Why do you lure the mobs to the middle?, is faster to kill them on the spot, isn't that more efficient and more income an hour?. Good video bro, fun to watch.
I honestly can't tell much of a difference because of 2 things. I noticed, once you receive the buff for the next wave smaller mobs appear around the other groups and if you kill the bigger mobs the smaller ones disappear without giving loot which I try to prevent since they still have the high defence buff up. The other thing is I barely grind in this place and the other hour I was there i actually did less by just staying on the bigger mobs but by just a small amount. Without the Agris Coin it would be 27422 trash per hour. Besides I hate staying in one place for too long because in my opinion it's plain boring hence I prefer other spots more.
Even though I dislike this spot, it's a good thing that there are spots like this with different mechanics. This gives more variety for other people to visit spots like this.

Once you got your first buff attack the correct mob return to the tower in the middle and attack the other ones with Shift+X and the other one with RMB (combo) to pull all the small mobs together. I try to get as much as many small mobs before I kill the Guardian mob which gives the next buff because the small mobs despawn if you kill it. This also works with the Despair mob add wave but is a bit harder to control because of the amount. ... -> Red -> Blue -> Purple -> Red -> ... is the color rotation in case you didn't knew.
I forgot to add, beware of the guardian mob with the purple buff, if you stay in the middle at the tower it will deal heavy damage which will for certain kill you. So better kill this mob as soon as possible.
Hard to tell. There are situations where Awakening is superior to succession and vice versa. It depends quite a lot on player skill I would say. In my opinion I would suggest to play which is more fun.
