@@punkizm I gave you the benefit of the doubt and waited until the end of the video. To me they do not at all sound salty. They sound shocked, they sound impressed at times (Mary mentioning the people who inspired his content, Ken as he talks about how good he looks).
The only thing they sound unimpressed about is when Ken said stop doing Mukbang do reaction content instead.
Even with Ozempic, if you're not eating right, exercising, and showing discipline, you will not lose even 40 lbs, let alone 250. So he and anyone that loses weight, through whatever means, deserves credit.
Nearly anyone can do it, so no credit. It just takes some drive and desire.
It helps greatly to be a millionaire too.
Ozempic doesnt help you lose weight it just decreases your appetite, it doesn't break down fat or burn fat.

Well... It depends. With surgery to reduce the liver size (this is an example, I don't know at the moment what Nikocado did to lose weight) there is no "really" need for willpower to not become obese again since you can't gorge yourself like before.
On the other hand, yes, if you don't make an effort in your diet and physical exercise you still run the risk of ending up skinny fat, but hey, it's still better than morbid obesity.
Its crazy because I played football from 8yrs to 22 in college and I gained 115 pounds after I had a accident and had to learn how to walk again after beig in a coma . I went from 5'11 205lbs to over 330 pounds in a year of recovery and surgeries. I am only 245lbs now after 1,700 cals and working out 3-4 days aweek for the past 9 months. It blows me away that he lost that much weight so fast and look so firm .... Idk what he did but he has to be working his ass off doing it
@@Gonzora let’s say hypothetically he got some sort of surgery that reduces his appetite,and continues to eat calorie dense meals,not working out,and Intakes more calories then is expends,then we would still gain weight,not as fast but still,I do think a lifestyle change has to go hand and hand with any surgery you get

I'm going to echo what a commenter on iNabber's video said: It's absolutely bonkers to me that people aren’t seeing how UNHINGED this all is. He destroyed himself just to make a point? And ruined a lot of his personal relationships? Just to have this one gotcha moment? Of course, good on him for losing weight, but this whole "two steps ahead" moment isn't deserving of praise and celebration, lmao.

I think it's more like what Ken said. He started the persona to make money and it totally got out of hand. He probably realized it and then planned to surprise everyone with the weight loss to make him look less foolish. I don't think destroying himself and his friendships was originally part of the plan. It's more likely that he got sucked into the attention and money he made.
It really feels like watching some video form of a manifesto or something unsettling like that. Not unsettling in the way that I'm afraid of him or think he's some kind of 'evil genius', but more that I'm concerned that this person is in need of professional help and worried about impressionable people who might see this and think "I'm gonna be tWo sTePs AhEaD of everyone!" who then ALSO destroy their bodies, relationships, & lives in a misguided attempt to 'prove' something. @@gennix404 No it isn't. Few months and I dropped 130. I have medical issues that put it on to begin with but as soon as I got a break from that off it came automatically. Have now kept off 100 for 15+ years and dropped another fifty in spite of disability, illness, and medications. So yes, it can be done. IF you can do it.

So I always expected that Nick would be the one to lose weight one day. The other two have absolutely no hope.
Yes. I also wonder if there are long term affects to weighing that much. The stress during that time on the heart and other organs, despite losing 250. Wondering from a biological view. Oxidative stress and inflammation from the oily and processed food has to have some lingering effects, even the noodles he ate are horrible for the body.

Also, Nick seems so much happier now than he did in any of his heavier muckbang persona videos. Props to him for putting in the work. As someone who is losing weight slower (starting weight 295.8 lbs) I can say for a fact that if you lose weight slower, you can absolutely maintain skin elasticity without having excessive saggy skin. Granted, we didn't see his belly in this video as others have pointed out, so a lot of that sag could be in his belly and thighs, where he seemed to wear a lot of his weight.
I'm down 10 lbs in just over a month and I can already see a difference. I'm getting over the "I need to lose weight fast" mindset and just taking it a day at a time and focusing on changing my relationship to food. Not feeling guilty about going overboard one week, because one week out of the rest of your life won't derail you. It took a long time for me to get to that mentality though and I still am working on it.

I don't think he used Ozempic. It's crazy that people first assume that because it's a trend now. He clearly lost it over time, you can see the stretch marks on his arms, he does have loose skin, but if you lose weight slowly that can help curb massive amounts of loose skin. And then there's skin elasticity itself, he could be blessed with good genetics as far as that goes. We can't see his stomach, but I'm super proud of him for doing this because a lot of us were hoping for this kind of arc. It's the perfect way to rebrand himself and make him a true inspiration. And it rubs it into Fat Acceptance movements' faces, lol.

