk. Most likely 1.63 or something along those lines. You can find more up-to date mod lists from my more recent videos. Since some of the mods used in this older version no longer work or are no longer needed. I've been trying to make a video about the builds used in these videos and i'm still very much in the beginning stages. Doing my best to get it out eventually. I started work again and thus have less time and energy. And the winter season doesn't really help with that either :P
I would agree that "canonical" V would have Mantis Blades Thus I use them in most videos and in general. Plus they're sick as fuck and are the epitome of Kitch.
I used a mod to adjust the damage. Projectile Launcher Rework let's you change a bunch of settings about said Cyberware. I'm not entirely sure if it works properly cause when i tested the mod "recently". It sometimes caused the PLS to have no cooldown between shots. Still a cool mod that makes the PLS actually worth using

Why do you think this game exists? The whole point of the story is V becoming the legend they desire to be. And for you to try to immerse yourself in this world and story. Smasher is undoubtedly strong, one of the strongest and an interesting character. And one of the cornerstones of the Cyberpunk world. But V is meant to be stronger. Still probably not the strongest. I.E: Alt Cunningham, Song So Mi, Morgan Blackhand. Sure the game doesn't do Smasher justice. At least not the vanilla experience. But he shouldn't be a spider monkey on crack that is near impossible to beat for the average player. That's why we have mods like Enemies of Night City. Which makes his boss fight decently if not very hard. Granted this video is pretty shit ngl (I'd check out the more recent ENC Adam video. It offers a way better representation of what Smasher should be like.) I actually had the same opinion as you for some time. But it's not really all that valid since the game is an explicit example of that. I know he is literally unkillable in the TTRPG. And it does show how insanely dangerous Adam is. But the player characters aren't meant to be 10/10 legends like some other characters. One final thing to consider is that the real Adam Smasher probably hasn't existed for a long time. Instead I'd say it's likely that he is dead already. Since he is an invaluable asset to Arasaka. They would have probably made sure that they couldn't lose him. Meaning he's been Soul Killed and his engram was uploaded back to his original brain. The important part here is that Arasaka would probably keep copies of his Engram in secure storage. It might be flimsy, but it is mentioned a couple of times that Smasher has the "habit of coming back from the dead". What enforces me to believe this might be the case is the fact that Smasher is such an important character for the Cyberpunk universe. He is too important & cool to leave dead at the end of 2077. And it is something I could see Mike Pondsmith doing. Anyways Choom, have a nice day :)

Last time i did "secret" ending run was with blade build where i went Jetstream Sam on their asses. Cool to see Malorian + Launcher wrecking chaos
Something about the Malorian 3516 & PLS combo resonated with me. I plan on doing a blade version of this when patch 2.0 and PL come out.

I had a coworker that described this to me before I'd seen it, earlier version of the game so it was buggy as shit. It was great because V is tearing ass through people while Johnny T-posed menacingly at them.
I don't quite know how to describe it. But Pre 2.0 combat just flows differently. Certain things about it were worse. And some things were way better.
I should have done this ending, I built my character as a self-healing block of tungsten with a sandy and that shotgun that sets you on fire but shits out damage, and LMG, and that SMG that shoots fuck tons of bullets.
I imagine it probably would have went pretty well, on average I could get around 6 shotgun kills per sandy, and thanks to the axolotl I could jump right back in and keep going, in combination with the blood pump, the heal on kill, and the talents that reduce cooldown, saying it would have went well is probably accurate.

Definitely should've used it more. This was pre 2.0 so the attack didn't even consume all of the ammo. I do use it more now
@zakk3le598 I didnt play until after the 2.0 update but I love the melee and don't care about the ammo part because the melee is fun and kinda op and I love it

Is the launcher modded, or how do you get this high damage?
I'm using a mod called Projectile Launch System Rebalanced. It always annoyed me that in promotional videos and in Edgerunners the PLS was portrayed as this really powerful piece of cyberware that could dish out devastating damage, but in game it's barely a fart to higher tier enemies.
With the mod you're able to change the explosion damage and AOE values. In this gameplay the cannon was set to the highest amount of damage possible.
Against boss enemies the PLS still isn't able to clear chucks of health.

I have just shy of 1000h on PS4+5 but I'm not intimately familiar with the inner workings of this game on PC (yet). Are you using a reshade or upscaled textures or something? Looks too amazing to be true; I mean that in the best way possible.

