    Thanks for another informative video. I have the power vision an really like it. Looking forward to adding Target Tune. This appears to be a much better idea than dyno tuning. Because it is constantly looking at the way I'm riding and not just idle to wide open throttle. I never ride at WOT so I don't really understand that.

    How do you determine what to set the AFR parameters for the target tune set up? You mentioned it will keep it at the levels you set, but I would know where to set them?

  • @johnjohnson2855

    You must have the bigger holes in your exhaust to use the wide band 02 sensors they will not fit in the stock O2 ports.

      You can Autotune and refladh ecm as many times as you want. Only issues Is anything outside of the parameters of the narrowband sensors will not be adjusted until you get the fp3 version of wideband o2 sensors system.

    • @ihatesjws669

      Yes big advantages, the moto company system has a cap on how much AFR will be adjusted per EPA restrictions. Powervision will not have those parameter restrictions.

    So once you set AFR values with the Target Tune set up and start to ride around, does the Power Vision have to stay connected at all times?

    • @ihatesjws1188
      @ihatesjws1188 3 роки тому

      With target tune yes. Target tune will need to self adjust the tune as you ride in real time. Autotune pro will write the program and download to the ECM so you can remove it when you think it's good. The power vision scree itself can be removed. The target tune box and sensors have to remain on the bike.

    • @shawn9878
      @shawn9878 3 роки тому

      Why would the power vision need to stay connect to the ecm ? I think he misunderstood the question. Isn't the target tune module communication between the 18mm O2 and ecm?

    • @ihatesjws1188
      @ihatesjws1188 2 роки тому +1

      @@shawn9878 powervision interface module itself can be removed, the target tune module needs to stay on the bike to continue to operate. You will have two boxes powervision box and target tune box with wide band o2 sensors. If that makes sense

  • @louisluongo5987

    i have the target tuner on my 18 SG. Dynojet suggests doing a few auto tune sessions even with the target tuner. That doesn't make sense if your saying it's going to self adjust on the fly since its closed loop. Now I'm confused.

    • @ihatesjws1188
      @ihatesjws1188 3 роки тому

      Because target tune is over hyped in my opinion. If you have only one bike I guess it's good. If you have multiple bikes or older bikes 99-06 then the autotune pro is best.

    So I'm assuming since the narrowband sensor is regulating at ~14.6 would it be safe to say when doing your autotune runs you should not be in the high rpm area for safety sake...

    • @ihatesjws1188

    Just installed the S&S 465 cam in my 107 2020 softail, and I did get base map from dynojet. There is major lag at takeoff, would autotune basic fix that lag? Everything after takeoff is straight power. I can’t believe what that cam did to my 107. Lol. It’s a beast.

    • @ihatesjws1188
      @ihatesjws1188 2 роки тому

      You can use stock narrowband sensors but it will not make any adjustments past its capability. Or buy power vision and Autotune pro using the wide band o2 sensors and have access and adjustments to the full map. Or buy power vision and target tune. All options have pros and cons

    • @juliandrago4257
      @juliandrago4257 2 роки тому

      I'm confused as well. I have the power vision black but running stock o2s.... Do we purchase just the widebands or do we have to get a kit?

    • @j.w.7579
      @j.w.7579 Рік тому

      @@juliandrago4257 I have the Power Vision Black myself and use it on a 2013 Heritage Softail Classic with the 103 Twin Cam. I also got the Target Tune which required me to buy a different exhaust system (Bassani Pro Street Turn Outs) because my stock exhaust system used the 12 mm O2 sensors and the Target Tune uses the 18 mm wide band sensors. If you want to get the most out of your Power Vision Black you will need to upgrade your exhaust to one that accepts 18 mm O2 sensors. The Target Tune kit does come with 18 mm O2 sensors and 18 mm bungs that you can weld on your stock exhaust system, but to work the best they need to be mounted at an angle like your 12 mm stock ones are and that's not possible with the bungs that are included with the kit. In addition to liking the Bassani Exhaust system that I bought, it also had a Map Tune that was already available for my combination from Fuel Moto that made it easier to to do the final Auto Tuning on my bike. The only upgrades I have are the Power Vision Black, Target Tune, Bassani exhaust and a high flow Screamin Eagle air filter. It made a world of difference in the performance and I believe it runs a little cooler too. I'm happy enough with just these components that I changed my mind on going to a Stage 2 with the cams upgrade.

    Ever since Harley went to EFI using maps the altitude is already automatically adjusted by the ECM. So if you tune with autotune pro it will adjust your altitude automatically as you ride. You can use autotune pro on pre O2 sensor technology as well, just need exhaust that has the ports.