Even if he used Ozempic, I'm happy for him. At least he knows his situation is bad and seek for help, and actually solve it. Also, as a GLP-1 receptor agonist, Ozempic (which is originally indicated for diabetes) also have benefits on cardiovascular system, and it already has official indication for weight management. I don't see using Ozempic for weight lossing as a bad thing, from a pharmacist's perspect of view.

To answer Mary's question of "Did anyone see Nik as a villain?", I don't keep up with him but I've always heard of him being involved in drama. The only one I witnessed was his situation with Stephanie Soo some years ago and how he manipulated her and made her feel unsafe in her own home. This situation happened partially during videos that they filmed together at the time, but it primarily happened off-camera so I don't think he'd carry out his bit offline when nobody's watching, especially to the point of traumatising or resurfacing somebody's traumas. I'd encourage Ken to check out that whole situation, it starts with Stephanie's video called "Why I Am Scared of Nikocado Avocado", which went pretty viral at the time. Alternatively, you could check out Boze vs World's reaction to it because her commentary brings great insight into how Stephanie's brain operated in that situation. I don't know much about Nik other than this situation and the fact that his online image hasn't been the greatest for many years now, but I'm glad he's looking happier and healthier. Hopefully, he's no longer that person internally that Stephanie broke down about as well.
The vegan youtube community most certainly saw him and treated him as a villain, which was actually the first reason why he started eating meat and junk and getting fat on purpose to begin with, he said he would rather do that than ever be a part of that community. Don't blame the girl for not knowing the lore but yeah she's just talking without knowing what she's talking about. Also acting really toxic through the whole video, I don't know who the girl is but she seems like a really toxic and catty personality in general, spends almost the entire video taking snarky mean-girl jabs and trying to put him down passive-aggressively and is kind of exactly the type of person Nick is talking about in his video.

Just as I don't know Nik in real life, I also don't know Stephanie so I can't speak on her character with accuracy as if I did, but from watching her videos regularly on all her channels, she couldn't give off a vibe further from anything that you said. Actually, in her 2 videos talking about the situation, she did the exact opposite of everything you just said, she wasn't being mean or hating on him at all. So I don't think you've watched her videos on the situation or if you only watched Nik talking about it and instantly took his side. If anything, the only one that gave "mean girl" and toxic energy here was Nik in that whole situation. I encourage you to watch Boze's reactions and breakdowns of the situation because she seems to have a good understanding of psychology and she very accurately breaks down why both of them behaved the way they did and gives advice to people who may find themselves stuck in similar situations. But anyway, I'm not here to fight, I was just informing of the only instance I am aware of him actually being the bad guy since Mary and Ken didn't know about it.

I don't use the word "astonishing" often but he lost an astonishing amount of weight.
He had two years of backlog videos and posted those as he lost weight properly. The lack of sag is because he took his time and didn't use any weight loss pills or surgery. I'm 98% sure that's what's going on.
But he would sag a little even if you lose weight progressively. I think what you said is right, but he still got skin lift/removal, 100%

From what I've gathered, he pre-filmed a lot of his vids years ago. Then, he lost weight over 2 yrs, even with Ozempic, weight loss is not that fast. He is a trained musician, that requires a lot of discipline. He made his money and won I guess (never watched one of his videos).

He probably fasted and dryfasted. Dry fasting will tighten up the skin and people do absolutely lose 20-30lbs a month on fasting. If he had been fasting and eating a calorie conscious OMAD for the past 10 months, he absolutely could have pulled this off

I was curious about what happened between Oompa and Nick after the "D-Fire" podcast suddenly started posting mukbang videos. Oompa has remained silent about it, so I started visiting Nick's channels, in hopes that Nick might talk about it. I never found any videos of Nick talking about it, but he did post a mukbang video featuring Oompa a couple of months after their last podcast. I had read a lot of comments, under the mukbang vids that were posted on the D-Fire channel, were Oompa fans were saying they thought Nick had somehow stabbed Oompa in the back and taken over control of the channel. Some were even saying they thought Nick had sued Oompa, but unless the mukbang featuring Oompa, that was posted on Nicks channel, was recorded months early than it was posted, that didn't seem to be the case. So, I started reading the comments under the videos Nick has posted since D-Fire, and with the exception of the one with Oompa, almost every video has been a repost of an older video, according to his fans. So, the last video he posted, that wasn't a repost, could possibly have been the one featuring Oompa, which was almost a year ago. The big question I have is, did Oompa secretly help him lose the weight, or did Nick do it on his own?

You normally don’t get loose skin if you lose weight naturally. Over the course of two years his skin had time to adjust and keep up with his smaller size.
When you have a GB surgery you lose weight very rapidly and your skin can’t keep up with the smaller size. Loose skin is not the norm. The first time that I saw someone with loose skin was the first time I heard of Gastric Bypass.
So for everyone who has never witnessed someone losing weight naturally, this is what it normally looks like when you lose weight the way you should.
