Thank you very much for your useful content! Of course we want and a second one video about it📍 I wanted to say you that I have discovered your channel yesterday with the first video being the book references and essentials! Your stuff is diamond! 💎 I have some side experience about the profession of architecture but I want to teach myself interior design without a degree! I wanted to ask you, which 2-4 books do you suggest to study for having the essential knowledge and be ready for the industry?
More on specifications. How important is this for residential design since codes really are not that stringent for residential design (in the U.S., that is)
Despite the level of of stringency which the code has for residential projects, there is an ethical requirement for each designer to be aware of the specifications of the materials they use as this will have an impact on the users during the life span of a building or a room. One example that I would like to highlight is the use of materials with low or zero VOC, notice that this is not related to the obvious ticket items such as appearance or cost which is what most people would focus on. However, not prioritizing this in your project would actually lead to health issues for the residents. Its about giving real value to your clients and providing them with the comfort that you're looking after them not only in the short term but in the long term as well. Good luck! :)
You made another helpful video, lovely! But for the case on how to get to know the materials..... In my country, some companies often have this question in the interview, "how many brands do you know abt (name material)?" It's easy to find in the place called building material stores, as the brands gathering together in one place. But, it's quite hard when I try to search on website T_T
Hi Aseel , I have done my civil engineering and did a diploma for 1year in interior design, I'm have never got proper chance to work on jobs.Thinking to freelance interior design as my situations don't support to do job now and learn on the go and to start the blog on design. Can you suggest me something that helps? Never faced the work in practical but have no chance to work from office now
Hi Aseel . I am interior design student and i love your channel and the subjects that you choose , but i can't understand everything , can you add arabic subtitel? I hope that . Thank u very much
Asked, in one of your videos you stated you have ADHD. I'm in the process of getting diagnosed. I'm also n interior designer that wants to start my own business. Although, this daunting to me because of ADHD. I'm afraid that I won't be able to keep up, or drop the ball completely. Any advice you can offer due to your own struggles?
Hey Robin, thank you so much for confiding in me, I was only diagnosed 2 months ago and my life has changed positively after being on meds. Yes it was a struggle before the meds and I did drop the ball a couple of times but I have learned so much of my failures and I wouldn't change a thing about my mistakes. Don't let fear stop you, if you do have ADHD you have an advantage that you can hyper focus if you are interested in a topic, which is honestly a superpower! If you are interested, let the dopamine guide you and follow your instinct not your fear. Best of luck to you, can't wait to witness your creativity! :)

Thank you!! Glad you liked it
Mam, what is the workflow for an interior designer for working, like where to start from, what to do, how to start a project, and all?
Are there any types of builder grade materials to chose from for a full rehab that are worth using to stay on budget?
