Ohhhhhhhhhhh how I wish you also incorporated season 3 Diego into this masterpiece. Season 3 Diego just adds a whole new layer of him it’s so fascinating! He is for sure my favorite Hargreeves 😌❤️ Can’t wait for your next video in this series.
Diego is a criminally underrated character! Loved the analysis and hope for more on the rest of the siblings...especially if you cover the Sparrows and season 3 as a whole as well, and Lila
Yeah, I feel a lot of people totally missed his development in season 3 and instead just say "he was too dumb" "they nerfed his powers" but don't really pay attention to his development that was actually really good even if they indeed nerfed his powers. Lila had the biggest development this season though, and Allison took a 180 degree turn but a pretty dark turn, I'd like to hear analysis about these 3 characters in season 3.
I adore this video and rewatch often. There's so little content related to Diego (underrated king). I would KILL for an update including season three and his experience as a father.
This just made my day! Umbrella Academy has sort of become my emotional support show since last year (which was one of the worst years of my life for many reasons). I have watched it so many times already and never understood why so many people didn´t like (or maybe just didn´t care for) Diego who I always found to be the most relatable character of all of them. I mean I get why it´s mostly either Five or Klaus who are seen as fan favourites (I like them, too, don´t get me wrong) but I was always kind of upset at the fact that Diego, his issues and where they come from, but most importantly his character growth, seemingly got overlooked by most people. So thank you for having made this incredible and detailed character analysis! Absolutely loved it.
Thanks for this analysis of Diego, Claudia. He's certainly a character who has gradually grown on me, especially in Season 2, and I really love how he interacts with Lila, and his love for his family at the end of the day.
Yay I was so excited for this one. I loved your previous two videos. This one was so insightful. Diego and five are my two favourite characters in the series and the comics
7:59 I think the way Diego sometimes lashes out after stammering could be a reflection of this - like he’s lost control over his own speech and he hates it?
Loved this video! Really thoughtful analysis! Can’t wait for your klaus video, he’s probably the sibling I relate the most to (for better or worse lol)
AAAA Claudia, you've made my day!! my week, probably!! I absolutely adored your video about the umbrella kids and trauma and abuse, and that led me to your channel and later your Luther video, which I also really adored and made SO excited to see your next ones!! thank you very much for this one, it'll be a pleasure to watch and it's a huge relief to know you're still working on this series of videos :') 💜
@@bjam89 definitely not canon, i just binge watched the entire saga before season 4 and it's never mentioned or implied, but headcanons are cool too :3

I'm still hoping so much you'll continue this series at some point!
i love how you imagined him as a doctor who companion i too measure characters by that metric
What a wonderful analysis! I’m sad I just found it in 2024! Diego is definitely underrated
Please carry on this series!
I wish you’d continue this series

0:11 within the first few second, by recognising how underrated he is, you already had me hooked
Do you plan on continuing this series? It’s really enjoyable and well done.

Wow! I love this so much! I wish you could have done the others as well. Awesome!
Can't wait to see you cover stuff about season 3

I hope you do essays on seasons 2 and 3 as a whole while doing these character analyses

I wonder why? Becuz I like both five and Diego

I hope you continue this series! I was looking forward to your analysis of the other Hargreeves siblings!
Diego is so misunderstood
I LOVE DIEGO!!!!
Such an incredible analysis of one of my all time favorite characters. I can’t wait to see more. 😊
The ABSOLUTE tragedy of watching this after having watched season 4, what with the... everything.
beautifully done! i liked him before, but i definitely appreciate diego more after listening to your analysis.
I love Diego
I absolutely love your video-essays about this brilliant series!
didn't realize i had so much in common with him. great video
11:10 this is often depicted in his hero complex

You are great at these, I loved this so much!
Love these Umbrealla Academy videos, just found your channel yesterday and will be checking out your other work
Adore Diego. I love when they have a problem with someone, Diego's solution is kill them. eg: his Father and his doppleganger - lol.
Diego was NOT the Kraken! Ben was !
Diego is the Kraken, Ben is the Horror
Y the kraken?
wait, did they ever say he is bi on the show or comics? cos it wasn't until this video it dawned on me that my reading of him as bi might not be canon
