Sheikh albani on sheikh Muhammad ibn Abdul wahab الألباني: محمد بن عبدالوهاب فيه غلو وشده Albani considered Muhammad Ibn Abdul-Wahab a reformer and praised his Da’wah, but he also criticized him for their excessive Takfir. Albani says about Muhammad Ibn Abdul-Wahab: - He had exaggeration and harshness - His followers inherited that from his teachings - He could not differentiate between authentic [صحيح] and weak [ضعيف] Ahadith - He had no high level of care in following Salafi Fiqh - I am one of the harshest critics of the Wahabiyah 1- Albani said (“Silsilah huda wa Noor”, 297): الحقيقة محمد بن عبدالوهاب فضله كبير على الأمة الإسلامية ؛ لكن فيه شيء من الغلو والشدة الجماعة كان عندهم شيء من الشدة؛ أخذوها طبعاً من بعض نصوص محمد بن عبدالوهاب رحمه الله، واستمر الأتباع إلى هذا العهد موصومون بهذه الشدة، وكنا نسمع نحن قديماً أن هؤلاء النجديين يكفرون عامة المسلمين، أو يقولون عنهم خوارج “The truth regarding Muhammad Ibn Abdul-Wahhab is that he has done a great favour upon the Islamic nation, but he had some level of exaggeration and harshness. … This group has inherited some of this harshness, which they of course took from the writings of Mohammad Ibn Abdul-Wahab, may God be merciful to him. They are stigmatised with this harshness. And we used to hear from long time ago that these Najdis make Takfir on the general masses of the Muslims, and they used to be accused of being Khawarij.” 2- Albani said after he mentioned some good qualities of Ibn Taymiyah: , بخلاف الشيخ محمد بن عبد الوهاب, فلم تكن له هذه العناية, لا في الحديث ولا في الفقه السلفي, فهو من الناحية المذهبية حنبلي, ومن الناحية الحديثية كغيره, فليس له آثار في الفقه تدلنا على أنه كابن تيمية سلفي المنهج في التفقه في الدين, لعل له في ذلك عذرا كما ألمحنا إليه آنفا.وكذلك في الأحاديث فهو كغيره مع الأسف الشديد, لا معرفة عنده بالحديث الصحيح والضعيف “Contrary to Sheikh Muhammad Ibn Abdul Wahhab - who did not have this level of care in hadith nor in Salafi fiqh. He is a Hanbali from the side of the madhhab and in Hadith, he is like others. He has left no traces in Fiqh which would indicate to us that he was like Ibn Taymiyah a Salafi in manhaj in terms of his understanding of religion. Perhaps he has an excuse in this which we have already hinted at. And also in the hadith, he, like the others, unfortunately, has no knowledge of authentic or weak hadiths.” 