I know this is an older comment, but I have to share this where the girl will never see it and get her feelings hurt. I live in Western Oregon, and I hired a young lady to work at a bar. One evening, she is crying softly after a few drinks. I asked her what was wrong. She says, "My heart is breaking for all those people on the East Coast. They will probably never get to see the ocean!! They are so far away from it and we can drive one hour to see it. It's so unfair!" I asked her to please repeat the area these people live in and she wouldn't feel so sad. She said East Coast several times but decided I was just being rude and didn't care about those poor people 😂 she didn't last long there
You will probably never read this but I've been struggling my mom passed away a couple months ago and I stumbled across your channel and every since then your videos have made it easier to get through each day. I actually laughed today. I haven't laughed in a long time and you done that and I am more thankful then you'll ever know.

Small dogs tend to bite more people, they tend to be more aggressive.. but big dogs are the ones that kill more for obvious reasons.. so yes, chihuahuas are crazy af 😂😂
Yes. I was a l/t animal rescuer and handled nothing after my third month but Pits and Pit mixes with a sprinkling of other Bully Breeds (BC they need us the most to find good homes) and NEVER BEEN BIT, except ONCE by a little dog in the room I had to cut through at a previous shelter to get to the bathroom. Ripped my hand apart because I grabbed his collar so he couldn't escape into the next room to attack the much larger, but three-legged, dog in the next room. Its funny because after the way I was treated after that, and suspicions on finances, I started vol at another shelter, a Town kill shelter. I said to the rescue group ppl there "I don't handle Pits, Rotties, Akitas and Chows". They asked me to "just help today with this 3 month old Pit" and I was smitten. Just like Boxers without the cancer (and all I had were Boxers, and my H's Doxie he had when we started dating). THAT dog bit me sooo many times trying to cut his nails, etc. My Pit Mix, who I rescued not long after that, sweetheart...Doxie would try to hump her, and she would just turn around as if to say "you have GOT to be kidding me. You know I am a Pit Bull and you are just a Weiner Dog. Norm McDonald had an old routine about a Weiner Dog humping a Pit Bull and back then I thought "yeah, right, never could happen..." and then many years later, it did!

It's her friendly face and smile, I think. And she looks like she is about to laugh.
I challenge myself on the occasions that she stares at the camera for 10 or so seconds before saying subscribe to stare right back at her without laughing or even smiling. Harder than it sounds, at least for me. Lol

My niece was mad that my sister saw some racy texts between her and some boy from school. My niece stated that my sister wouldn’t know or understand“in the window” because she is too old to get it. My sister was like “do you mean innuendo? My niece told my sister that she was so stupid and it was definitely “in the window”. My sister made her look it up in a dictionary.
I literally just had the worst night of my life at work, rude customers all night, I cried because I was overwhelmed with everything. Now I see this and I'm cracking up. Thank you for making my night better ❣️
The worst is when you write an expression correctly and idiots "correct" you. I used the expression "to be at someone's beck and call" and so many people replied: "It's 'beckon call'!"

English isn't my mother language and it always makes me wonder if the correction is correct. :D So I google it every time someone said something about spelling, etc.

Then you've got the colloquials. When my brother and I played hide and seek as kids and it was time to go inside, you shouted "ollie ollie oxen free" and everybody still hiding came out and won. I never understood why it was said like that. Fast forward, live in a different part of the country now. Friends and I were talking, they always thought it was "All-y all-y all set free!" That made more sense, I had assumed I had been saying it wrong. Nope, where I come from it's ollie ollie oxen free which makes no sense and where they were raised it's all-y all-y all set free which makes perfect sense. I'm curious when the dialectic split happened.
Something else: people completely forget the past participle these days, "I have went", when it's not "I of went"...
I used to think “half assed” was “half fast” until someone told me a year or two ago… I used that in school papers and presentations AND NOBODY TOLD ME
My sister corrected me when I said Lamest terms....instead of layman's terms... It made sense to me at the time lol

This reminds me of when I was younger and would say "intensive purposes" until my mom asked me "Why are your purposes so intense?" Now whenever someone says "intents and purposes" she just looks at me and smiles.

The truly appalling part is how many of the newer teacher still don't know how to spell correctly. I've read some stuff from actual teachers and wondered how they graduated with a degree.

That's one of my biggest pet peeves about social media, and the internet in general, so many people are so quick to insult others, but can't spell the words they're using to insult them. I was told not to correct these kinds of errors made by my co-workers because it’s their ‘culture’. My co-workers and I were the same ethnicity and went to the same junior high. I said failing to learn proper grammar and spelling is not a ‘culture’ , just the same lazy attitude they brought to work. Turned in my notice and quit. The manager’s secretary whispered ‘her boss is making her go to night school because no one can understand her emails’. Laughed till I cried all the way home. Huge retail company. Huge.
So, lack of education and laziness are protected and encouraged as a "culture"? What a brave new world we live in...

So I just found you, and I love you! I’m sure it’s been so long ago, but I thought I’d share an insight on the Chihuahua dog one. I’m a veterinary technician, and I went to an OSHA mtg on safety. They say the statistics are varied on dog related bites and/or killings on who reports them.
Every 2 yrs the results are published regarding Breeds that were reported to have bitten or killed during that time.
Oddly enough, Pitbulls (I own 2 and I love them to pieces) we’re not even in the Top 10 of breeds who top the list.
It was Labs (I was shocked too!), Rottweilers, Dobermans, Bull Mastiffs, chihuahuas, dachshunds, and poodles.
I also have a jack Russell dachshund mix and a Chiweenie. They are both the little instigators. They are drama queens lol, but my pitbulls just lay there and let them do whatever. Napoleon complex!! 🤪
Of course statistics are taught in our medical field as baseless because of non controlled testing. Just based on police reports. Just thought you’d find it interesting. Although there was an article from Indiana about a woman passing away at home and her 5 dachshunds ate her.

I’m in the UK and was taught cursive writing in primary school. Honestly I just assumed that everyone else was too.
They made us spend a lot of time practicing it and were heavily encouraged to do all our work in cursive from then on.
I still did the majority of my work in normal writing tho because writing in cursive just takes so much longer for me. I guess it’s supposed to be quicker to write in cursive? but I’m autistic and struggle with my motor skills so neat, cursive writing takes me a little while longer to do.

These always remind me of Joey on friends calling a moot point a "mute" point and then arguing why he's correct . . . when he's completely incorrect.
I literally just yelled "THE BONE ILLNESS" and think I scared my neighbors 🤣
A lot of these silly spellings are probably the result of voice recognition texts. I have a friend who always uses voice dictation on phone texts and the spelling and word choices that appear on the screen blow my mind!

I feel like a lot of these that we see popping up all over are due to auto-correct or perhaps someone dictating speech-to-text. Lord knows Google tries to make me sound like way more of a doof than I am (which, yes, thank you, is quite the challenge). Obviously the handwritten ones have no excuse, lol.

My 29 year old son still calls a medical emergency vehicle an "ambliance". I tried correcting him when he was younger, but gave up.
His other one is using "henceforth" when he means "hence". Love him though.

The Chihuahua/pit bull thing- my roomy has a chihuahua who was raised by 3 pitties. Slash, Vendetta, Psyco-Blue and Monster. Monster Cujo Taco is her itty bitty pitty. Shes tough and a cuddle bug. She said she never thought she would ever see her itty bitty pitty curled up napping with a kitten! Shes a great dog.