I don't think a mod causes V to do the weapon inspect animation
The mod Always First Equip might've had an option to make V do said animation more frequently, but I'm not entirely sure

As for V in this gameplay. He's completely maxed out at 20, 20, 20, 20, 20 with thousands of perk points spent in total. Keep in mind this is was played on 1.6 so Cold Blood was a thing and made some of the damage dealing aspects a lot stronger.
For the Projectile Launch System i used a mod to make it do more damage. Can probably be found on Nexus as well.
For the Malorian 3516. I used mods to make the damage higher and firing rate faster.

"Canonical" V would probably be using Mantis Blades with a Sandy of some sort and maybe a Cyberdeck on top of that.
Best info we have about Canon V are E3 trailers and such. Hard to say what would be the real canon V

I'm on console so sadly I cant experience the mods But anyways, CDPR should really consider taking notes from this style of HUD and UI for the next game. This actually looks like something reasonable that'd be on your Kiroshi optic.
This HUD mod is based on the E3 HUD that CDPR used in the gameplay showcases. It really is just better.
Even tho the HUD mod used in this video doesn't exist anymore, at least i think so.

I'm not following what you mean by "Lore Accurate." It confuses me greatly (I have ASD). Can you please explain?
By "Lore Accurate" i mean playing like the "Canonical V". Canonical V or the "Official V" would be the V that we see in promotional art, trailers etc. The V that is in the official story of 2077.
Edit: I'm slightly intoxicated so this answer may not entirely comprehendible. My apologies.
I believe it means how V would be portrayed in the source material. For V to accomplish what they did in any ending of the game the act of defeating Adam Smasher in head on combat on Smasher's own turf makes V one of the most dangerous and capable people in the lore of Cyberpunk that we know of. Morgan Blackhand being the other who I personally don't know if he (Blackhand) has ever actually beaten Smasher to the point of being able to kill him like V does in all the endings. So being "Lore Accurate" means portraying V in this way. By the end of their story as an unstoppable terrifying presence on the battlefield.

This older footage. Most likely patch 1.63 or something like it. So probably the QianT Warp Dancer Sandevistan.
The arms come from the mod Arasaka Cyberarms.
The left one is the DeusFlex2 and the right one is the Arasaka Arm.

I've been trying to make a video about the builds used in these videos and i'm still very much in the beginning stages. Doing my best to get it out eventually. I started work again and thus have less time and energy. And the winter season doesn't really help with that either :P

WHY does your projectile launch system do 155,000 damage
I used a mod to adjust the damage.
Projectile Launcher Rework let's you change a bunch of settings about said Cyberware.
I'm not entirely sure if it works properly cause when i tested the mod "recently". It sometimes caused the PLS to have no cooldown between shots.
Still a cool mod that makes the PLS actually worth using

If this was actually lore accurate Smasher would have ended V in under a minute as good as V is realistically they stand no chance against Adam
Why do you think this game exists?
The whole point of the story is V becoming the legend they desire to be. And for you to try to immerse yourself in this world and story.
Smasher is undoubtedly strong, one of the strongest and an interesting character. And one of the cornerstones of the Cyberpunk world.
But V is meant to be stronger. Still probably not the strongest.
I.E: Alt Cunningham, Song So Mi, Morgan Blackhand.
Sure the game doesn't do Smasher justice. At least not the vanilla experience. But he shouldn't be a spider monkey on crack that is near impossible to beat for the average player.
That's why we have mods like Enemies of Night City. Which makes his boss fight decently if not very hard. Granted this video is pretty shit ngl
(I'd check out the more recent ENC Adam video. It offers a way better representation of what Smasher should be like.)
I actually had the same opinion as you for some time. But it's not really all that valid since the game is an explicit example of that.
I know he is literally unkillable in the TTRPG. And it does show how insanely dangerous Adam is. But the player characters aren't meant to be 10/10 legends like some other characters.
One final thing to consider is that the real Adam Smasher probably hasn't existed for a long time.
Instead I'd say it's likely that he is dead already. Since he is an invaluable asset to Arasaka. They would have probably made sure that they couldn't lose him.
Meaning he's been Soul Killed and his engram was uploaded back to his original brain. The important part here is that Arasaka would probably keep copies of his Engram in secure storage.
It might be flimsy, but it is mentioned a couple of times that Smasher has the "habit of coming back from the dead".
What enforces me to believe this might be the case is the fact that Smasher is such an important character for the Cyberpunk universe. He is too important & cool to leave dead at the end of 2077.
And it is something I could see Mike Pondsmith doing.
