You totally have mastered Embryology, professor! You are just far beyond description! Please upload as many lectures as you can... Omg you help us survive! I started loving embryology because of you!
I'm a first prof year mbbs student from india, whole year has passed and I kept struggling with embryology. Now preparing for my university exams and found this channel! OH GAWD had I found this earlier, would've never hated embryology. Definitely recommending this to all my coming juniors! Thankyou sir, your explanations are really crystal clear. I wish I had found this channel earlier
i love your videos! Thank you so much. All the textbooks and even my Professor do not care to show how one thing leads to another, the illustrations often missing inbetween steps. great great video!
Sir you defined *chorion* as 2 layered membrane ( cytotrophoblast and extraembryonic mesoderm ) that cover extraembryonic coelom. In Langmann, they mentioned " extraembryonic mesoderm lining inside of cytotrophoblast is called *chorionic plate* " Is chorion and chorionic plate different?? Is chorion is 2 layered ( cytotrophoblast and mesoderm ) . The chorionic plate is 1 layered ( only extraembryonic mesoderm )
ua-cam.com/video/OZFwLQc33o4/v-deo.htmlsi=FEWZIWrJFhqQqbQw 12:40 you mentioned yolk sac as exocoelomic cavity but, In this video, 14:15 you described as chorionic cavity as exocoelomic cavity again, pls confirm what is the definitive exocoelomic cavity… I think chorionic cavity is extra embryonic coelom and yolk sac is exocoelomic cavity right?
I am so sorry for the confusion, at 14:15 onwards, the cavity I am referring to is not "Exocelomic cavity", it is extra-embryonic celom. I had noticed this mistake while editing the video, hence put a correction at 14:23.

You have answered your own question correctly. Yes Chorion is different from Chorionic plate. This will become more clear when you learn "Placenta"