3- Albani also said (“Silsilah huda wa Noor”, 713): أما الوهابية: فما لي ولها ؛ فأنا أنقضها ؛ ربما أشد من غيري ، وربما الحاضرون يعلمون ذلك “As for al-Wahabiyah - what have I got to do with it?! غالبًا آخر زمان سے مراد خلافت راشدہ کا آخری دور ہے اور اس قوم سے مراد خوارج ہیں کیونکہ خوارج حضرت علی کی خلافت میں پیدا ہوئے اور ہوسکتا ہے کہ آخر زمانہ سے مراد قریب قیامت ہو اور اس قوم سے مراد وہابی ہوں کہ ان کا خروج بارہویں صدی میں ہوا،علامہ شامی نے وہابیوں کو خوارج فرمایا ہے یہ بھی قریبًا خوارج ہیں۔۲؎ یعنی ان میں اکثر نو عمرلڑکے عقل کے کوتاہ ہوں گے حدثاء جمع ہے حدیث کی بمعنی نیا اور سفہاء جمع ہے سفیہ کی بمعنی ہلکا پن یا بے عقلی جیسے صغیر کی جمع صغراء ہے۔۳؎ یعنی مخلوق جو بہترین کلام بولتی یا پڑھتی ہے وہ کلام کیا کریں گے یعنی قرآن مجید بہت پڑھیں گے ہر ایک کو دعوت قرآن دیں گے۔مشکوۃ شریف کے بعض نسخوں میں ہے من قول خیر البریہ اس صورت میں خیر البریہ سے مراد حضور صلی اللہ علیہ و سلم ہیں اور آپ کے قول سے مراد حدیث شریف وقرآن مجید دونوں ہیں یعنی ہر ایک کو کتاب و سنت کی طرف دعوت دیں گے اور قال اﷲ قال الرسول ان کی زبان پر رہے گا۔(مرقات)حضرت ابن عمر فرماتے ہیں کہ خوارج بدترین خلق ہیں یہ بدنصیب کفار کی آیات مسلمانوں پر چسپاں کرتے ہیں،دیکھو بخاری باب الخوارج اور مرقات یہ ہی مقام۔آج دیوبندیوں وہابیوں کی تقریریں تحریریں دیکھو کہ یہ لوگ ہمیشہ بتوں کی آیات حضرات انبیاء اولیاء پر چسپاں کرتے ہیں اور کفارومشرکین کی آیات مسلمانوں پر پڑھتے ہیں۔۴؎ یعنی کلمہ اور اسلام ان کے صرف منہ میں ہوگا دل میں کفر اورحضرات انبیاءواولیاء اور تمام مسلمانوں سے عنادوبغض بھرا ہوگا،حناجر جمع ہے حنجرہ کی بمعنی حلقوم۔۵؎ دین سے مراد اسلام ہے نہ کہ محض طاعت بادشاہ یعنی شکاری کا تیر شکار کے جسم میں داخل ہوکر ایسے نکل جاتا ہے کہ اس میں خون،گوشت،چربی کچھ بھی نہیں لگا ہوتا بالکل صاف ہوتا ہے ایسے ہی یہ لوگ دعویٰ اسلام کے باوجود اسلام سے --- ایسے نکل جائیں گے --- کہ ان کے دلوں میں اسلام کا شائبہ بھی نہ ہوگا۔اﷲ کی پناہ!۶؎ یا اس لیے قتل کردو کہ وہ مرتد ہیں یا اس لیے کہ وہ سلطان اسلام کے باغی ہیں مگر یہ قتل شاہ اسلام کرے گا نہ کہ عام مسلمان۔کسی نے حضرت علی سے

محمد بن عبدالوھاب نجدی کا ظہور بارھویں صدی ہجری میں ہوا۔ اس کا عقیدہ یہ تھا کہ انبیاء (علیہم السلام) سے توسل کرنا، اور ان سے شفاعت طلب کرنا شرک ہے اور جو شخص یہ عقیدہ رکھے، وہ کافر ہے، اور اس کو قتل کرنا مباح ہے۔ محمد بن عبدالوھاب نے لکھا ہے : تم یہ جان چکے ہو کہ لوگ اللہ کی ربوبیت کا اقرار کرنے کی وجہ سے اسلام میں داخل نہیں ہوتے، اور فرشتوں اور نبیوں کی شفاعت کا ارادہ کرنے کی وجہ سے اور ان کے وسیلہ سے اللہ کا تقرب حاصل کرنے کی وجہ سے ان کو قتل کرنا اور ان کا مال لوٹنا مباح ہوگیا ہے۔ *(کشف الشبہات صفحہ 9 مطبوعہ مکتبہ سلفیہ مدینہ منورہ)* محمد بن عبدالوہاب نجدی کے بھائی شیخ سلیمان بن عبدالوھاب نے اپنے بھائی شِیخ محمد بن عبدالوہاب نجدی کے ردّ میں مسطور الصدر حدیث سے استدلال کیا ہے، وہ لکھتے ہیں : اللہ تعالی نے اپنے نبی کریم (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کو جس قدر چاہا، اپنے غیب سے مطلع فرمایا اور قیامت تک جو کچھ ہونے والا ہے، اس کی خبر دے