Crawl dads is what we call them here in NC. Spent many days catching them down at the creek. If you can ever catch a mess and keep them alive, they make awesome live bait for bass!!
I’ve called them both. John, I think you caught more bass in one outing than I have this year. I guess I need a new rod and reel...it can’t be me! LOL! Great video, thanks for sharing.
I ordered some awhile back, can't wait to try them. I've been a little busy with the trout. Hey....I wonder if....gotta go! Great video as always! Congratulations on 400!!!
Creek Fishing 423 - I was wondering the same thing! And considering the creeks I'll be fishing this weekend are full of crawdads AND the stocked trout include 21+ inch browns, I can't wait to find out!
Crawl dads is what I've always called them in NC. When I was a kid we spent a many hours catching them jokers in the creek. Flippen rocks!! Congrats on your 400 video!!
I grew up in the NC mountains where all of the very small streams and springs had plentiful crawfish. We would spend an hour or so catching them, and then we had enough bait to go wading and fishing for smallmouth and usually had some left over for cat-fishing. As a kid catching the bait with your friends was almost as much fun as the fishing was. Love your videos and your stand for GOD.
Where I'm from in SW Missouri we call them crawdads and where my wife is from in South Arkansas they call them Crawfish. We fish with ours and they eat theirs.
The googan craw are really good too. Use them up in Michigan in my local river, catch a lot of 16-19 in smallys. Also started using helgramites, caught over 100 nice fish this summer. Keep up the awesome work
I’m a south Florida guy living in Indiana. They will always be a crawdads to me. Congratulations on the 400. That’s amazing. I hope you are living the dream. Tight lines
Back in the 60s my family went to visit my great grandparents. They had a creek running by their house, and my brother and I were experienced and catching them critters and spent most of the visit in the creek. Our great grandfather dubbed us the crawdad boys.
I like your reviews of different types of baits. I also watched an old video of you and two little girls catching bait to catch some fish out of a creek. It brought back so many memories of when I would do the same as a kid turning over boards and rocks to get worms to fish with.
When my daughter was about two she called crayfish a pinch pinch. We thought it was so adorable at the time. Four years later, I still call them pinch pinches! Congrats on vid 400! Looking forward to 400 more!
It doesn't matter who you are or where you are from. It doesn't matter what your background is or how old you are. It doesn't matter if you call them craws, crawdads, or cray fish. I think we can all agree that we love fishing and that this channel is amazing. Love what you are doing here and I always enjoy the versus at the end..... It's crawdad by the way. Much love from Jonny in PA.
Congratulations on 400! My son and I are big fans and have met you on a creek or two. I’m intrigued about these new Nikko craws as we have been using the Helgramites for over a year. Thank you for all that you do bringing us the beauty of Tennessee
Crawfish, I’ve been fishing them for about a month now. Love-em. Love the videos. I’ve been fishing TN creeks for 55 years. Keep up the mission brother.
In central PA, we grew up calling them cray fish, but now I usually call them craw dads, I have no idea why I changed. Love your videos and your positive attitude!
How you doing sir I enjoy watching you change Louis fishing I enjoy everything you never get too old to learn anything Allen 75 years old I really really enjoyed you may God bless you much love to you take care
Crayfish here. I must say, I picked up the same sling bag this year and it is a total game changer. That and an ultralight setup and I can pretty much go anywhere and have everything I need. Comfortable to wear as well.
As a kid 60 years ago we would catch soft crawdads in Salt River headwaters and can them like beans or corn in quart jars to use all year. I still remember the smell!
Here in MS most people call them crawfish, and on fridays/saturdays in the summer a bunch of little food trucks pop up selling boiled crawfish, potatoes, and corn. Delicious!
Love fishing with crawdads. Watch all your videos, thanks for all the tips and especially the blessing of a scripture at the end. God bless you and take care.

Keep up the good work and may God continue to bless you! MJ
Crawdads my brother, I live in Louisville kentucky, when I was 8 in 1982 we used to use a sane and walk the creeks, catch loads of crawdads in the net, falls coming so using crawdads with a sinker is a deadly combination. Keep up the good work brother.

Crawdads is what we called them as a kid in Missouri. I have not seen any here in PA but we might have them somewhere. After decades of fishing, a Small Mouth Bass is still a bucket list fish for me. The closest I ever came to catching one was on the St. Lawrence Seaway. A huge one that came off of the hook. I still think about it many years later. Up there, I think they called them crabs instead of craws, which was confusing to me, but that's what the bait store guy sold to me to catch a smally!
When I was growing up we called them crayfish. Will definitely have to get some of those. Been using Roboworms and Hellgermites but never craws. Thanks for all the great videos and congrats on the two milestones.

I do some creek fishing but it is not that big and has muddy/murky water. Just getting into fishing. Also, enjoyed you catching the salties on the beach. Thanks for the scriptures at the end of the video.
Congrats on the 400th video. Another great video as always with some really good fish. I will have to say that you have sold me so far an all the NIKKO products that you have used. There durability is second to none that I can see, and in the world of fishing that goes a long way in my book. Keep up the good work. God bless and GO KATS!!!!!!!!!
