Incorrect. There is a less chance of infection from parasites from raw beef verses raw chicken, however, parasites do live in raw beef and it isn't impossible to be infected from eating raw meat. Organs, like liver, are included as well.

    Related to food and dopamine!
I was diagnosed with adhd around 21 and have been fat all my life. I was obese, but not to a crazy point, but definitely fat and not chubby. Food was one of the way I was trying to regulate my dopamine level since adhd is your brain struggling to produce it. I would eat a meal and then a bunch of sweet snacks in between. Once I started taking medication for adhd, those cravings almost fully disappeared and I lost a bunch of weight because I also started meal prepping so I would eat smaller portions. I’m still in the process of loosing weight at my own pace, but it feels good!
Sometimes it’s not about your willingness to go on a diet, because food was one of the few things keeping my mood up and cutting it would have physically hurt my brain. Sometimes you just need to figure other things out to help it! So don’t beat yourself down if you struggle with loosing weight and try to look a bit out of your plate, it might help in unsuspected ways!

I love the discussion about diet and exercise and health in general. There was a time I was struggling because of health that it affected my mental health and I was really not in a good place…just pushing yourself out of bed is a struggle…but recently I’ve been working out everything and eating less (not following a certain diet but I do eat less carbs)…some days its hard keeping up with exercising but it takes a lot of willpower and building habit and discipline to really have a good eating habit and working out…when it comes to eating less I’m pretty good at it but having to workout everyday is super hard…i don’t really like it but you gotta do it enough of times to really see the changes…so yeah…it takes really that willpower but results can’t be denied because it does improve a lot of the aspects of your life…have a healthy idea or what is considered healthy (like thin doesn’t necessarily mean healthy)…don’t compare your progress with others too…practice healthy mental habits as well…health really is overall…a lot of aspects…and parts of a whole that is dependent on one another…

Basically, we know that unhealthy food is going to make us feel worse in the long run but, as humans, it’s hard to resist something that gives you immediate reinforcement. I live in an area that gets really hot and humid in the summer. I used to get really bad acne around my hair line and under my chin. Went to a dermatologist and they suggested I use a wash with benzoyl peroxide. All that did was dry the rest of my face out and cause acne all over. My grandmother said when they were younger, they used to make a paste out of zinc to wash their faces during the summer. But once dandruff shampoos like head and shoulders came out, they used that instead because it had zinc and was cheaper. I tried it and haven't had that bad acne during the summer going on 10 years now. During the summer I use it twice a week and never get it near my eyes. It doesn't do anything for regular acne or blackheads. But it works great for the painful acne I used to get in my hairline and neck 🤷‍♀️

I was doing everything right, diet exercise, sleeping, hydration, and I did lose a lot of weight but it also felt like I had to work as twice as hard as anyone else to lose weight. I finally went to the doctor to take care of my anxiety and stress levels and I was told that because I was under so much stress constantly the cortisol was trying to hold on to the extra weight. if you think that was gross, read what we Greenladic people can eat; raw seal liver with a little of raw seal fat, raw narwhal skin, raw stonesucker fish, raw frozen minke wale, all seasoned (except for the fish) with the Danish spice called Aromat or soy sauce and not get sick
edit: oh its a delicacy, its not something we eat every day

That is fish at least 😅 and it’s delicious but definitely not for everyone
Eating raw intestines and meat from land animals is frightening.. the texture and taste must be as horrible as the smell

I'd guess it's relatively safe in your case because the meat is treated and tested for any nasties. The animals are probs also closely monitored for any illnesses
The food standards in the UK assume you wouldn't eat the meat raw, so there's little control for that, I'd guess it's harder to control land animals' health as well, tape worms, and such

We have a spice here in north of Ireland that is called aromat. The absolute best seasoning for any dish. Wonder if they are the same

Beef tallow was used before modern lotions and soaps and people typically didn't have acne back in the day so yeah beef tallow is a known product that will clear acne.

The cheapest candles available in the victorian age were tallow candles that would leave grease all over the walls of poor peoples rooms & i would imagine that old grease smell from burning it all the time must have been absolutely foul

I’m studying to be a certified personal trainer and nutritionist. The worst part of this is that there are so many people that do their own research and still come out, believing that drinking borax and bleach will detoxify their body ( that is literally the main function of your essential organs). Learning how to cite articles and find articles worthy of being cited is something we learn in middle school, but a skill that has been neglected by our generation