دی، اور رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے خبر دی ہے کہ جزیرہ عرب میں شیطان اپنی عبادت سے مایوس ہوچکا ہے، اور شداد کی روایت میں یہ مذکورہ ہے کہ جزیرہ عرب میں بت پرستی نہیں ہوگی اور تمہارا مذہب ان حدیثوں کے برعکس ہے کیونکہ تمہارا عقیدہ ہے کہ بصرہ اور اس کے گرد ونواح اور عراق میں دجلہ سے لے کر اس جگہ تک جہاں حضرت علی (کرم اللہ تعالیٰ وجھہ الکریم) اور حضرت امام حسین (رضی اللہ عنہ) کی قبریں ہیں، اسی طرح سارے یمن اور حجاز میں شیطان کی پرستش اور بت پرستی ہوتی ہے اور یہاں کے مسلمان بت پرست اور کفار ہیں۔ حالانکہ یہ تمام جگہیں سر زمینِ عرب کے وہ تمام علاقے ہیں جن کی سلامتی ایمان اور کفر سے برات کی حضور (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے خبر دی ہے اور تم کہتے ہو کہ یہاں کے لوگ کافر ہیں اور جو ان کو کافر نہ کہے، وہ بھی کافر ہے۔ سو یہ تمام احادیث تمہارے مذہب کا ردّ کرتی ہیں۔ نیز امام احمد، امام ترمذی، امام نسائی اور امام ابن ماجہ نے حضرت عمرو بن احوص (رضی الله عنه) سے روایت کیا ہے کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے حجۃ الوداع کے موقع پر فرمایا : "شیطان ہمیشہ کے لیے اس سے مایوس ہوچکا ہے کہ تمہارے اس شہر (مکہ مکرمہ) میں اس کی پرستش کی جائے۔ البتہ تمہاری آپس کی لڑائیوں میں اس کی پیروی ہوتی رہے گی۔" رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کبھی خلافِ واقع خبر نہیں دیتے اور جن چیزوں (توسل اور طلب اور طلب شفاعت) کا نام تم شرک اکبر رکھتے ہو، ان کے مرتکبین کو بت پرست کہتے ہو، ان تمام امور پر تمام اہل مکہ، ان کے عوام، امراء اور علماء چھ سو سال سے زیادہ عرصہ سے عمل پیرا ہیں، اور تمہارا گمان ہے کہ یہ لوگ کافر ہیں اور یہ احادیث تمہارے زعمِ فاسد کا رد کرتی ہیں۔ *(الصواعق الالہیہ صفحہ 46، 47 مطبوعہ مکتبہ الیثیق استنبول)* علامہ سید محمد امین ابن عابدین شامی حنفی متوفی ١٢٥٢ ھ تحریر فرماتے ہیں : "ہمارے زمانہ میں محمد بن عبد الوھاب کے متبعین نجد سے نکلے اور حرمین پر قابض ہوگئے۔ یہ خود کو حنبلی مذہب کی طرف منسوب کرتے ہیں، لیکن ان کا عقیدہ یہ ہے کہ صرف وہی مسلمان ہیں اور جو ان کے اعتقاد کے مخالف ہوں اور وہ مشرک ہیں۔ انہوں نے اہل سنت کے قتل اور اور ان کے علماء کے قتل کو جائز قرار دیا۔" *(رد المختار جلد 3 صفحہ 309 مطبوعہ دارا حیاء التراث العربی بیروت)* محمد انور شاہ کشمیری لکھتا ہے : "رہا محمد بن عبدالوھاب نجدی تو وہ پلید شخص تھا، کم علم تھا، اور وہ بہت جلد کفر کا حکم لگاتا تھا۔ حالانکہ تکفیر اس شخص کو کرنی چاہیے جس کا علم بہت پختہ ہو اور وہ حاضر دماغ ہو اور کفر کی وجوہ اور اس کے اسباب کا جاننے والا ہو۔" *(فیض الباری جلد اول صفحہ 171 مطبوعہ مطبعہ الحجازی القاہرہ)* chat.whatsapp.com/HaxJuXeKacBDRsBC6klQ58 سید احمد بن زینی دحلان مکی شافعی تحریر فرماتے ہیں : "اور محمد بن عبدالوہاب نجدی بہ صراحت کہا کرتا تھا کہ چھ سو سال سے تمام امت کافر ہے اور وہ ہر اس شخص کی تکفیر کرتا تھا جو اس کی اتباع نہ کرے۔ خواہ وہ انتہائی پرہیزگار شخص ہی کیوں نہ ہو، وہ ایسے تمام مسلمانوں کو مشرک قرار دے کر ان کو قتل کرا دیتا اور ان کے مال ومتاع کو لوٹنے کا حکم دیتا اور جو شخص اس کی اتباع کرلیتا اس کو مومن قرار دیتا۔ خواہ وہ شخص بد ترین فاسق ہو۔ *(خلاصۃ الکلام فی امر البلد الحرام صفحہ 333 مطبوعہ مکتبہ الیثیق استنبول)* حسین احمد مدنی دیوبندی لکھتا ہے : "محمد بن عبدالوھاب نجدی ابتداء تیرھویں صدی میں نجد عرب سے ظاہر ہوا۔ (یہ 1115 ھ میں پیدا ہوا اور 1206 میں مرگیا) اور چونکہ یہ خیالات باطلہ اور عقائد فاسدہ رکھتا تھا، اس لیے اس نے اہل سنت و الجماعت سے قتل و قتال کیا، ان کو بالجبر اپنے خیالات کی تکلیف دیتا رہا ان کے اموال کو غنیمت کا مال اور حلال سمجھا

There was no justification for Muhammad bin AbdulWahhab and his gang to wage 370+ qazwaat on the Muslims! Nevertheless, their act is not shirk, at worst, it is haram. Unless he provides unadulterated evidence that they made actual shirk taking the one in the grave as God or equal to God or deified him/them he shall be held highly accountable in front of Allah SWT to provide the solid evidence. We consider congregational prayer behind any of the people of qibla, both the virtuous and the sinful, to be valid. We also pray over those among them who died. ولا ننزل أحدا منهم جنة ولا نارا، ولا نشهد عليهم بكفر ولا بشرك ولا بنفاق، ما لم يظهر منهم شيء من ذلك، ونذر سرائرهم إلى الله تعالى. We do not specify anyone among them to be in either Paradise or the Fire. We also do not accuse any of them of disbelief, idolatry, or hypocrisy, as long as none of that manifests from them. Sheikh albani on sheikh Muhammad ibn Abdul wahab الألباني: محمد بن عبدالوهاب فيه غلو وشده
Albani considered Muhammad Ibn Abdul-Wahab a reformer and praised his Da’wah, but he also criticized him for their excessive Takfir.
Albani says about Muhammad Ibn Abdul-Wahab:
- He had exaggeration and harshness
- His followers inherited that from his teachings
- He could not differentiate between authentic [صحيح] and weak [ضعيف] Ahadith
- He had no high level of care in following Salafi Fiqh
- I am one of the harshest critics of the Wahabiyah
1- Albani said (“Silsilah huda wa Noor”, 297):
الحقيقة محمد بن عبدالوهاب فضله كبير على الأمة الإسلامية ؛ لكن فيه شيء من الغلو والشدة
الجماعة كان عندهم شيء من الشدة؛ أخذوها طبعاً من بعض نصوص محمد بن عبدالوهاب رحمه الله، واستمر الأتباع إلى هذا العهد موصومون بهذه الشدة، وكنا نسمع نحن قديماً أن هؤلاء النجديين يكفرون عامة المسلمين، أو يقولون عنهم خوارج
“The truth regarding Muhammad Ibn Abdul-Wahhab is that he has done a great favour upon the Islamic nation, but he had some level of exaggeration and harshness.
