I don't know if you're still answering comments, but I was wondering if you used a fixative on some of the pages you worked on (and if so, what kind)? Been having a lot of trouble finding one that I can trust to use in my sketchbooks. Love your work btw, and congrats on getting accepted!!
No I didn't use any fixatives- all I used were acrylic paints I think. Just make sure to get a sketchbook with thick pages if you want to paint on them! Moleskin sketchbooks are really nice if you are into painting.
what other schools did you apply and get into? your sketchbook was so inspiring btw!! im 15 and calarts is one of the schools im VERY interested in most sketchbooks ive seen are SUPER intricate and have a shit ton of colors and it makes me feel rlly intimidated but i LOVE that yours was more on the srawings themselves than all of the colors and mediums
I got into ringling risd art center sva pratt and Calarts! Well don't be scared about the different mediums that other sketchbooks used- there are many accepted sketchbooks out there with limited mediums. Good Luck!
