@@danieltakawi9919 Yes and no. 70% of US firefighters are volunteer, but only 30% of the US population is covered by volunteers. Metropolitan areas tend to be staffed full-time because of call volume, population density, and incident severity. Rural areas don't get enough calls to justify full-time staffing.
can u do East Eden Fire Dept. In Eden I think they are really nice and still have a old small rescue. that fire dept. was the one that made me what to become a Volunteer fire men Thank and i really like the Vids
Yep agreed, misspoken, I did it a lot for West Whiteland too. It just gets stuck in the head and hard to get out while talking to a camera. I will get better. IF there are other things I misspeak let me know and Ill fix it

It is amazing how many volunteer firefighters there are. Where I live, for the most part, firefighters are full-time career firefighters.
Yeah, in Chester County they are starting to have a couple of paid drivers, but it's not very common
70% of America's firefighters are volunteers!
@@itisjambo Is that due to cities not having the budget to pay people?

@@James68W Thank you for the info!
It just seems from these videos that a lot of cities needed volunteers so I was asking.

Where is the jeep? They had it when i was a kid late 70s early 80s. I know they had it recently. Where did it go?
A life member was sold the jeep when it was retired.
Little known fact, Engine 49-2 does have a tank 750 Gallons and 2000 GPM
Where is all the money come from? I notice a lot of them don’t fundraise.
A lot of them still do fundraise and they receive grants.
Love "verse of the day".
Thanks!

Most alchoholic name possible, LOL "Brandywine", brandy, and wine
Hahaha it’s because of the Brandywine River running through the area
that ladder truck is not a tower, a tower has a bucket on the end, but cool trucks