… This group has inherited some of this harshness, which they of course took from the writings of Mohammad Ibn Abdul-Wahab, may God be merciful to him. They are stigmatised with this harshness.
And we used to hear from long time ago that these Najdis make Takfir on the general masses of the Muslims, and they used to be accused of being Khawarij.”
2- Albani said after he mentioned some good qualities of Ibn Taymiyah:
, بخلاف الشيخ محمد بن عبد الوهاب, فلم تكن له هذه العناية, لا في الحديث ولا في الفقه السلفي, فهو من الناحية المذهبية حنبلي, ومن الناحية الحديثية كغيره, فليس له آثار في الفقه تدلنا على أنه كابن تيمية سلفي المنهج في التفقه في الدين, لعل له في ذلك عذرا كما ألمحنا إليه آنفا.وكذلك في الأحاديث فهو كغيره مع الأسف الشديد, لا معرفة عنده بالحديث الصحيح والضعيف
“Contrary to Sheikh Muhammad Ibn Abdul Wahhab - who did not have this level of care in hadith nor in Salafi fiqh. He is a Hanbali from the side of the madhhab and in Hadith, he is like others.
He has left no traces in Fiqh which would indicate to us that he was like Ibn Taymiyah a Salafi in manhaj in terms of his understanding of religion. Perhaps he has an excuse in this which we have already hinted at.
And also in the hadith, he, like the others, unfortunately, has no knowledge of authentic or weak hadiths.”
3- Albani also said (“Silsilah huda wa Noor”, 713):
أما الوهابية: فما لي ولها ؛ فأنا أنقضها ؛ ربما أشد من غيري ، وربما الحاضرون يعلمون ذلك

غالبًا آخر زمان سے مراد خلافت راشدہ کا آخری دور ہے اور اس قوم سے مراد خوارج ہیں کیونکہ خوارج حضرت علی کی خلافت میں پیدا ہوئے اور ہوسکتا ہے کہ آخر زمانہ سے مراد قریب قیامت ہو اور اس قوم سے مراد وہابی ہوں کہ ان کا خروج بارہویں صدی میں ہوا،علامہ شامی نے وہابیوں کو خوارج فرمایا ہے یہ بھی قریبًا خوارج ہیں۔۲؎ یعنی ان میں اکثر نو عمرلڑکے عقل کے کوتاہ ہوں گے حدثاء جمع ہے حدیث کی بمعنی نیا اور سفہاء جمع ہے سفیہ کی بمعنی ہلکا پن یا بے عقلی جیسے صغیر کی جمع صغراء ہے۔۳؎ یعنی مخلوق جو بہترین کلام بولتی یا پڑھتی ہے وہ کلام کیا کریں گے یعنی قرآن مجید بہت پڑھیں گے ہر ایک کو دعوت قرآن دیں گے۔مشکوۃ شریف کے بعض نسخوں میں ہے من قول خیر البریہ اس صورت میں خیر البریہ سے مراد حضور صلی اللہ علیہ و سلم ہیں اور آپ کے قول سے مراد حدیث شریف وقرآن مجید دونوں ہیں یعنی ہر ایک کو کتاب و سنت کی طرف دعوت دیں گے اور قال اﷲ قال الرسول ان کی زبان پر رہے گا۔(مرقات)حضرت ابن عمر فرماتے ہیں کہ خوارج بدترین خلق ہیں یہ بدنصیب کفار کی آیات مسلمانوں پر چسپاں کرتے ہیں،دیکھو بخاری باب الخوارج اور مرقات یہ ہی مقام۔آج دیوبندیوں وہابیوں کی تقریریں تحریریں دیکھو کہ یہ لوگ ہمیشہ بتوں کی آیات حضرات انبیاء اولیاء پر چسپاں کرتے ہیں اور کفارومشرکین کی آیات مسلمانوں پر پڑھتے ہیں۔۴؎ یعنی کلمہ اور اسلام ان کے صرف منہ میں ہوگا دل میں کفر اورحضرات انبیاءواولیاء اور تمام مسلمانوں سے عنادوبغض بھرا ہوگا،حناجر جمع ہے حنجرہ کی بمعنی حلقوم۔۵؎ دین سے مراد اسلام ہے نہ کہ محض طاعت بادشاہ یعنی شکاری کا تیر شکار کے جسم میں داخل ہوکر ایسے نکل جاتا ہے کہ اس میں خون،گوشت،چربی کچھ بھی نہیں لگا ہوتا بالکل صاف ہوتا ہے ایسے ہی یہ لوگ دعویٰ اسلام کے باوجود اسلام سے

