I spent well over $40 on some protein cereal for today's video. We picked up magic spoon and Premier protein cereal to review. Surprisingly enough Magic Spoon gives us a run for our money! Turns out not all protein cereals are created equal. What are your thoughts on healthy cereal and if you've tried these protein cereals which is your favorite?

Kellogs touch of cinnamon with fairlife skim. 59g bowl. 210 cals 15g protein. With milk it's 290 cals 28g protein. This cereal actually takes good and its cheap
They use cricket powder.
I can't eat eggs and absolutely love cereal, so I have been eating Magic Spoon for like 6 months now while training for a bodybuilding competition. The sticking to your teeth texture is a bit different compared to regular cereal, but it isn't nearly as bad as the video makes it seem in my opinion. Most of the magic spoon flavors taste way better than Premier Protein too. The price is the biggest downfall for Magic Spoon though, $10 per box is STEEP.

I enjoyed your puff cereal recipe that you made btw. You should make another protein cereal and rate them alongside these other cereals and compare prices. You shatter them, good sht man.

Thank you for the review! I love the classic cereals (cocoa puffs, frosted flakes, fruit loops, cinnamon toast crunch) but I'm getting older and noticing my body don't like it as much as I do haha. Thinking of trying this due to their money back guarantee and this real review def helps so thanks! Very well put together.

premier protein takes it for me too, but i cut up half a banana and 3 strawberries into mine and chow down pre workout with some greek yogurt and coffee. i love the stuff

I got the same variety pack and found the cocoa and peanut butter to be not good at all. BUT I thought the fruity tasted exactly like fruit loops, and I thought the frosted tasted like the marshmallows from lucky charms! Honestly can't get enough of those two flavors!
Premier Protein cereal is even available here in Canada. I love it. It’s about $17.00 Canadian…so wayyyyy cheaper than Magic Spoon.
Premier needs to get this cereal in either Walmart/Sams or Target asap.

Premier cereal is gross and damn near unedible. I bought some. Ate two bites and threw away the whole double box
I’m sold on the premier protein cereal! Saw it at Costco one time. And agreed on the magic spoon review - I ordered it twice and I couldn’t get myself to finish my last few boxes (gave one of them away). The roof of my mouth actual starts to hurt and I also get that sticky/gummy texture as you keep eating it. I might as well mix special K with plain protein powder and almond milk for something anabolic 😅
The roof of my mouth was raw after too! Haha thats how i feel about the protein cereal with premier. Honestly you pay for convenience but it doesnt take much to make it at home. Let me know how the premier protein cereal goes for you!
@@JasonAlexanderKim yeah, I only noticed it when I had another bowl. I actually enjoyed PB the most out of all of them but still a “no” for a rebuy. And yes! I’m gonna look for it today at my local Costco haha. And great vid! Looking forward to more reviews 🙌

I actually love it I think it tastes just like fruit loops.
Choc cookie tastes like Cookie Crisp. I’m happy with this for no sugar and low carbs with higher protein 🤷🏻♀️

You should compare to kashi go original not rlly marketed as super high proteun but its like 210cal for 17 g p and compare that to diy puffed grains w/ fav protein powder and flavorss
I defo prefer frosted and peanut butter. I recently tried a maple waffle, cinnamon and cookies and cream they were decent. Didn’t really dig the cocoa, fruity or blueberry. They got a new Apple cinnamon and pumpkin I’m curious to try them out.

Try the Wonderworks cereal from General Mills, they're available right at Walmart. Low carb, high protein, actually taste good

SchoolYard Snacks is definitely my favorite protein cereal! Add it to some Kamut Puffs for some crunch!

@@JasonAlexanderKim Best flavor is peanut butter! Definitely pricey tho (come in 100 calorie snack bags for $2.50 each), but that is why I add them on top of a big bowl of Kamut puffs. I know they make Cheese Puffs too, but I haven't tried those.

I bought the Premier at Wal-Mart last night. It was only like $2.95 for small/mid sized box.
Buyer beware. I ate like 2 bowls, one of chocolate and one of Strawberry. Had crazy stomach problems when I went to bed. Felt a little barfy when I got up.

To be honest I saw this sponsered thru Buff Dudes channel awhile back and bought it once only, I will admit, the cereal is not bad it’s good however I’m a poor guy lmao I can’t lie, $10 a box is pretty expensive. Luckily I came across a $4 box of Kelloggs Protein cereal that comes in a family size box, it’s 210 calories and 15gm protein a serving. Now I was adding whey to almond milk but found some Silk made a protein soy milk that’s 20gm of protein and 160 calories. I add a little cinnamon to my cereal and it tastes good, it’s basically plain, wheat taste with a super light taste of honey. Since then I stuck with it. Maybe give it a try when you can!
Someone else had mentioned the kellogs cereal too and its got me intrigued. But overall Def way more cost effective ways to get your protein cereal in!
Yeah I eat the same cereal. Kellogs touch of cinnamon, it tastes WAAAAAAY better than these other cereals and its cheap as hell.

But, I found this cereal at Walmart. They had this flavor and a Chocolate flavor.
It was a little cardboardy in texture to me.
But, I liked it and it made me want to explore other protein cereals and, thanks to this video, I’ll probably pass on Magic Spoon.
The chocolate one is so good I ate that one this morning and I dig into it loved it I do agree that the fruity one taste like literally chalk there was no flavor in it at all

Premier Protein Cereal has awesome macros but it tastes awful. At this point I buy it just for the macros. Tip: Add a spoon of greek yogurt and will help.

I tried premier protein and it was my least favorite cereal I've ever tasted. I don't remember what flavor I tried but I remember it was ok and then the after taste was sour. Sour??? I just got magic spoon today I will try it at lunch.

I mean this is a cereal for the health conscience. Not the taste connoisseurs. But you do have the option to add a pinch of sugar. Still more healthy than name brand cereal.
I dont think I could ever get myself to buy $10 box of cereal. Its just too easy to make protein cereal with a protein shake and regular cereal!

I actually didnt mind the texture too much but the cereal really did stick to my teeth. Also peanut butter is probably their worst flavor.

So, I don’t like the premier protein cereal. The flakes are similar to pistachio shells… once they soak, it gets much better but at first they are shells to crunch through

These ratings are harsh. Most flavors are at least a 7 for me. My top 4 though in no order are Fruity, Blueberry, cocoa, and a tie between peanut butter and cinnamon so top 5.
If you go into the cocoa thinking it’s cocoa and NOT chocolate you’ll enjoy it more. I was thinking it’d be chocolate flavor and was a bit disappointed but that’s my fault cuz the label doesn’t say chocolate 😅🤣

Why are all these anti magic spoon videos popping up for me now? I don't eat cereal and I am not on a keto diet. It looks like Magic Spoon did not pay enough UA-camrs to pretend to like their product. Even with the negative reviews, it still seems like a decent product for the right people. If you like the taste and marcros and can afford it, what's the harm?
