Drone parameters will not change from beginning mode
Just had one delivered! Drones have come a long way over the last 10 years lol! Super easy to fly and ultra durable (crashed hard 3 times so far and not a scratch)
May sound like a stupid question, but how do you turn the controller off? This is my first drone - I've never flown one before. I got it over a month ago, charged it up and then put it back in the case.The units paired just fine but I couldn't figure out how to get it going, and figured I'd put it up and wait for my son to come over to help get it going. The drone turned off just fine, I closed the app, and this controller will not shut down. I press the power key once and it says key to off. then it tries to connect again. I long press on the controller and it does the same thing. It finally turned off after 5 minutes, but it'd be nice to know how to power it down immediately.
To turn it off, you tap the power button and then when the screen lights up, hold the power button and it will shut down. Same thing to turn it back on.
Please short press the button once, then hold it to turn off the transmitter. Hope my reply can help you.
@@holystonedrone Finally got the time to start working with the drone. Having issues with the calibration - it does not seem to be calibrating correctly and it took off by itself and then hit the ground, bending one of the propellers, which we are fixing now. Do you have some kind of video tutorial that goes through set up step by step?
@Fr33d0mGirl the props are marked specifically for the arm. Calibration is easy. Just two joysticks ↗️↖️ then spin the drone, on a flat surface, 360° horizontal and vertical. Put it back down and two joysticks again ↘️↙️
How long does the charging take for the drone batteries ( also what does the mic do on the app?)
It takes about 3 hours. The microphone icon is a voice control function, which can perform simple flight instructions.
I finally took mine out of the box I assume it's the same as what it says on the overlay card HS 360 s it's been in this box since July so of course I have no idea what is wrong
App does not connect with Android phone

What's with all that wobble in the video mode? I have a Dji mini 2 se and it's smooth as butter, this thing shakes like jelly
No gimble or electronic image stabilizer. Still pretty decent if you fly it smoothly enough.
How can I use the VR mode if I need the phone to be plugged in with the controller?

Gotta restart the app when you put in a freshly charged battery. Otherwise the app will continue to show the previous battery level. Just sayin’.
What aftermarket remote/radio works with this drone?
The battery on mine was low so I returned is to the ground but in the process auto land took over due to low battery and it crashed now one of my motors is warped. Does anyone know if this is covered under warranty or how to fix it
Do I need to charge battery first
Yes you do. Mine came with a small charge, but it’s recommended that you fully charge it before the first flight. A full charge takes about 3 hours

I calibrate mine once which seems ok as long as controller is not shut off. I don’t recalibrate when switching battery.

Hey I am a newbie too just unboxing and going thru instructions. The button you refer to is RTH (return to home, bringing the drone back to your point of takeoff. As I understand there are several mods it can do this in.. it’s all in your manual pg 27 in mine).

My drone HS fly doesn't work. I have all permissions on and I have tried to re-install and delete the app. It doesn't work. It says error open app permissions. I have a pixel 8 pro

I recently purchased a Holy Stone HS360S drone from Amazon Canada. I am able to pair the controller and the drone. I am also able to calibrate it as per the manual. However, I am not able to make it take off. Each time I press the take off button on the app it asks me to unlock it and then click take off but it does not work. I tried unlocking it via the controller as well.
Please advise
The same thing's been happening to mine. First I needed to get the SD card for the camera to come on, then I did everything the manual and the tutorial videos showed and still I can't make it take off!
@@Mikebh89 That is pretty strange. I did not have a micro SD inserted on the drone but the camera transmitted pictures properly. Did you manage to set the drone from GPS mode to atti mode?
If you want to unlock this drone indoors, please exit GPS mode first. If you're outdoors, you can unlock and take off the drone directly. Hope my reply can help you.

First time use. All batteries charge to 100%, press the power button on the controller, display days battery is charged... then it turns off. Why?
Press and hold the power button again after, 1 short press shows battery, 2nd long press turns it on
Camera on mine doesn't show what it seeing on the phone. 100 bucks you get what you pay for I guess. Flies great just can't take pictures, which defeats the whole purpose

I had to allow access to my photos and “trust” the device on my phone before it synced up perfectly from there on out

how are the camera images ? i used to have a dji mavic mini 1 and images were pretty good. i got one of these i bought for $107 with tax. hoping the pictures are decent.

Home is where You LAST took off.
May be different from your beginning takeoff.

just give it sometime and calibrate the compass again
The compass, every couple flights I had to do the recalibration. 😂 the controller even says so.

How far wil the holy stone 440 fly and can u fly them at the beach with the hard winds
Both of these are not recommended for flying at the beach. If you must choose, please use HS360S within the visual range of the beach.
How do you charge the transmitter? I don't have the block that's in tjis video to charge the transmitter?

You can use any 5v 1-2amp charger with a USBC to USB A cable ! You know how to read right??
OMG just crashed it not easy to fly definitely not as nice and smooth as dji I already broke the drone cause when it started flying it just flew to the trees without me having any control over it. SMH

This is thecsame drone as sjrc f5s plus but more expensive and without a 2 axis gymbal !! Why you guys dont put the same camera and gimbal? That will make the videos much shaky and this drone deserve it! I guess beeing expensive its ok since your brand gives more warranty than sjrc but cmon without a 2 axis gimbal? That's stupid.

Hello. I'm sure this is a great budget drone. I watch several reviews on the drone by persons with a lot more experience than myself, and I decided to pull the trigger on Amazon. I received my drone a few days ago. It came with a defective controller. When I press the power button it will show me the battery power (100%, it's fully charged!) but then it just goes blank! I have held it down for 10-20 seconds, even a minute! It just does not want to stay on! Today would have been it's maiden flight. Not every RC Cars/Drones/Airplanes/Boats/Helicopters arrives perfect. Amazon is sending me a new one. keeping my fingers crossed.

@thisisjoehill6403 no it has a sim card....it turns out it is an issue w android. If you have a Apple then your fine. But if your one of the thousands that have android then your out of luck.
not a great done,it won't even go farther than 6,000 feet. It won't respond to the newest update. Not worth what I've invested! Very disappointed.

my transmitter won’t turn on
By transmitter, do you mean controller. Hit the power button one and then hold it down for 4-5 seconds. it will turn on.
And also turn the drone on at the same time and wait 40 seconds util the GPS connection pops up.
