january vlog | studio time, lawyer stress and tamil heritage month

One of my goals for 2023 is to vlog and to get more comfortable speaking to the camera. So I’ll start by telling you about my experiences as a new lawyer and the stresses that come with it.
We also go places in this vlog! I take you a long for a creative experience, where I captured some stunning photos (check out the shots on Insta, @studiomits) and meet Toronto photographers. I spend some time celebrating my Tamil culture, as January is officially recognized as Tamil Heritage Month in Canada. Celebrated in Canada each year since 2016, this month is an opportunity to recognize the major contributions Tamil people have made to the growth and prosperity of the country, while overcoming tremendous obstacles. I attend a Tamil Heritage Month celebration at Toronto City Hall hosted by Tamil Canadian Centre for Civic Action. A special shoutout to my friend Nancilyn for receiving the 2022 30 Under 30 award for her work within our community.
