I still have my DDJ SZ I love it. I’ve had it serviced 1 time and imo this is the best pioneer has made. I do like some of the new features on the newer models but I’ll stick with a classic reminds me of my 1200s
most of these new features on this controller hv been available ton VDJ since stems 1.0. This controller has a few more buttons to make stems control easier mainly for serato and rekorndbox. Nothing new for vdj users and vdj has the cleanest stems over them all.

It seems like it’s worth spending 1/3 more to get the XZ as it’s not just a very expensive controller and then you don’t have to bother with a laptop apart from when you want 3+ decks. I really hope they update the XZ soon though with a much better screen like the R3 or Opus. I wonder when rekordbox stems will actually sound good enough to use (like the competition)

As a club DJ I am not a fan of the FLX10. I have the DDJ-1000 rekordbox version, and I bought it because it was the closest thing to buying a CDJ setup. The day I'll get one of these is the day that this stuff becomes the club standard. This is partially due to being visually Impaired, so if this floats your boat, go for it.
Im waiting on backorder for the DDJ 1000 right now. Would it be a better deal to just change the back order to this? Its like another 300 bucks but either way it's on back order too.
Are you in NYC or around the Tri-State area… I have an almost brand new mint condition 1000 Srt … when I bought it about 3 weeks later after that I bought the Rane One and eventually the Rev 7 so I don’t really use it at all and I ended up using it 4 times during those 3 weeks and always at home hence it looks Mint condition and plays like brand new…. Let me know if you’re interested.
Okay so it doesn’t have the recorded marker mode in the center anymore? I only play with my markers on the screen. If it doesn’t then that sucks because if the platter doesn’t move then how would you keep track of the part of the song that you may perhaps want to beat juggle??
You probably need to update Serato, or is it even popping up with any type of firmware update. My srt 1000 did that before and even did it before a gig.

you are better off upgrading to an XZ or a CDJ setup. an XZ is essentially this but with a screen so no laptop needed

I’m up in the air between the Flx 10 or a used 1000 srt. Being able to map the Flx10’s features onto an srt might just be the solution I need.

Wait a sec, not the first Stems on the EQ... Virtual DJ had Stems on the EQ back in 2020.
