Seriously one of the highest-functioning fire departments I've encountered. Great humor in this one. Way to have pride and have fun!
Thank you!
@@SouthMetroFireRescuePIO question
Say yes if you see this
@@ruralmetrofirebuff4514 I Dont Think He saw This :(
Love when the companies have “special character” appearances.
38 you totally raised Station Saturday to a whole new level -- We will see if anybody can come close to your style in the video.
These guys are a crack up! The butler, the eagle, doormats and mad scientists.. This house knows how to have fun 👍👍
That eagle randomly peeking in had me dying 😂
Love the little things that snuck in this video! The butler, and the eagle making 3 appearances!
As a French firefighter, one of the first thing that strikes me is how proud you are of your fire stations in the US. You have great buildings and equipment, you know it and you take care of it. In France, such a webseries wouldn't be possible. Most firehouses are old and the equipment barely works, if it works at all. We are not proud of our buildings and I would say that most firemen don't care about what they have at the station, it's more a "place of work" than a "second home", which is kinda sad since we spend a third of our life there.
Also, it is good to see that you have separate lockers for shifts which doesn't need any lockpad to prevent other shifts stealing stuff ! Wouldn't be possible here as well, you let something in an unsecure place ? Not yours anymore ! What a pity...
I'm rarely commenting UA-cam vids but I like seeing you guys sharing the beautiful values of our job, keep up the good work
this is a rarity most fire stations are complete garbage in the us
@@Walk_Off_0311 Idk what fire stations you've been to but the vast majority are nice. At least when it comes to larger cities and urban areas where the departments are paid.
@@colbyh.4933 exactly, high paid cities. Which is less than 20% of most fire districts that protect the United States.
heh. I'm in Aus. most episodes would be of people rubbishing the higher-ups for making bullshit decisions.
Most larger paid EMS and Fire stations are very nice and well maintained and there is definitely a sense of family…I was a paramedic captain before I was badly injured in an accident…our company wasn’t nearly as rich as these guys but we were still well taken care of…and we helped others…I enjoyed working EMS…the biggest problem is most of the country relies on volunteers…they’re just as skilled in most cases but the demand for training keeps increasing and fewer and fewer people have the time or resources to train. It’s a problem that needs to be addressed. It’s a problem of cost as always…most of the country won’t put the money into what’s needed…the more urban areas have to…
Gotta love a station that was "planned for" more than the current complement. It's the only time you actually have the space you need. I'm currently working out of a two-bay station with three rigs and it's a daily challenge to find storage for the simplest of things - not to even mention the gladiatorial fight that goes on to determine who gets an actual bed and who has to sleep on the couch...
Just a 911 dispatcher from Florida showing so love.
Thank you for all that you do 😀👏🏿!
Thanks for watching and thank you for your service!
Think y’all will ever post the run stats for each individual unit(s) again? Kinda enjoyed seeing those!
Amen!
Lol, loved the eagle and the butler, and its a very nice station
This department is beyond stellar. Lotta pride and ownership flows thru this agency.
Yep... this definitely took the Station Saturday series to the next level... Well Done!
Thank you!
Awesome video. One of the best Station Saturdays so far. Love the humor that was added in with the Eagle, the butler and the scientists doing the experiments in the radio room. Such a nice and well laid out station. They are so lucky that the firefighters have their own bedrooms and bathrooms. Has to be one of the nicest stations. SMFR keep up the good work.
Very well done video tour 👍 such a nicely laid out station 👍 interesting that this building is shared by 2 different First Responder Departments . Thanks Eric for sharing this
Can create efficiency when FD and PD can share physical spaces!
Very nicely done, glad to see they had fun with it..
6:04 the eagle just peaking thru the window shows the underlying humor y’all wanted🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂
Hilarious! 🦅🤵🏼☕️🐬🐱🧮🥧🎱🧤🥼🧪 thanks for all the time, energy and creativity that went into this!
Loved the stuff happening in the background, guys!! Super video!
Awesome job, great seeing how crazy a station house can be, building their own Eagle's "nest".
Beautiful fire house
Hahaha the eagle head messed with me in the window first at around 6mins. Then ya see buddy sitting on the bed, that’s great! lol
So much fun watching this episode!🦅👨🔬🥧☕
Hands down one of if not thee best cribs video made! The eagle and the butler were hilarious!!! Thank you!!!
Love ya'll's Suttle corny humor. Did the coffee cup Rico lol
Very well done. Nice twists and good info. Thank you.
10:50 I was waiting for him to dip his beak in the cup😂😂
Ha! That would have been funny!
Hands down my favorite station review so far. Nice job brothers
Thank you Kim Connor Erica and Lauren I can’t wait for the new station Saturday from your friend in Springfield Missouri kyle
This has to be the funniest station Saturdays I've ever seen 🤣
Glad you liked it!
Definitely was the servant and the eagle😂
The eagle at 6:04 made me spilt my coffee out laughing😂
One of my favorite logos in the department 🔥
The firefighter with the eagle mask was funny
Great job on this video as it had me laughing a lot. Being in the fire service myself, I say Thank You to all of you.
Thank you!
Literally my dream station to work. Unfortunately I’m in California but would love to go on a ride along with any department there
We've got staff and firefighters that come from out of state to work at SMFR! (including California!)
I guess this confirms the rumor about little green men. That's a very nice facility. Nice to have the police available too. Now that's what I call service a nice cup of coffee to start the review, I mean really nice service there. Sounds like a capable Engine. Nice that they are going to update your Hazmat apparatus. Nice coincidence since I left a comment on little green men earlier. Two side-out will be an awesome way to create more workspace. It's amazing what they will allow you to keep in your bedrooms too. Nice donations too. Nice Bird coffee mugs available. I see there is a real need for a Hazmat vehicle there too. That gym is awesome, I just think some of those wall hangings would be a real distraction. Great review with a "little" humor thrown in.