ظہور بارھویں صدی ہجری میں ہوا۔
اس کا عقیدہ یہ تھا کہ انبیاء (علیہم السلام) سے توسل کرنا، اور ان سے شفاعت طلب کرنا شرک ہے اور جو شخص یہ عقیدہ رکھے، وہ کافر ہے، اور اس کو قتل کرنا مباح ہے۔

اللہ تعالی نے اپنے نبی کریم (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کو جس قدر چاہا، اپنے غیب سے مطلع فرمایا اور قیامت تک جو کچھ ہونے والا ہے، اس کی خبر دے دی، اور رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے خبر دی ہے کہ جزیرہ عرب میں شیطان اپنی عبادت سے مایوس ہوچکا ہے، اور شداد کی روایت میں یہ مذکورہ ہے کہ جزیرہ عرب میں بت پرستی نہیں ہوگی اور تمہارا مذہب ان حدیثوں کے برعکس ہے کیونکہ تمہارا عقیدہ ہے کہ بصرہ اور اس کے گرد ونواح اور عراق میں دجلہ سے لے کر اس جگہ تک جہاں حضرت علی (کرم اللہ تعالیٰ وجھہ الکریم) اور حضرت امام حسین (رضی اللہ عنہ) کی قبریں ہیں، اسی طرح سارے یمن اور حجاز میں شیطان کی پرستش اور بت پرستی ہوتی ہے اور یہاں کے مسلمان بت پرست اور کفار ہیں۔ حالانکہ یہ تمام جگہیں سر زمینِ عرب کے وہ تمام علاقے ہیں جن کی سلامتی ایمان اور کفر سے برات کی حضور (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے خبر دی ہے اور تم کہتے ہو کہ یہاں کے لوگ کافر ہیں اور جو ان کو کافر نہ کہے، وہ بھی کافر ہے۔ سو یہ تمام احادیث تمہارے مذہب کا ردّ کرتی ہیں۔ نیز امام احمد، امام ترمذی، امام نسائی اور امام ابن ماجہ نے حضرت عمرو بن احوص (رضی الله عنه) سے روایت کیا ہے کہ رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) نے حجۃ الوداع کے موقع پر فرمایا :
"شیطان ہمیشہ کے لیے اس سے مایوس ہوچکا ہے کہ تمہارے اس شہر (مکہ مکرمہ) میں اس کی پرستش کی جائے۔ البتہ تمہاری آپس کی لڑائیوں میں اس کی پیروی ہوتی رہے گی۔"
رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم) کبھی خلافِ واقع خبر نہیں دیتے اور جن چیزوں (توسل اور طلب اور طلب شفاعت) کا نام تم شرک اکبر رکھتے ہو، ان کے مرتکبین کو بت پرست کہتے ہو، ان تمام امور پر تمام اہل مکہ، ان کے عوام، امراء اور علماء چھ سو سال سے زیادہ عرصہ سے عمل پیرا ہیں، اور تمہارا گمان ہے کہ یہ لوگ کافر ہیں اور یہ احادیث تمہارے زعمِ فاسد کا رد کرتی ہیں۔

There was no justification for Muhammad bin AbdulWahhab and his gang to wage 370+ qazwaat on the Muslims! The Wahhabi are even worse than the first gen khawarej as they made a Muslim believer a kaafir for committing a major sin, whereas Ibn Abdulwahhab and his party until today make Muslims Kaafirs not over a major sin but over a disputed fiqhi matter by them not by the majority of the Fuqaha of the Four Mathaahab.
