I dont know why but seeing the trailer again after almost 7 years, brought tear in my eyes. It was back in 2k12 when life was good. Hoping for another crysis game in the near future just to cherish my childhood again.

Same for me. I remember that I was a young guy when the trailer was announced. I was amazed with Crysis 2, and I was really curious about the storyline of the third Crysis game. To this day, this series has a special place in my heart, despite the fact that shooters are not my favorite genre of the games. At least my PC is now able to handle this game with +60FPS 😀

You cannot compare the graphics of a realistic open world with those of a end of world SF "hallway game".

Crysis 3 is a masterpiece, the graphics were stunning, loved how immersive New York felt, with overgrown vegetation, the soundtrack was amazing , super fun gameplay, so many memories with the game 👏👏👏
This game is legend and beyond awesome, its a way beyond then video gaming. it so good, im really hope that EA will continue the chapter 4

the first crysis game is more demanding. PS4 and Xbox One cannot play that game. Even the most powerful PCs struggle on ultra settings. Crysis 2 and 3 are not as demanding as Crysis 1

I was really young when I first saw it. Walking in the local Best Buy, my eye was immediately set on a display. On it was footage for a game I didn't know the name of (later learned to read specifically to play Zelda), which showed a robot man with an assault rifle slung over his shoulder, surveying a green jungle with a bow and arrow. Didn't learn the name of the game until years later, but that display has always stuck with me. Games can be games, yes. But they're also capable of being something special.
so are we playing as prophet (before-alcatraz) or prophet as in alcatraz after crysis 2. Or does the events of crysis 3 occur before prophet met alcatraz

Man it's been over 10 Years since this Trailer dropped and I can't believe time flew that quickly.
When I first saw this the hype was on a whole different level. Never in my live had I ever seen graphics that were this good.
This game lifted the ceiling in terms of graphics for every other game even more than Crysis 1 did back in the day, because finally it was an established franchise with a huge marketing campaign.
It still looks good(not great) to this day, at least in most missions with a few exceptions (for example the first mission looks pretty terrible if you ask me).
I hope Crysis 4 will change they way we look at games from a visual standpoint once again and mark a new era of technological improvement.
It is kinda sad that graphics and visuals of games today aren't as exciting as they used to be, but this is just one of many problems in the industry nowadays.

We had Crysis 1&2 for a very long time until Crysis 3 finally launched on Steam last month June 5th 2020 and now people can play in peace without no worries, unless they want a Crysis 4.

A good pull from a high-tech bow in strength mode would pack as much punch as a high caliber sniper rifle, especially if the tip is made of very hard and solid metals, you could shoot it through someones head.

I would love to see a crysis 4 hit stores soon, I have owned playstations since the time they came out with the ps4 being the latest, but I even went back and bought a ps3 today and all the old crysis just to play through them all again. Great games!
might not be very optimal to play with the touchpad, but having a separate mouse usually does the trick

Actually, since my last comment, I added up the cost myself. The DLC packs coming out are each $15, for a total of $60. Premium was only $50, so it ends up cheaper. And it was only a one-time fee, whereas Elite is a yearly subscription.
The music used in the trailer, especially around 1:30 sounds a lot like the Prometheus trailer. Nice touch on that. What i don't get it though. What the hell happened to the island.... It's changed from the Island to New York, and then New York was saved, so really it should be other cities OR the island. Yes i get that it is now literally an "Urban Jungle", quite a good concept there, but really there is a lot that needs explaining that has been left unanswered from the first Crysis.
I wish they had made crysis 2's single player campaign longer cause graphically it was probably the greatest campaign ive ever played
