Great video and the step by step with emphasis on the alignment is great.
I noticed at 1:39, it showed the length of the pocket lining as 20cm, looks much longer than that. What should be the length of the pocket lining?
Really good tutorial, however just a small point to highlight, your pocket lining measurement is off, you have 20cm stated as the length but it isn't long enough, it should be more like 40cm for it to give you any meaningful pocket size.
Not necessarily if it’s a trouser pocket. Depends on the function and placement of the pocket.
I was noticing the same thing. The dimension shown, and the actual fabric length are not possibly congruent with each other.
Thank you for this tutorial. The finished pocket is beautiful.
As I worked on this pocket I discovered the 20cm for the lining is half of the length. Cut pieces should be 20cm on the fold or 40cm cut in a single layer for a pocket deep enough to put a wallet in. A list of the dimensions used for fabric, interfacing and lining would be helpful.