Mike drop, these guys brought the station series to another level
Keep up the great work to all of your team and I enjoy the videos
Thanks for watching!
@jeff nelson I’m not them but im pretty sure hazmat 38,Decon 17,And foam 46 are all of them
Where to start Station 38 have to say the other stations have to step it up a bit. One of the best and funny tours way to go. Makes an old FF feel young again seeing your PRIDE and enthusiasm.
very nice viedeo. loved the little eastereggs ore begground things like the butler at the beginning
I love the Marvin the Martian in the hazmat logo and the rug in the hamer
Love all the smalle funny bits in the background
OUTSTANDING video!
Thank you!
AWSOME Vid guys!
I love the funny things in the background
short wheelbase lol. Still bigger than most of our UK appliances. Another great video from south metro.
This gonna be a great video!!
It is absolutely unbelievable how nice of a station that these guys have 😩
You guys have such cool rigs
GO BRONCOS! I'm huge fan of Broncos
YESSSIRRRRRRR✅✅✅✅✅✅✅✅♻️✅✅✅✅✅✅🟢🟢🟢👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Love the Cherry Hills coffee Butler! LOL
The Easter eggs are killing me 😂 well done
That eagle LOL
The memes at each station are getting better and better
This was hilarious and informative
Wow that’s cool how that fire house those lights
2:29 The butler, LOL. That's great.
Super nice of Pete Davidson's brother to make an appearance in the video. Thanks 38's!
Love seeing Tommy Gavin hanging in the gym.
Gotta love the Tommy Gavin flag
That is a big fire house!
Love the butler hahahahaha :D, by far best Station Saturday yet.
I like all of your videos this one was a little bit better because of the little bit of stuff you had going on in the background
I love the random people in these videos.
I know the "butler" at the beginning of the video was meant as a joke and I did find it funny. But if you watch enough of the awesome content SMFR puts out, it wouldn't surprise me at all to learn the department has that much money that they are doing a trial of in station butlers.
You can thank weed sales for that
Remember the size of the department is one of the largest in Colorado which requires them to have enough experience and equipment to handle anything, The overall miles is huge for this department. they have to experts in all of the cutting edge items. Those served by SMFD is lucky to have them and they use the funds wisely
@@TheHastingsumc It’s a very high quality FD that is also very well funded. Unfortunately other FDs around the US in larger metro areas such as Detroit, Philly, Baltimore, etc. aren’t as fortunate to be as well equipped or funded.
I think you guys have been around the hazmat too long. Absolutely hilarious!
I like that dolphin mug so cute lol
Awesome
Some great firehouse humour.
lol these men are awesome. Great Americans
12:00 mans really said "simple" equations
i like the AAS and Los Alamos Fire patch!
South metro are the best fire and ems district
Love the butler. 😂😂😂
We need a collab with the police department next door 🤩
That's a fun idea!
Can we get a day in a life of the hazmat team please?
Since Hazmat 38 is cross-staffed by Engine 38 it would be more of a day in the life of the Engine crew. Hazmat incidents don't occur frequently enough to guarantee an actual hazardous materials response.
@@SouthMetroFireRescuePIO make sense thanks
Station 38 has put to shame the other stations with their genius Station Saturday Tour…🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 when I showed people around our EMS station as Captain…I usually just pushed open a door, flick on a switch and said “oh yeah…this is…” (whatever) flick the switch off and move on…
Station 38 = the pranksters 😉
Ok who is play as the eagle???? At 10:47 not gonna lie the head behavior is soooo funny that made my day.
That was Rico!
I just heard about a fire in highland ranch hope it gets mention
Can we get a fleet Friday of the new hazmat truck when it arrives
Absolutely! We also want to show some of the mid build and final inspections in future vlogs.
I like they pick next one out of bag.
If you think your 02 truck is old we still have an 88 saulsbury Heavy Rescue. we are getting a new one soon.
The eagle 😂😂
At this point if the station featured on Station Saturday doesn't have mascot Easter egg appearances, their Upper Eche are total party poopers, for sure.
I can’t help but wonder how May takes had to be done before they could keep a straight face with the various background pranks lol
😂😂😂"top secret projects"in the officers workspace...well played
Could you do a video about your bagpipe band? And maybe the honor guard too?
Yooooo dis gonna get good
I almost missed Mr Eagle 😆
How intriguing! Will the Haz Mat rig become a reserve unit after replaced?
The current plan includes Hazmat 38 becoming Hazmat 17, and Hazmat 17 will become a support vehicle, possibly housed at the Logistics Warehouse. The new Hazmat 38 should be delivered around the end of 2023.
nice p.s. avs win cup
Go Avs!
Then random things in the background or the "server" at the start was funny
Awsome video wonder how I can do a ride along when I come to south metros area
When ride alongs are allowed you'll find a link to the request form at www.southmetro.org
St Tommy Gavin lol
Yeah sure “simple equations”
The eagle💀💀💀💀
Has the department decided on what the new hazmat or hamer will be. Like pierce, spartan seagrave e-one etc
Yes, the new Hazmat 38 will be a custom walk-in command body built by SVI on an International chassis. It will be very similar to this www.svitrucks.com/winnipeg-mb-can-hazmat-1146/
6:03 c h I c k e n
How many takes did you have to do for this one??? I’m over here LMFAO at times.
38's crew members are one take masters!
