- The Happy Claymore is a better solution to carry, emplace and recover M18A1 Claymore Mines.
After years of working on and with small teams that use these mines regularly, our staff decided that there had to be a more practical and efficient way to do it.
We ditched the wire reel, and drawing on our mountaineering and riverine experience decided on a design similar to a rope throw bag. The blasting cap and firing wire is routed through a large grommet on the bottom of the bag, then secured in the static free blasting cap pocket on the tarp. When stored, the tarp separates the firing wire from the firing device in the same pocket. The mine itself is stored in a separate pocket, along with a stake, grease pencil, and range card. Your marketing guys need a raise
If they got a raise fo every time that's been said, we wouldn't be able to afford PMags...
This would have to sell in order to do give raises. With soft good products like this, there will be a pay freeze or layoffs.
The Happy Claymore bag fills a specialized application with very limited production numbers, so the financial impact is very minor compared to improving the lives of those who use the Claymore as part of their job protecting us..
+Magpul -- I am joking ( not a great joke at all ) about layoffs over one product being produced for...not me. I appreciate everything your company is and stands for. I'm on the same side and I realize I need to reel in my trolly comment.
I actually appreciate a sarcastic sense of humor; folks are too damned thin skinned anymore. Remember when men hacked on each other just to pass the time or, god forbid, for fun. That time has passed, sadly.
If Magpul is making soft good products such as this claymore bag! They should defiantly make a PLATE CARRIER!!!!!
This is just too cool. I'm sure the product is great, but I love this retro instructional style that's inspired by the social guidance films from 1941-1970. We need more of this in the modern shooting/soldiering culture.

I think this is great! I mean America LOVES claymores amirite? That being said, I've been a really, really (really) good boy this year and would kill 100 men for you guys to release a 40sw version of your gl9. Hell, lets call it the gl40 and bring Christmas a little early to all the 40 cal folks.

Still allowed - as long as you use the clacker and not string...it's an "aimed anti-personell device" or "close quarters protection" then ;)

So I looked at the website and it mentioned 'Detailed Instructions for other uses,' at the going rate Magpul will be the foremost BDSM supplier.
This would work well for a QRP mobile radio station. The outer pocket would be great for a small watt radio and the wire area great for the antenna.
I might have to try this out.

Except the guys doing the bags are not the same as the guys doing the mags. Release of a soft goods item does not hinder a hard good release timetable.
I'd rather have Pmags for other pistols than a claymore bag. What a waste of resources.
The Happy Claymore bag fills a specialized application improving the lives of those who use the Claymore as part of their job. As for "resources", those involved in designing, building and testing firearms parts are not the same as those developing softgoods such as the this. So you are not losing out.
You guys keep making stupid bags and I'm over here waiting for a forend for my 1100 or something semiauto in the 12ga market.
