Wow, tough choice. I love the clarity and attack of the spruce, but there is something about the warm tone of the cedar that balances out the overall sound for me. The tonal quality of both is just superb 😮
I'm getting the distinct impression you might be more of a cedar man! There's no denying the draw of a good cedar top and these 60DT models do it so well. Perhaps it's the extra layer of cedar that lines the inside of the back?
