Always enjoy these guide videos. Also, I’m doing a little bit better with the magic keys now that I’m understanding the combos and how to make all use of them.
This is going to be a bit of a long one, so please bare with me. So, I am a die hard old school Yu-Go-Oh! fan, and never really got into the new meta stuff. Never even watched the anime beyond GX. Ever since I laid my eyes upon these cards and this magnificent game, I fell in love with the Red-Eyes Black Dragon. The way he looks(the OG artwork), his place in history of Yu-Gi-Oh!, and his path in the anime really made me love this card more than any other. Been carrying a copy of that card in my wallet for a while now. Anyways, as I said, I am an old school guy and I never really grasp the inspiration for these new decks and stuff, they are solid and everything, but I have absolutely no personal connection to them, which makes it not fun for me to play them. I got over Master Duel pretty fast, reached the Master rank with a Cyber Dragon deck within the first few weeks of the existence of the game. I also got pretty far with Cyber Dragon on Duel Links, because that is my second favourite deck to play and my favorite card from the GX arc. And also because Red Eyes was just always all over the place. Master Duel got super boring with me waiting for 5-6-7 minutes while opponents build up their boards and stuff, so while for many the Skills in Duel Links are some sort of cheating, I stuck to that game, because it's quicker and allows old school fans to play a bit more simple without overcomplicating things with thousands of hand traps etc. So, I stopped playing for a short while, and when I came back to Duel Links I realised, that I had forgotten to save my progress and all the cards and achievements that I had gotten prior to that. Starting back from square one, I saw that there is a new Red-Eyes card and a new skill. Since I've been a Red-Eyes guy all my life, I have watched so many videos with people explaining how to play the archetype, and then I stumbled across this video. Kind sir, this is a true masterpiece. I've never felt so confident and relaxed while playing Red-Eyes ever. I am on my way to completing the deck and even without a card or two, I am already going strong with it. So what I wanted to say with this long comment, is just f'ing thank you. This deck has a solid structure, it is versatile and most importantly - really really fun to play. I still believe people regard Red-Eyes as a rather weak deck/archetype in Duel Links and in general, so I really regret not being able to see their faces, when I overwhelm them with ways of saving myself and counterattacking, while they certainly think they've got me. A brilliant, brilliant job with this video and the way you explain how to play the deck. Again, thank you very much. And I hope Red-Eyes remains kinda low key for at least a little more time, because I never really encounter any other Red-Eyes players and it's just enormous fun to win against all kinds of decks with this rather old school set up. I'm curious to see how far I can go with the deck, will keep you updated, should I achieve anything significant with it. Cheers and all the best for you and your channel!
Whenever I build a deck from scratch I always try to find the way the cards themselves want to be played, and by doing that alongside using deck building knowledge in general, I can come to a version of a deck that feels fluid and that makes sense, and from there I just have to figure out if its strong enough because I believe if you have to sacrifice fluidity for strength then it's probablyttime to just wait for support. I really think this red eyes deck is one of my best and I think it's still a really solid deck, and apart from the people who have watched this video people arent gonna be playing it like this, they'll probably be trying to fit generic cards that dont fit and lead to bricks. Because of that the community is going to keep sleeping on it, and that's kinda perfect for red eyes players because every time they win its gonna be an underdog win. This deck could definitely get you to king of games me, definitely let me know if you do. -undead
A very well executed video. Very glad that I subbed to you folks. Altho I will say, it's going to be hard for me not to play Archfiend Black Skull Dragon. I know it's not necessary, but I don't have Linkuriboh at the moment (idk if I would still play it over skull d), so I'll have to compensate somehow. Yeah, you can't summon the archfiend normal monster, but you were never doing that to begin with.
Ngl this is the best I've seen for red eyes. Tbh this red eyes deck really just feels like an alternative to using ursarctics. But this one definitely has bigger bodies and is easier to play.
Tenyi player had game : - Baxia (not in EMZ) shuffle flare metal and the backrow - Vishuda bounce a Red-Eyes B Dragon - Baxia pop Beserker, revive Adhara -> Blue triggers, revive Beserker, pop the last red-eyes => game (he can also make Shaman to pop the piercing the darkness if he is afraid of a battle hand trap) Basically, you can win with any deck if you're playing against bad opponents
He made plenty more mistakes than just that but to be real with you bro at a certain point I decided not to spend several hours on ranked trying to get the most absolutely perfect opponents because ranked is not the place to find those opponents, so I just get the 3 most entertaining replays I get as early as possible and use them, it's not necessarily about the opponent, but about the decisions you make in the moment that I've been told are what they want from the replay section, as at a certain point I asked people what they liked about the replay section, because I considered cutting them from guides due to the fact that the rest if the video tells you what you need to know about the deck anyway. -Undead
Can you please also tell where to get these cards? from which box, and are these accessible for new players? everything is blurry on the buildling the deck sections

Being a meta slave isn't fun after a while. I played since 2019 just been building meta decks. Now i get the most joy winning with a archetype i like, and i hate mirror matches. I mean I have have this year's meta's built, but I feel like it's just a mundane job playing them.
@@haphazardprism A rogue deck is only fun if it doesn't cost as much as a Meta deck. Ironically Red Eyes cost way more than some meta decks currently. But I do agree with what you mean. Playing a tiered deck means more chances of mirror matches eg Tenyi Yubel BLS. Rokkets were the only I didn't face much Mirror competition.
@@santanu-fr decks get power crept in duel links constantly. My favorite "rogue" decks are old meta tbh but My megalith deck is pretty unknown. Thanks for kind of seeing this my way though.

I have a Refractive Flare dragon since forever 😂. Im gonna try this
you can use dragons mirror instead of necro fusion

If fusion monsters aren't important to this play style, why do we run 3 copies of necro fusion? Please help thanks.