The way to correct the people on their wrong practices, if they were actually wrong or what the Wahhabi's saw was wrong was through education. He did not accept the rebuttals of the Fuqaha of Najd , Mohammed Abdulla Fairouz , Suleiman bn AbdulWahhab his brother , Mohammed AbdurRahman Afaaliq, and many more , and thats just in Najd, let alone hundreds more outside of Najd or neighbouring communities.
It is highly unfortunate to hear this irresponsible Asrar Ahmed allegation on all the scholars of that day, that they had all embraced the shirk practices and practitioners and kept a blind eye over their shirk ??? may Allah forgive him.
If anything Dr. Asrar Ahmed said may have been speaking about a practice of the hujjaj of the Shia Zaydi who ruled parts of Yemen who'd come as hujjaj and perhaps had weird beliefs and practices , such as making tawaf around a grave ... how does he assume the scholars never addressed them ? Nevertheless, their act is not shirk, at worst, it is haram. Unless he provides unadulterated evidence that they made actual shirk taking the one in the grave as God or equal to God or deified him/them he shall be held highly accountable in front of Allah SWT to provide the solid evidence.

God will pardon them and admit them into Paradise by His

salvation, we never engender in them despair.

A believer does not lose his faith except by denying that
which made him a believer.
ونرى الصلاة خلف كل بر وفاجر من أهل القبلة، ونصلي على من مات منهم.
We consider congregational prayer behind any of the
people of qibla, both the virtuous and the sinful, to be
valid. We also pray over those among them who died.
ولا ننزل أحدا منهم جنة ولا نارا، ولا نشهد عليهم بكفر ولا بشرك ولا بنفاق، ما لم يظهر منهم شيء من ذلك، ونذر سرائرهم إلى الله تعالى.
We do not specify anyone among them to be in either
Paradise or the Fire. We also do not accuse any of them
of disbelief, idolatry, or hypocrisy, as long as none of that
manifests from them. We resign their inner states to God,
the Sublime and Exalted.

We do not consider violence or coercive power against
anyone from the community ofMuhammad Ji, acceptable,
unless legislated [by sacred law, such as penal punishments

The religion of God, both in Heaven and on earth, is one.
It is the religion of Islam. God, the Sublime and Exalted,
says, Verily, the religion with God is submission (Qur’an 3:19).
The Sublime also states, If anyone seeks other than submission
to God as a religion, it will not be accepted from him (Qur’an
3:85). Finally, the Sublime says, And 1 am pleased with Islam
as a religion for you (Qur’an 5:3).
Islam lies between the extremes of excess and neglect,
immanence and transcendence, determinism and free
will, and assurance of salvation and despair of God’s
grace
هذا ديننا واعتقادنا ظاهرا وباطنا، ونحن براء إلى الله من كل من خالف الذي ذكرناه وبيناه، ونسأل الله تعالى أن يثبتنا على الإيمان، ويختم لنا به، ويعصمنا من الأهواء المختلفة، والآراء المتفرقة، والمذاهب الردية، مثل المشبهة والمعتزلة والجهمية والجبرية والقدرية وغيرهم؛ من الذين خالفوا السنة والجماعة، وحالفوا الضلالة، ونحن منهم براء، وهم عندنا ضلال وأردياء،
، وبالله العصمة.
This is our religion and our creed in public and in
private. We absolve ourselves before God of anyone who
opposes what we have recounted and clarified here. We
ask God for a firm foundation in faith, that He seal our
lives with it, and that He protect and preserve us from
any heresies, variant and baseless opinions, and corrupt
doctrines, such as those of the Anthropomorphists,67
Rationalists, 68 Pantheists, 69 Determinists,70 Dualists, 71 and
